I want to share my experience with you on this wonderful lotion. It is as you described, it is creamy, moisturizing and all that...and a bag of chips..lol! It was easy to make and the end result made me feel like I worked hard on it. My men folk, husband and sons, really like it. My husband said, "Are you selling that?" Did you make one for the house? 😂 I'm so jazzed about this recipe. Thanks a million. Blessings to you and prayers for your husband's health to stay intact.

In your body butter cream lotion recipe you used stearic acid. What’s the significance in using it in that cream recipe but not this one? I’m trying to make a thick cream for my daughter (she has severe eczema) and I’d like to use as little ingredients as possible. I really like the body butter recipe but I’m wondering if the stearic acid is necessary. If it is I’ll gladly use it but if there’s a way to leave it out, by adding more emulsifying wax, then I’d rather do that. Thank you in advance for you help!😊

    • @EllenRuthSoap

Stearic is a conditioning and thickening agent, it adds structure to the lotion.

What are the percentages used for each ingredient in this recipe? I've noticed a lot of your recipes include the percentages but I do not see it for this particular one. I was unable to locate it. It would help me determine the amount of emulsifying wax I need if I decide not to use the Soft & Silky. Looking forward to making this for the first time.
