I can't wait to try this. I have sensitive skin on my face and need an all natural lotion for my face that won't break me out or cause chemical burn. Very excited
This looks great, would it be stable to substitute some of the waterphase with a solution of magnesium chloride oil. (Just magnesium flakes in water) I'm not sure if a different preservative would be needed as it would be altering the PH.
‼Hello Bramble Berry, thank you providing valuable information! Quick question about the Quick Mix. Once blended and cooled can it be reheated to add the preservative and scent?
Please help me because I dont have a scale at the moment. So with a 10ml roller bottle and using these scent notes of green apples, honeydew melon, cherry, strawberries, & spicy pears, how much of each would be needed? I want a long lasting strong smell and the % is so confusing to me lol.
Great product. Where do we find the ratio amounts for water to Quickmix so I know whether I’m making a lotion or heavy cream? Is this information on the bag or on the website somewhere?
You can find the recommended ratios on the product pages for the Quick Mixes if you are using your full bag. You can also use our lye calculator on the home page of our website if you are making smaller recipes.
You added a preservative because anything you add water to could grow mold, does that include cp soap? You add distilled water to cold process soap but I’ve never heard anyone add a preservative to the soap?
Great question! You don't have to worry about adding a preservative to cold process or melt and pour. They have a pH level of 9-10, which doesn’t allow mold or bacteria to grow. Just another reason to love handmade soap.
We haven't used corn oil for lotion before though you are welcome to try as it is perfectly safe to apply to the skin! We suggest starting with a 70% water, 6% e-wax, 24% oil ratio.

Is it possible to translate the channel into Arabic?
