This was a fun evening. I am glad you both were able to stop over to film. No games were ruined in the making of this video, only a couple close calls 😂
Glad to hear that the games weren't damaged lol. Your game room is amazing..hell, I am jealous of all of that space alone. My gimp ass will probably never have a place like that to set up my game room.
Demo tapes where the ones given to video stores to play on the store tvs. They had a disclaimer scrolling throughout the movie about not for resale and property of the company. My dad brought them home as a kid as he was a manager at blockbuster at the time. They are also known as screener copies.
I can relate to growing up without enough money to get many toys and games, and now that I’m making decent money, I’m buying everything I couldn’t get. Feels great
Really enjoyed seeing so many toys & figurines I had as a kid (several of the GI Joes, the four Ninja Turtles and Schreider, Batman figurines, two of the Lego castles, etc.) . Especially in a room tour in Wisconsin (as I grew up on the other side of the Atlantic)!
Wow that was an awesome game/toy room I need that space. Hopefully I’ll get it when I moved here shortly. I’ll have my video game room and my retro toy room.
I’m so jealous of American houses! Our houses here in the UK don’t have basements and we have to cram gamesrooms into spare bedrooms! But this was one hell of a games room and tour! Amazing! 🙌🏼
Those demos are for video stores to watch and see if they wanna order it. It would go from color to black and white and sometime audio would cut out and there would be water marks as well.
This honestly the best overall game room I've ever seen. The only thing I wish he had more of was Pokemon, but he may have it just not displayed. The guy as well seems extremely humble and nice as well. I'm in Canada and next year I'm hoping to start uploading my game room/ shoe room once we make the move and upgrades, this definitely inspiring me though!
I liked the Squal and Rinoa framed drawings above his TV. I think the other drawings were other Final Fantasy characters. At first I thought it was all FFVIII characters l, which would have been dope.
Glad you got to come to our lil small town Baraboo! P.s Thanks for stopping into my Kwik Trip and getting a picture with me! Very nice to meet you man! Also awesome collection from a fellow Baraboo Collector :)
FINALLY seeing some Dreamcast love in your videos!! You really need to do your homework on the console and feature it in upcoming videos!! Such a GOAT system!
In the hay-day of video rental stores, the stores were given demo/screener copies of various movies from their distributors for the stores to view and see if they wanted to purchase the actual retail copy. As you watch the demo copy, a ticker-tape scrolls across the bottom of the screen. To my recollection, I think the message read "If this copy is either rented or sold, call 1-800-NO-COPIES"
Omg Rick! I knew you were coming to Wisconsin and I was ecstatic to hear that but then find out you payed a Visit to Baraboo.. Im literally one town over! I would of loved to be able to meet yeah man and had to work so couldn't make it to the Expo 😢 Maybe one day I can make the journey to check out the store! Ether way Amazing game room no doubt! If the owner sees this comment Hmu would love to Nerd out and check this out in person!
Rick, I think you and I are the same age and it’s so funny how true the age gap is. We seem to have the same memories and interests. SNES was my first true console, but older cousins played NES. N64 by far my greatest memory and getting that for Xmas was the greatest gift I ever received lol
Did you play Goldeneye growing up? Did you own any of the Rareware games? Mario? Zelda? Racing games? Star Fox? F Zero and Mario Kart? That was the first console platform Rick bought games for himself.
@@mariokart8715 yessir. Most of those. Zelda is still my all time favorite game and still try and play it occasionally. Goldeneye was a game I played at other kids houses before I even own my own and then had it myself. Mario and Goldeneye were the games I got that Xmas and then Zelda was next and never stopped playing that one
I know! So cool. Rick had an old video where he was in some sort of storage room filled with toys (i forget where) and there was lots of Captain Power stuff. And they just pass by like it's nothing worth checking out or questioning. Of my 80s and 90s childhood nostalgia Captain Power was up there with transformers, gijoe, tmnt and starwars. Remember the flying ships where you could shoot at the crt television screen like the nes zapper? It had tv episodes played by real actors and cartoons on vhs. I get excited just thinking about it. We got to find a video on youtube. Someone out there has to appreciate it as much as us!

Excellent game room and collection man! One of the best I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing it with us and Crypto Rick!
Fantastic game room bro! Everything looks awesome
Out of curiosity how much is everything in that basement worth?
No kids allow I guess
I think this is the best game room I've ever seen, he's got just about everything.
I could easily watch hours of footage of this room

Yeah I have a few of those too. Joe's apartment 😂 is one of them, Bully, Gas food lodging.
@@Christophersanchez1326such a good movie haha I have little Nicky
I have Children Of The Corn - The original that started it all.
I have a Street Fighter animated movie demo VHS tape, found it at Salvation Army over a decade ago. 😄
Local movie rental store owner gave me Heavyweights because I was asking every week when it was coming out
I just love how everything is soo neat and put together. Could just spend hours looking at everything.
One of the coolest setups, I love the layout, it plays a big part in making it all come together
Rick just like a little kid jumping around and touching everything, honestly wouldn’t want to show him my collection 🤣
Here comes Retro Rick, destroyer of worlds. 😀
I can relate to growing up without enough money to get many toys and games, and now that I’m making decent money, I’m buying everything I couldn’t get. Feels great
That vintage Lego collection is beautiful! The whole room collection is beautiful! 🔥 Def a great vid!
Michael seems like such a chill guy and my god, what a work of art he has made that basement!
I think the best part about this game room is the space. Not too cramped but awesomeness neatly spread throughout.
Your game room is sick
Based dude was about to smash Disney and Rick hit the breaks quick lol
Really enjoyed seeing so many toys & figurines I had as a kid (several of the GI Joes, the four Ninja Turtles and Schreider, Batman figurines, two of the Lego castles, etc.) . Especially in a room tour in Wisconsin (as I grew up on the other side of the Atlantic)!
The worst part about showing your game room to people is they want to touch stuff. I always tell everyone touch with your eyes!
The best quality collection I have seen so far.
AMAZIN ROOM,a great place to work,to get fun,to read,to be with family and friends, thanks for share.
He had his games alphabetically ordered.... Then rick showed up 😂
Lmao setting them on the couch and desks and stuff lmao
Man not sure I'd invite Rick into my game room after this video. It was almost like he had too much sugar when grabbing for his stuff!
crazy room. you gotta ask what they are most proud of or what they are most excited to show us
Rick just grabbing stuff in alphabetical order and setting it down elsewhere like on the love seat arm when you dropped the game lmao
rick grabbin games like he at the goodwill
He looks like that one crazy guy from breaking bad. Todd 😂
no he doesnt , at all
Todd got LASIK and then joined up with Uncle Jack because he needed to fund his game collection.
@@kungfuhustla1168 yes he does. At all
I was going to say Matt Damon. But that is essentially the same 😆
OMG. That She-ra 3:09 stuff brings back so many memories. I need to dig through my parents attic to see if I still have it.
Baraboo is a great little town in WI. I live about 20 minutes away. So cool to see Rick in my neck of the woods.
So Rick, are we finally going to collab at SEGE? After all these years? 🎉🎉🎉🎉
This collection is inspiring, truly beautifully curated. Major kudos to this dude
I had so many of those figures when I was younger! Core memories unlocked!!! Nice tour vid Rick!
Damn, that floor is CLEAN... so nice
Rick your channel convinced me to buy bitcoin.
This collection is sick so eclectic and all awesome❣️
Illinois! Yeah! Where I'm from.
This game room is absolutely epic!
Amazing! 🙌🏼
What? Why wouldn't you have basements lol
i wish i were as excited about something as these dudes are.
That Back to the Future skateboard was my first board!! I dont think I've seen that since the late 80s!! Wow...
I hate basements but man his basement is nice
I envy that room
Those demos are for video stores to watch and see if they wanna order it. It would go from color to black and white and sometime audio would cut out and there would be water marks as well.
Those ff8 pictures are noice.
Perfect transition to the old Sega Genesis commercial at 7:09 😀"And so it was..."🤣
10:25 - my man getting stoopy
X-Men 97 is probably one of the best shows to have come out in a long time. Watch it if you haven’t it’s incredible
Those final fantasy art prints above his tv stand are gorgeous
Tomb Raider posters and trinkets above them. Below the Mario shelves.
Amazing game room! Super cool to check out! Some epic items! 🤯

hope he has that collection insured. no way homeowners insurance will cover all of that.
Used to live in Wisconsin, Baraboo has a circus museum. It used to be the winter home of Ringling Bros.
10:12 that Futurama game looking crispy 🔥

Them TMNT toys looks fire
Pirates is an absolute fucking BANGER! One of my top games on the system as well.
Amazing gameroom! The amount of space and quality is awesome! ☝️🙌✨️
Excellent collection. Cheers!
I thank you for making this videos
8:52 really wanted to see that diablo shelf
Not sure why you said X-Men 97 was getting mixed reviews. It’s the best thing out there today and one of the best things Marvel has put out!

My life has changed because of my child, I used to be a collector too, today I'm a father :)

I still own my original 😂

This is my childhood
