The Supercal is the fastest bike I have ridden on XC trails. I can’t recommend Jesse, Chase and the Bicycle Station enough. They are great at what they do.
Your first video I watched was the building of the Project one blue Trek Madone and immediately enjoyed it. I'm a big Trek fan and enjoy their bikes along with their R&D.best in the game in my opinion. Don't know you from a bar of soap lol 🤣..but can just see you a humble dude! All the best with the baby and the channel, definitely worth liking and subscribing!!💯 All the way from South Africa 🇿🇦
Sick bike! Awesome video! Just purchased my first Supercaliber and I can't wait to ride it. It's the same one in the video except mine is the Crimson Red color.
Awesome that Trek offers team paint! I love the Factory Red! I have a 20SC XX1, New style Kovee Pro wheels, RSL bars and seat post, and it’s a fast rig! I’m with you, I would like Trek to update the geometry so I could buy a new one. I also have a 23 Procal SL full XTR and it’s pretty light, 22.4 lbs and just picked up a 23 Farley 9.6 with Wampas, Whiskey #9 flat bars, pro seat post, Carbon Stylo cranks, sick Fatty for sure! 👊🏼
So you ride a checkpoint 56cm and you rode a Supercaliber M? that is a big difference in stack and reach. I am asking because I would be on a 52/54 checkpoint and I ride a ML supercaliber (same body type, short legs)
I ride M/L in Trek now haha. When I got the supercaliber I didn’t know they made the M/L. Ultimately that’s why I sold my supercaliber. I had like a 90mm stem on it and it always felt cramped. My legs are really short so I always buy medium mtbs. Trek says I should be on a large and a 58cm but I wouldn’t be able to stand over them. 56 works well for my checkpoint and Madone
Do you know if the 2024 version is going to be updated? Perhaps longer travel in the rear? I see people lowering the price on private market kinda getting urge to get one and slowly upgrade… but it’ll kinda suck by the time I get it race ready Trek releases new model with major changes…
Great video. 100% agree. Its a super fast bike. I have had my 9.8 GX since 4Q 2020 and every time I think of selling it, I go for a ride I decide not yet. Very few full suspension bikes in the market with that geometry, I guess this might be one of the last ones. Only downside is the isostrut so expensive to service
My friend put this bike together for his son and before I knew it he was done th-cam.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L When the son came to put it together he was surprised to see it was already done. All he had to do was take the bike to get air and be on his way. My friend did not have any major problems putting this bike together; small issue was putting one of the brakes on straight; however when the son got home he was able to fix it. The bike rides well gears move correctly; good bike for the price. Wrote review after the son took the bike. Sorry.

Thanks Jeff!
Totally agree on the paint. I think it is awesome when manufacturers release the team colorway for fans to buy.
They do really good job promoting pro cycling. It make’s perfect sense to have team editions.
She's a beauty. The bikes quite pretty too.
this painting is legend..... i love it. i bought the 9.7 today. Its a good looking bike
Nice, youll love it
That bike is sick!
Hit us up and order one

Sick man! that color is amazing also
Really nice looking bike, and the most important thing, baby was pretty quiet
Haha wasn’t that way off camera

Nice!
Weather has limited riding on it so far but 20 miles in I’m very happy with it.
Glad to hear man!
Beautiful bike, i like it
Have you received any of the new GEN 2 models? I ordered a Supercaliber SLR9.9 XX AXS gen 2.
It’s on the way

Hi There, nice video! But im wondering about what the numbers (9,6 and 9,7…etc) means in the supercaliber familj, do you know?
9 means carbon, 9.7 to 9.8 has the same frame but the 9.8 get better parts.
SL is cheeper carbon, SLR is better carbon
Please look into the lens. Nice bike. 🎉

The bike will still work great even if there’s a new one. It’s the current winningest XC bike on the market. That won’t change
The Gen 2 is better in every way. I just ordered one.
Loved my supercaliber, but i wished it had atleast 90mm of rear shock travel

What’s expensive about it? It’s literally a normal fox float in a tube haha.
@@bicyclestation Couldnt agree more, unfortunately my local Trek shop doesnt think the same haha
Would you happen to know the difference between the supercaliber 9.8 and 9.9? Is it just frame weight?
The frames are identical just the parts are different
@@bicyclestation ah, just drive train components?
Yep
Chiếc xe này giá thành bao nhiêu?
If you were purchasing a supercaliber 9.9. would you recommend the xtr or xx1? The xx1 is $2000 more than XTR!
I’d decide based on suspension. We can definitely get you one if your interested
As someone who is looking to buy a supercaliber, why did you sell?
Gotta keep the bikes moving. I’m thinking a new bike from trek is coming soon. I road it for almost two years and loved mine
@@bicyclestation I see, any idea when we will at least see the new bike?
There’s blurry shots of it on trek factory’s instagram
cant find this bike anywhere .Trek is sold out
Send me an email, columbusbicyclestation@gmail.com. I can help you get one!
I really love this bike but i cant afford one...
