You need neither. It’s an adjustment for sure. But you can find rentable places for less than $300 dollar in great areas And $200 for areas less great.
@@TommyBrysonlmao yeah ok good luck having your power go out every 5 minutes. Not to mention if you want to go out to eat in an even moderately ok restaraunt it’s like 15 dollars. Nevermind something upscale, it’s basically midsized U.S. prices. No thanks , plenty of other budget places that are safer, more culture, better food, etc .,
@ej1692 work n save in the usa enuff $ to buy or build a house some where in DR that checks all ur boxes. Have a generator installed and u won't worry about power outages
I completely agree with all your points, I am from DR aswell and have studied in the USA for a while and is just not the same thing, sure there are nice areas in DR but the danger of driving, the literal risk of walking on the street, you have to think twice about getting the latest phone or a nice watch, the lack of consistent electricity and a long etc make it a not very desirable place, also it is very boring unless you live in the capital or punta cana as you mentioned, and the cost of living is high, the difference between the prices of the US and DR are not that big when we factor the low income if you are earning in Dominican Pesos. Thanks for your perspective.
Same! I actually get bloated and sick here all the time here in the US and when I go in DR and the food quality for me is better. I have celiac and lactose intolerance. Not sure where he lives but all things considered food wise is its better almost at the same price I buy it here.
I live in the capital, and I make it a point to get out of there every weekend because of the crazy driving. We are #1 in traffic fatalities in the WORLD. Definitely something I miss from the states.
I live in Orlando and the Dominicans here that I’ve met make me never want to visit DR. I hope there are more people who think like you that I can meet to give a positive example.
Many Dominicans can be difficult, many think foreigners are gullable and ignirant. I would say, they are protected by Law enforcement in their country, if a Dominican pull the scams they do in America. The law would be in our side, to physically defend yourself and your property
I like your honesty. I am Peruvian, moved to the US when I was 16. There is a very good reason thousands of people risk their lives to come to the US. In third world countries there are no labor laws and there is real poverty
This video made me feel regardless of what people go through in life it’s important to appreciate life for what it is not take life for granted . You were right what you said other countries are experiencing more In poverty than over here in the us .
Depends in your taste. Many things in the DR, dont taste good to me. Many times i choke on that shit. It took me 5 years to get use to mangoo. Its a matter of taste bro.

Why did you even move over there ? There are States in US with low cost of living and prices of homes are very affordable , lije Tennessee , my friend and her family moved there because everything in California is very expensive . They’re happy there , and not dangerous . They are also away from the city but safe .You should fo your research before moving there .
I have to disagree on the poeple are sick all the time. They have the big belly bc of te beer and the ever present teteo. And the fritura and all that. You also didn't mention that hospitals suck. You can't have anything nice or your a target. The only reason D.R. is awsomw because your Dollars are stronger than the Peso. It's a fun place to visit and to invest on Air BnB. But not to live. Only people that go live there is because they could not make it on their homeland.
Why we always talk shit about the US, but you like the benefits of it… what about instead of getting paid in dollars you get paid in pesos let’s see what you say about that
It would just be the equivalent of US to Peso. But I do get your point. It’s normal; it’s how places improve by people pointing out flaws and trying to fix it.
its more to it then benefits yes off course if you go to D.R you would still want a U.S salary but people are now understanding mental health is the most important thing ,people are leaving the U.S at an alarming rate most people don't want to leave but have to you're never going to have it all people will complain regardless.
Well that’s just dumb lol. Make USD’s and move overseas. The US sucks but it’s a great place to make money. I left a year ago for Asia and Africa and have never been better.
I love visiting D.R but living their is rough unless you have a strong support system or are very rich.

Interesting when you said food I always taught the food in Dr was more organic when I go over there fruits are not the same as here in New York

Dont you miss the convenience of turning on a water faucet and getting clean drinking water ?
Lol I never trusted that “clean” water because of the rusting pipes in the city

Not worth the argument since we are both just using anecdotal evidence. But we can both agree people could be healthier

This is correct, Mary's strategy has normalized winning trades for me also, and it's a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started..
Isn't she the same Mrs Mary Patricia Hester neighbors are talking about, she has to be a perfect expect for people to talk about her so well.
Her platform is wonderful, and her services are exceptional

Plenty of people live very well in DR making pesos. There’s a middle and upper class there, not everyone is poor.
