What's the BEST REVO ARC Length? 13 Inch VS. 14 Inch

For you Sporty riders out there… My 2019 Roadster has 13.5” stock shocks. I’m only 5’8” with a 30” inseam and I can flat foot it no problem. I’ll be ordering the 14” for even more lean angle. I am curious if a 1/2” more rise will quicken the steering anything noticeable.

Hey there, yes, the 14" should reduce rake and make it steer even faster. The 1/2" does make a difference.

I clicked on the video hoping you would talk about what scenarios, riding style, or applications would be best suited for each height. To really figure this out I need to know how much the stock suspension sags on a 12” shock for 2021 road glide. Harley says laden seat height is 1.5” lower than unladen. But that doesn’t make sense because I know those shocks don’t sag 1.5”

Hey JonKalm,
That is super easy to do at home or in a dealership. Simply sit on the bike with your riding gear or normal setup and have someone measure from the center of your top shock bolt to the center of the bottom shock bolt on those stock shocks and minus this from the overall 12" length and it will tell you how much suspension sag you are getting. On stock 12" shocks you generally won't be getting much, especially if you are a lighter rider.
On something like the Revo-ARC you will get right at 1-1/4" sag MAX, depending on how you set the preload. Most often people tend to set right about the 1" sag mark.

For the 08 roadster you recommended doing the 2" over cartridges with the 14" rear shocks. Do you sell the longer fork tubes needed? What do you recommend and will fork tube extensions work?

Hey there-
On the '08 Roadster you would only want to use Axeo Kit 0414-0547 39mm TS kit. This will require 26.25" fork tubes. We do not offer those tubes on our website but there are many fork tube brands who do offer them. CCE, Pro1 few others.
The Axeo top cap screws into the top of the tube so you cannot use fork tube extension with our Axeo kits.
