It replaces beeswax which is a harder wax that has a higher melt point. These bars are formulated to melt around skin temperature so if it’s really hot out we keep them in a cooler.
Rose jam is a lovely scent for us older ladies. It's not crazy wild...it's kinda smooth and rosey... I don't know....I just like the scent. Wholesale Supply carries it and another one called Karma(A Lush fragrance knock off) ...those two scents have my customers going crazy for anything I make from them. Ok, so the Karma does smell good and it is liked by men and women alike. Just the same I love a delicate rose scent and rose jam is that scent.
We just leave them out to set. They are designed to melt around 90ish degrees so if our house was near that temperature we would set them in the fridge.
Does cornstarch work better than arrowroot powder? You're the first makers I've seen that used cornstarch and it was interesting to see! I might have to experiment with it myself!
We haven’t tried arrowroot but I’d imagine it’s similar. We mainly went with corn starch because we use it in a few other products. We are super happy with the performance.
We didn’t share the specific measurements of the ingredients because it’s a proprietary recipe that we developed in house. We did provide the ingredients in order of amounts used. Thanks
Truthfully, it would be cheaper to ask if you can just by one of his lotion bars. The cost of all the products he used will be over 300 dollars to buy in bulk so....He probably sells his bar for 10 dollars. I'm guessing on cost for the bar but, it's expensive to make yourself. You have to buy molds and equipment, too. I made that mistake long ago....LOL. Today, I make soap but, was thinking of branching out to lotion and wanted to see how difficult things would be. For me, all I need to order is wax. But, still.....it's risky. LOL.
Hello, I have a question, does Candeilla wax to slow down the lotion bar from melting fast in hot weather?

We’ll have to check those out. We love a good rose scent and some of our customers do too!
Love the idea of a lotion bar. I'm thinking a citrus scent would be nice and uplifting. Keep up the fabulous work you are doing guys!
We have a blood orange and it’s super great smelling.
Hi do you put these in the fridge or leave it out to set
