Katie!! I know you already have tons of requests but we NEED Local Honey to be a lotion🤩 You've created a scent that is pure comfort and joy🥰Love you & thank you for being an inspiration🙏❤
I have no plans to attempt soap making in any way but my goodness I love these tutorials!! I love how informative you are and also how much you acknowledge the different ways people can do things and what they could leave out if they wanted. (Please please please a tutorial on melt n pour!)
Hear, hear. Tons of useful info each time! Essential oils calculator can be so handy in other activities too! And Katie lists all her suppliers so one can get the same stuff if needed. Star anis ans orange slices can be used for kitchen decor 👍
You should! I started learning everything about it, January 22 and have made two batches so far and am full blown down the soap making rabbit hole. Highly recommend
I laughed at the clean worktable! Rest assured, friends, even making soap for over 10 years, mine is always a mess. Katie is just that good! Thank so much for sharing our resources and the EO Calc, Katie!
Woohoo!!!! Essential oil calculators were so confusing, so I really appreciate this tutorial!!! Especially since I'm allergic to a lot of fragrance oils. Thank you Katie!!!!!!😊💕 Also just want to say...The Matcha Latte soap is THE BEST. SOAP. I HAVE EVER USED. I have extremely broken eczema skin all over my body, and my skin has never felt so consistently soft. I'm so grateful, thank you for such an amazing soap. (;_; )💕
I don't plan on making my own soap, but I love all Royalty Soap videos, and it's been fun to learn about soap making even if I won't use the knowledge myself!
I didn't seriously think about trying it for a long time. Katie inspired the art side. I used someone else's recipe for a repurposed oil soap. I actually found someone using bacon grease they saved and another using used frying oil. It fits my philosophy of not wasting things better. After 3 trial batches to just try making something useful, I made a 4th "pretty" batch.
You are just such a genuine person. I love that even though you make your living off making soaps, you still provide in depth tutorials to make it ourselves. (Which is why we support you and buy your soaps)
Thank you so much for this series! I started a very small soap business at the end of 2020 and it has been so much fun. Your videos have been such an amazing resource.
I've been watching you for the past six years and I've never been this early 🙃 but hi Katie! You've been my comfort channel for a long time, I always learn from you
I work in Regulatory for a fragrance producer and I'm very happy to see the eocalc website helps makers use essential oils safely. Thank you Katie for creating great content and amazing products. I love your positivity!
You are the best! I have never made soap before but I binge watch your videos to get through the drudgery of my work day. Your generosity to other shapers and bubbly positivity are infectious!
You have inspired me! I made my first ever batch of soap October 2021, because of your knowledge and generosity for helping others. I have watched, rewatched, taken notes, and applied all of the Royal Creative Academy series to my soaps and completely thrilled with my results! I enjoy everything you do... the high tops, your themes, and the more stripped back natural soaps. Thank you for being real and making today great! **Something I'd like to learn: Soap Frosting**
I am recovering from shoulder surgery and during this time I’ve watched all your videos! I am so excited to start making soap and I’m almost there. I have all of my supplies for 6 different batches and just have to get through a bit more physical therapy before I begin. Thank you so very much for your wonderful videos!!
I don’t think I’ve ever left a comment before but I watch your videos. Thank you for teaching me how to make soap. I’ve really fallen in love with it. You are really kind and supportive. Your energy is really fun and genuine. I really appreciate you.
Om this is exactly what i wanted. Most people just want to sell you stuff and say no you cant use other stuff. Thank you for explaining the eocalc. This is so helpful
!!!!! Thank you for the essential oil calculator tutorial!! My family is extremely scent sensitive (sensory processing disorder and autism related sensory struggles) and so many fragrance oils sound great but I worry they'll veer into bad scents or be too harsh for my eczema. Essential oils are generally pretty safe for all of us so thank you!
I loved this beautiful soap! Due to work I haven't made soap in a long time & have just watched all your Royal Academy videos again to get me back into the making mood. Thank you for including essential oils and natural colorants and also the EO calculator & how to use it. 💖
I love your idea that you took and put orange peels on top with the little star anise and I love how you used natural herbs to color it with it gives me an idea of what to do with making green tea soap I think that would be a perfect idea to make the green tea soap really looks special
Hi. Just a quick painting tip. If you paint the brackets that hold up your shelves the same color as the wall they won’t show up. Big fan. Always good to see your videos. 😁🌸
So happy to find this video. I just started making soap a few months ago and I have been confused about calculating EO to use in my. Recipes. Thank you for the info on the EOcalc!
Girl you are sooo awesome! Not only are you a great teacher, explaining in a language all can understand, but also soooo cute and entertaining. I soooo enjoy watching your videos. Thanks, thanks, thanks soooo much!
I really appreciate how detailed you are in your videos and description area. I am about to try soap making for a side hustle/possible new small business❤
I just came here to tell you that someone did a presentation on your company and shampoo bars specifically in my sustainability marketing class (I'm in college) and I ordered some from you today!! I'm so excited you have such a cool business
I was just searching for you yesterday to see if I missed your videos. Then here you are popping up on my notifications today! Adore your vids. I just cracked open the April pink scrub bar on Monday. Thank you Sunshine!
I have been making soap for just over a year. I have narrowed down who I buy from for all ingredients sticking with the same three companies. Lately I am liking the natural look and no color in my bars.
Hi Katie. Thank you thank you thank you!!!! I have been wanting to find out about essential oils blends, and how to go about using them in soaps. Never knew about eocalc!!! Now I can learn on how to create eo blends. Thank you!!!!
You are the nicest person and your daughter is adorable! Keep doing what you do because it is changing so many lives. You have even inspired me to make soap videos on my TH-cam channel and you are also my favorite TH-camr.
It’s thanks to watching you make cold process soap over and over again in your videos that made me surprisingly comfortable with the process when I got in to making our own soap last summer. We have a little homestead and we raise our own pork. I found out that lard makes a very nourishing gentle soap so I found a recipe and got started. I along with my children have kind of sensitive skin so I decided to go with “all natural” fragrance oils since it’s cheaper than essential oils.
Hey Katie, I already made just a few batches of soap after watching all of your instructional videos multiple times and being a fan of your channel for a couple of years now. And I'm so excited about this video now, because I have tried using fragrance oils and they worked great so far. No allergies, no bag reactions whatsoever and they smell great! But I'm just a bit on the fence, about using FO vs. EO, so now I'm excited about trying out essential oils, and seeing whether that's an option for me. Thanks for everything! Also: just commenting to push the algorithm to do is thing. :) Your channel, and this series deserves it!
Hey Katie! Thank you so much for sharing the essential oils Calc website with us, and thank you for perfectly explaining in full details how to use it. You're a such of an amazing person. I appreciate you so much❤ Thx again😘😍
Tons of useful info each time! Essential oils calculator can be so handy in other activities too! And Katie lists all her suppliers so one can get the same stuff if needed. Star anis ans orange slices can be used for kitchen decor 👍
Yet another great video!!! I've been making soap regularly for only a scant 2 years now and your videos are so informative and inspirational, not to mention entertaining! I take away so much from every one! THANKS KATIE! WE ALL LOVE YOU!
I just want to let you know that I love that you made this video! I’m not a soap maker but tutorials are so helpful to so many people 😁 and you are so amazing and knowledgeable and so kind please keep being you!
Katie...you are such an inspirational person with a beautiful personality! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, expertise and experience. There are so many of us beginners out here that would love to make all the gorgeous soaps we see being made and are somewhat intimidated by the cost of all the supplies but this tutorial was so very helpful ❤️ and reassuring that it can be done simply and on a budget. You are the best girl!!!!
Hi Katie I love your channel and I want to thank you for giving me the courage to try making my own Soaps and I am a student from first royal academy series and I am in love with creating my own and my family is in love with my soap as well they stopped buying from the store and now my grandkids are asking me to make them soap too thank you so much for giving me the courage to try! Blessings to you and yours 🙏🏾
You are so awesome! I learned how to make soap from you. Your first three videos were excellent! Thank-you for continuing to add to your academy offerings!
This would be an amazing soap for Christmas! I'm a farmhouse/old fashioned girl and this is it. Thanks for all your videos. My kids and I love watching.
A future idea for what you can do the back shelf is that you can have a couple of sope bars that you make that are in your store and even dissplay bars that are limited time on your store mixed in with some other cluter.
I don’t make soap but I make tons of sugar scrub and bath salts. The eocal site is great for me to find new scent blends. I would like to see more tips for things like sugar scrubs. I love watching your videos in any case because the are fun and the soaps are always beautiful.
I make my own. I use plain white sugar and melt coconut oil and add essential oils. Pretty much any oil and sugar work, my first sugar scrub was raw sugar with almond oil.
I have had awesome results so far with spinach powder. It makes a bright green that so far hasn’t faded much (it’s been about 8 months since I made soap with it).
I've been wanting to make soap for a few years now but I always hesitated because initially you need to get a lot of tools (spatula, containers, blender, etc.). If you realize that you don't like making soap that much, you'll be left with all of the equipment. But now I saw that the local based online store, where I buy my oils and butters for skincare from, have soap courses. That way I don't have to do all of the research on my own and I can decide afterwards, whether I want to continue doing it.
I love the simpler rustic look. Don't get me wrong, the more intricate elaborate designs are nice as well, but this sopa just looks so elegant and sophisticated. Also, to use a plain bar doesn't hurt as much. ^^'
This is so useful since im going to make more natural soaps! I wont start until i officially have my next visa for me staying in the UK as a graduation present!
You have been such an inspiration! I finally bought my first soap molds and Micha powders! Would absolutely love to see a sugar scrub in here though, honestly great suggestion!
I loved this video, so helpful to go through the EOCALC in detail. I've been in that website a couple of times but your explanation helped a lot. I loved this soap and I may do it! I think a very useful thing would be to list out EOs that are generally less expensive so I can see what I can work with in terms of blends. Some of the blends have like 5 EOs and I am not going to do that! Thank you so much Katie :D
I would love a tutorial on how to make my own candles. I love soap, but for handmade products I usually gravitate towards candles more, and would love to know your opinions / methods.
Love this series-you’re so fantastic ❤️ Please make a sugar/salt scrub tutorial! Would live to see it; if it’s less technical to make it I might even try.
Do you keep the oils hot while you wait the few days to get the more vibrant colors or do you start out hot and just let it go to room temp and sit that way?
If ever I was going to make an EO CPS, (I have too many hobbies and thus live vicariously through Katie...) these are the exact oils I would have chosen... I can already smell it omgosh! (Runs to pull out her oils and create a matching room spray.)
Katie!! I know you already have tons of requests but we NEED Local Honey to be a lotion🤩 You've created a scent that is pure comfort and joy🥰Love you & thank you for being an inspiration🙏❤
Ooooh noted!
Please!!
Aww🥰
Yes! My teen son is autistic and this is top of his list of “safe and comforting” smells!
Where did you see local honey in the video?
Katie! Thank you so much for showing off the EO Calculator and how you use it! We sincerely appreciate the shout out for the tool. -Holly
I have no plans to attempt soap making in any way but my goodness I love these tutorials!! I love how informative you are and also how much you acknowledge the different ways people can do things and what they could leave out if they wanted. (Please please please a tutorial on melt n pour!)
You should give it a try... it becomes addictive...
I sort if want to but as clumsy as I am I know I would pour lie water all over myself and that thought scares me.
@@teijaflink2226 wear protective clothing, be careful, keep vinegar close, read on how to work with lye... there are worse ingredients out there
ever since i discovered your channel, ive been wanting to make cold process soap, so i really appreciate you making this series!
I’m so glad!!
Katie, you should totally make whipped soaps! They're so beautiful and I would love to see the creativity you put into them!
YASSS I love the way you used the orange and Star anise!! 😍😍😍😍
Thank you!!
I laughed at the clean worktable! Rest assured, friends, even making soap for over 10 years, mine is always a mess. Katie is just that good!

Hey Katie! My mom and I just made a batch of soap using your recipe and it turned out great! Thanks so much for all your tips.😊
OMG HOORAY!!
Was there green run off in the bath? Can you just use food grade spirulina and chlorella ?
Thank you so much for this series! I started a very small soap business at the end of 2020 and it has been so much fun. Your videos have been such an amazing resource.
I’m so glad!!
Recently hit my year mark of soap making. Started with your royal creative academy and now I have my own recipe.
Me too…hey classmate
Just the person to make me feel better after getting over covid. Thank you Katie!!! 🥰🥰🥰

Luv this video as always...the natural color was nice and oranges and star anise were delightful...thanks for sharing!!!!
I truly appreciate you showing how to navigate eocalc and your soap bars are awesome. Thanks for making soap making fun

I like the idea of using a cheese cutter to slice the bars. Thank you so much for sharing the website for EO info.

I just made my own soap for the first time. Its good. Thank you.
This was a great video for the royal creative academy videos. Thanks! Answers more than a few questions about EO and soap.
Thank you for this video and the information for the eo calculations. I only make melt and pour soaps, but I enjoy watching your videos!
Hey Katie, I already made just a few batches of soap after watching all of your instructional videos multiple times and being a fan of your channel for a couple of years now. Love all the details like "breaking the fall with the spatula."
Hey Katie! Thank you so much for sharing the essential oils Calc website with us, and thank you for perfectly explaining in full details how to use it.
You're a such of an amazing person. I appreciate you so much❤ Thx again😘😍
EO calc is such a great tool. It has usage rates for many different items. I used it to convert a bath salt recipe from number of drops to weight.
I absolutely love this series katie! I like learning how you teach people how to make soap. I am still begging for a storm theme soap collection!
Tons of useful info each time! Essential oils calculator can be so handy in other activities too! And Katie lists all her suppliers so one can get the same stuff if needed. Star anis ans orange slices can be used for kitchen decor 👍

Great video Katie! The bubbly, happiness in your voice is so uplifting and calming. Thank you for all the hard work you put into bringing us videos
Katie,
This is a fabulous tutorial.
Thank you for inspiring me to make a batch of soap. You are simply the best. ❤👍
You are so awesome! I learned how to make soap from you. Your first three videos were excellent! Thank-you for continuing to add to your academy offerings!
Thanks for the intro to the eocalc. I really needed that!
This would be an amazing soap for Christmas! I'm a farmhouse/old fashioned girl and this is it. Thanks for all your videos. My kids and I love watching.
I am so glad you have a video on using essential oils! I never knew how much to use nor how to find out!
Yes yes yes!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited. I followed all your tutorials. ♥️
I’m so glad this came out not too long after I started soaping. How helpful 😊
Thanks Katie. I just got my first soap mold this week and here you are with exactly the soap I needed to make.
Thank you very helpful especially with EOcalc! Appreciate all your teachings!😊
I love when you tap them colorant cups
I got Christmas vibes from the look of these soaps :) Thank you for sharing your knowledge and trade secrets with us.
Where do u get your sugar scrubs from I don't know were to get them
I make my own. I use plain white sugar and melt coconut oil and add essential oils. Pretty much any oil and sugar work, my first sugar scrub was raw sugar with almond oil.
If this would be a dark red, with those toppings. Perfect "Glühwein" soap for Christmas time. 🎄
Just got your newsletter! I am so glad themed soaps are back!!
I have had awesome results so far with spinach powder. It makes a bright green that so far hasn’t faded much (it’s been about 8 months since I made soap with it).
Katie this was very helpful! Took some of the mystery out of using essential oil!!
Made it seem easier oI thought it would be
Orange and star anise! Lovely! 😍 I am so excited to watch this one!
What a beautiful soap! I feel inspired now 🤩. Thank you for showing the EO calculator, those can be very confusing. Keep up the awesome work!
Very informational, entertaining, and interesting video, Katie! Thank you!
HOORAY!!!
Yes, yes, yes!!! Candle making! I really wanna learn that but it seems daunting.
I didn't expect it to be such an informative content, thank you so much for everything.
I love the simpler rustic look. Don't get me wrong, the more intricate elaborate designs are nice as well, but this sopa just looks so elegant and sophisticated. Also, to use a plain bar doesn't hurt as much. ^^'
💖💖💖
I love this.
This is so useful since im going to make more natural soaps! I wont start until i officially have my next visa for me staying in the UK as a graduation present!
Thank you Katie... I'm learning to make soap but I wanted to do essential oils only... So this video is perfect for me! 😊
Can you mix natural pigments with the synthetic colourants? Love this bar!
Rolling around laughing at the closed caption translation of the oil names! "Fur Needle" and "Clove Butt" 🤣🤣
😂😂💕
Katie I have an idea for the bottom shelf below the colorants. I think OVERSIZED embeds would be fun.
I always love your natural soap designs! 🍊
Ooh :) I am a soap maker myself, making a design like this, and one thing: try mixing it more! It will make a difference you might like.
How very concise. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Beautiful soap, great tips, thanks for sharing the EO info
It's beautiful!! Katie you are a fabulous, everything is so great and easy to understand. We appreciate you.
Thanks for your generosity. You are the best. Candles would be great next. ❤️
Do you keep the oils hot while you wait the few days to get the more vibrant colors or do you start out hot and just let it go to room temp and sit that way?
