Asking "What type or kind of suspension should I put on my bike?" is the same as a new biker asking, "What bike should I get?" - Depends on how you're going to ride the bike, where you're going to ride the bike, and how often you'll ride.
I am an old man. Comfort is the highest priority for me. I have a 2007 Heritage softail. The stock works okay. I know it could be better. I just want to set it and forget it. I do not ride agressive on the Heritage.
I suggest a couple of options , other than Legends $$ - not saying legends are not good just super pricey. First option would be "Suspension Technologies" hands down the best suspension you can purchase in that price range . I have them on my 2023 Tri-Glide , age and back issues are the primary factor for upgrading the suspension from stock - Second option would be to take a look into DKCustom suspensions. Just my suggestion and just my opinion , nothing negative on any other manufacture's .
Thank you for the information. Road Reality put suspension technologies on his Street Glide. He really likes them. I have heard of DK customs. I do not know how good their suspension is.
@@deanbedetti I checked with suspension technolodies. They have cartridges for the front. They have nothing for the rear of my 2007 Heritage Softail. I do not know anything about the DK customs products.
Would be cool if you guys came up with quick sag adjustments for the spring instead of the thread and nut. My weight changes all the time from summer to winter to 2 up and solo riding. Just a bit of a hassle and even more so if the threads drirty.
i just bought these comforts with the the revo arcs for the rear and i will say i am looking for reasons to ride even in rain or shine and i cant believe i rode on the stock suspension of my 2016 street glide it is so responsive in corners and bumps are no where near as bad as they once were. if you're on the fence about getting legends jump over the fence and get them!
I had the AVEO21 paired with air shock with rebound on my 14 SG Love the hard ridin feedback from the front. The easy everyday 2-up ridin was a little harsh. Got a 21SG now. same rear shock, but I’m sold on the performance comfort now but We’ll see when I get it back from a Skunks Works 1… build. Hard decision!!!
I ride a 2023 Tri-Glide and choose not to go with in my opinion the overpriced under quality LG suspension system. Basically, you're paying for the name. I Instead went with the (Suspension Technologies) shocks front and rear, half the price and double the felt quality. Just my opinion - However my opinion spoke to my wallet.
2018 RGS five years with front and rear legends , very happy great products..
Just wondering if you ever put out that comparison vid of AXEO performance vs comfort....
definitely need to look to see what is available for my bike. need some new fronts and rears..
Best thing I have put on my bike 👍
Did you ever do the back to back ride comparison between comfort and performance?

@hhplymouth9473 about the best you'll get, without spending Legends money is going to be Progressive Suspension.

Great product
I’ve avoided legends front cartridges because I kept hearing how stiff they are.I have a new street glide and may give these a try.
