Well take it from someone who lives in a 30 mile radius, it’s probably the best game store in all of Arkansas. For a while if you wanted games it was game x change or GameStop. Now GameStop is well… GameStop, and gamexchange sells power tools, instruments and is basically a pawn shop now.
Whoever has to dust this store… god bless them. So freaking cool!

Was such a joy when i realized you were located close by so i had to visit. Met Rick and talked ninja turtles for a few minutes. Super lovely guy and friendly staff. Recommend his shop to everyone i know whos interested in retro stuff. Way to go man.

The only thing I would add is a wall of playable systems. When I was a kid, every game store I loved had a wall with every system with the little controller holder sticking out where you could play them in-store. I think that would add a lot, plus you could potentially use them for people to test a game before buying, and local tournaments as well.
Giving me all the juice to give my record store a little facelift. Been open for two years now and it’s time to refine! Congrats all on the new and improved Game Point!

Danggg the little custom labels for each of the toy types (Power Rangers etc.) is a sick idea. Easy way to get a premium for used toys

I was able to stop in last week on my way thru town on vacation. I told my wife that it was the best part of "vacation". This is hands down the best toy/game store I've ever been to! I got to meet Rick and he's just like he is here on TH-cam. Great job sir!

What a phenomenal place. I always though Pink Gorilla was my most wanted game store to visit but Retro Rick stole the show here! Hopefully I can find myself in the area someday and do some buying!
I really hate the idea of getting rid of the museum showcases and "one upping" them (which some don't even have anything to do with video games). There was a Castlevania showcase that's been there ever since I was a child, and it was amazing seeing something dedicated to a franchise I felt was really underappreciated. Going in that store with my dad and admiring it was the highlight of the visit.
Perhaps it's not as profitable, but I'd much rather go to a store that feels like an homage to gaming as a whole rather than a TH-camr's trophy wall. I guess there's still Game Xchange.
Update: Since this comment, I've gone in more times than I can count (about equal to my Game Xchange visits) and have filled out many a card punches. I really appreciate the transparency in the business aspect of owning the store and the journey behind it, plus the inventory that I didn't see before you took it over. Still hurts to see one of the most nostalgic things about the store gone, but I hope you understand that feeling as someone who's made a career off nostalgia.
Congrats Rick! It's SSSO U! I remember yrs back discovering ur channel and seeing the game room for the 1st time and this is the game room on roids! Lol, it's totally u and u guys did great! This is by far the GOAT of Game stores. The custom Retro TMNT packaging, the new store logo, the Mario Wall. This place is like a dream for every kid that grew up in 90s era gaming and I'm sure many others. I could go on and on, this place is amazing.
Little Rock is a bit to the northeast of me! Will have to make my way up there for a bit of nostalgia and perhaps shopping!

that super soaker hanging off master chief was actually made illegal lol. something about having more pressure than every other model. ( I used to own a 2000)
I just found 2 mobile play station 1s with the tv screen attached with the box and manuals in the trash and they both work fine. Price charting says their worth 350 a piece. To me that’s gamers GOLD. My neighbor didn’t know what he had. I’m defiantly keeping the better condition one and trying to sell the other 1 on offer up.
Edit: I don’t have anybody to tell who would appreciate it. So I just want to tell somebody.
I have love how you transform the store. It look so awesome. I would have do a group staff recording so that persons know the face of the employees and brings off a more personal branding for the retro community.

I had an amazing experience inside the store during the grand re-opening! I even spotted the Zelda Gameboy SP that I bought at the 13:00 mark.
I remember going to the mall checking out E/B games and that’s the first time I saw super Mario 64/N64, was on the same stage and everything, blew my mind
