I played a little bit of this game and I remember it being okay. I've been waiting for you to get to the Wolverine Origins game. Can't wait to hear your thought.
@@nordicwarriorgaming4953 Thanks! I know you can get it in the X-Men Wolverines Origins game. I tried to find videos on TH-cam for this game with the classic yellow suit ... but nothing. Just got the game. Hopefully I'll figure out how to unlock it.
Well, first of all, X2 Wolverine's revenge has nothing to do with the X-Men movies except that box cover art and Professor X voice actor. Outside of that, X2 Wolverine's Revenge is it's own game. It's own unfinished, unpolished mess of a game. Second, this X-Men The Official Game is kinda bad because of many reasons. For example, to heal yourself as Wolverine you need to do it while not in the fight and hide your claws. The problem here is that, if your health runs out during the fight, you can't heal yourself because enemies will keep constantly spawning, leaving you no chance for healing. Sure, there is a rage mode that helps you to restore your health back but even that is not enough because.. well, until you fill up a rage bar, enemies will take you out. Third, the difficulty spike in this game are frigging frustrating. I can get as far as to that stupid challenge room where Lady Deathstrike throws enemies at you in this square room, where you also have to avoid holes in the floor to not get burned AND locked in the cage that you can't escape from by any means. And thus, as Wolverine this game sucks! As for the Iceman.. well, it's just a boring on a rails section, where you are always flying and shooting down the enemies. Like, you can't even land because if you touch the ground then you are basically dead. The only missions that I like is missions for the Nightcrawler. They are beat'em up action missions, sometimes with a stealth that doesn't work but still, at least mission for Nightcrawler is somewhat fun. So yeah, X-Men The Official Game in my opinion is kinda.. meh. I wanted to like it but in the end, when it comes to playing it, I simply can't enjoy it because of the problems that I described.
We'll see how well this stacks up to Insomniac's Wolverine game.
They will probably just reuse assets from spider man if we are going by what was leaked it definitely won't be authentic
X-men Origins Wolverine the game will never be surpassed
You know I never played this game before but after this review I think ima show it som love and get it off ebay
I own this and enjoy it for what it is
hey bro just discovered your channel, makes me really happy to see this kind of content still in 2023. keep going at it dude.
Thanks I really appreciate it. Lots more reviews to come. God Bless you.

Yeah this game was pretty good. X-Men Origins Wolverine however was better.
secret costumes are awesome
This game was a 7/10
Could’ve been better with better cut scenes and maybe have ice man capable of walking, nonetheless it was a great game
Yeah I agree to be honest.
This has a bearing of a good game but my god does the skill tree suck
Can you change Wolverines costume? The yellow one for example or the old school orange and brown one.
You can unlock the classic yellow suit and the vest and jeans from the movies.

I thought this game was gr8 for its time
Same here, always enjoyed it. God Bless.
@@nordicwarriorgaming4953certainly better than the movie.
@@frankieseward8667 I agree. The movie was somewhat entertaining but the game was far mor interesting.
