You should ask people who come into the store what to do with the board games. If there a community of people who go to the store for them, then you should consider keeping them.

I've been shopping at Game Point off and on ever since I was in high school, so early 2000s. It's changed hands several times over the years but it's always been the used game store in Conway, AR with the best employees and the nicest shopping experience. Glad to see it's still in loving hands.

The magical use of colors that KB toys and Toys R Us had in the 90’s was the secret sauce that your new store has. The bigger than life characters tells a story that inspires without any digital stimulation that other stores today use.
Killer store bud! Was able to visit it last year when I was in Arkansas… the display items are definitely next level. Looking forward to what you do with it.
Kinda wild for me to see you grow from a scrappy 2k sub YT channel to almost 200k, but also a freaking game store owner!

A good friend of mine owns a comic and game store. He's always done well with Magic and Pokemon cards. A good portion of those sales come from having a dedicated place for the customers to meet up and play. Makes it another destination. Rather than Jim's questionable "secondary" use of socks, smelling basement, they can come there and buy new packs, drinks and snacks from you. He also diversified into high end RC cars. Which has done amazing for him. They are always breaking and buying new parts. Congrats on the store by the by.
Congrats on the new store man! I feel like that "Museum" area could be used to display very rare games for sale for certain consoles like Nintendo or N64 or even display rare toys. The museum area is a cool idea I just don't think if it'd bring customers in and could be used in a better way. Congrats again man!
I don't know how many times I've seen this video its such a great achievement. I'm glad to say I've been here since the beginning you are the reason I took all my consoles out that I had in boxes and clean them, connect them, display and play them in the mancave.
The best of successes Rick! You guys are an inspiration as collectors and as a community for all of us who enjoy retro, even in distant latitudes as is my case, from Costa Rica.
My opinion, You need a lounge area! A place where people can come in and relax and play on their handhelds or maybe set up a few TV's to hook up retro game systems. That would be cool. Congrats Rick this is a collectors dream and you've achieved it!

What I love about the store is it isn't just your generic store filled dwith loads of games. It feels more like a huge version of a home games room. All the statues and other touches are what makes the difference and show that you're passionate to the customer. Personally I'd keep the board games, or scale down. Put in tmnt and other retro as it's your passion, but be careful not to become a toy store. Also if possible change up the museum section and the statues a bit a couple of times a year to get people to keep coming back, maybe even throw in a few pinball machines. Can't wait to see how things evolve and best of luck with everything.

I've been going to this wonderful store since it first opened, it was originally a much smaller store across the street. I was only 7 or 8 years old at the time but I still remember that humble location too. I couldn't agree more about it being the world's greatest video game store, and I have faith in its future knowing that the new owner is just as passionate about gaming as the founding couple were.
P.S. that copy of Wind Waker at 7:18 was mine, I had it since it was released but traded it in a little while back for the HD remake on Wii U. Cool to see it getting a cameo in this landmark of Game Point's history lol.

That's probably the cleanest, most well organized game store I've ever seen. I need one like that in my area.
The coolest thing about your store is the size. It is so tall and makes it seem more alive, I suppose, less cramped. It is sick.
If it was me, I'd add, if possible, a action figure/toy section.

I’m from Conway and been going to gamepoint since it open they by far give you more money then any other store for your trade the people who owned it before are such wonderful people and I’m glad they chose a great person who cares about the stuff to take over as well I can confirm that since Rick took over the store has been in great hands and it’s only getting better ever day
I went to college at UCA and went to this store all the time. I lived in an apartment complex right down the road. This is really awesome!

I actually live in the town where this GamePoint is located and it’s my absolute favorite place to go!! I’ve been going here ever since I was a kid, really glad to see it get some love and attention, will def have to stop by a lot more
I have shopped here for the last 15 years and this is my absolute favorite game store. The employees are what honestly made me keep coming back. Everyone that works there is super nice and they go above and beyond to help you.
Such a beautiful store. Yes the statues and displays stand out. That effect definitely gets me as what I love about collecting is the curation and display of your collection. It feels like a cool place to hang out as well as find games on my list.

Been watching you for awhile now and I'm so happy for you man. Store looks awesome and has so much potential for expansion, content, vlogs, etc. Even contests where fans could be invited to the store to pick up their favourite game or have a budget if they won and be featured in a video. Could throw a party with some other TH-camrs, play some retro games as a "Game Off"... The possibilities are endless!

I've been visiting this store for 14 or 15 years. Crazy to see it like this.
I've been following this channel last 2 years and must say wow what joy and fun been to see how easy things can be found and achieve.
I'm a smal game collector which my wife think I'm not. But compared to community for sure.
And this have inspired me to do collecting in a smarter way and aswell enjoy it.

I was up there a lot when I lived in Conway. It really is a very unique experience. It's just about as eclectic as a game exchange. But the difference is it's about as classy as a five-star restaurant

You should definitely replace the table top section with vintage toys/collectibles. This place is such a vibe. You should be insanely proud of yourself
this place looks amazing! you're doing a really good thing for the people who come in there. not just going into a game store, but having an experience. awesome dude. to replace the board game section, I would put retro toys and action figures there for sure. place sounds like Heaven lol
I’m not much of a board game person, I’d love to see glass cases of collectibles that kinda look like a flea market, unique awkward retro stuff of cartoons, characters, merchandise of everything random! Kinda like museum but also maybe a place where people bring stuff you decide if it’s worth or not get donated. Watching your channel I’m sure most my toys of 90’s you could find people that exactly love it and display it and I have no drive to sell it on eBay but I’d totally give it to you free! Seeing a mini flea market in your store of these special items would be neat.
I grew up in the ‘90’s I saw those Gameboy signs in Montgomery Wards, Sears, WalMart and Target as well as the game demo kiosks, they just don’t do that anymore. The last one I ever saw was for the xBox 360 at my Walmart and that was almost 20 years ago. You just had to be there.
My son and I love the channel and we'll continue to watch the new adventures.
put all board games into a different section, change the shelves for taller ones and make it a center piece

A real life, non faked retail store channel with real buying/selling and trading with stuff available that you find in your videos would be very interesting, taking the channel to a whole 'nother live level. That store is so awesome. When I was a kid the local video rental store had a movie museum like the game museum in your store. It had Indiana Jones, a haunted house for the horror section with Freddy and Jason and Hannibal it was the an experience every time you went in that store. It is one of my best childhood memories. So excited for you, I hope to go there one day. Congrats 🎉.

You know what would be so DOPE … if you take the stuff out the cases by the wall scrolls and put like a virtual boy in there with like a pic or video of a commercial . And So on with the other cases …. I was born in 1996 and is channel always teaches me more about the past. And crazy how you couldn’t save game data on certain game . You would really have to grind .
