Dear Mahindra, really appreciate what you've done with the Neo. But please make it look different from the TUV.. Bolero is currently an iconic name in the industry.. Those bold, rugged looks should also be present on the Neo to carry a badge called Bolero..

We dont need TUV mahindra, just put that interior and functioning in actual bolero... That will be great👍
Please get rid of that non-practical, flimsy n dull interior of bolero...
If u can provide better interior in TUV with almost the same price, why don't u update this into bolero?!

All so called sub 4 meter SUVs should have this locking differential feature. Then, it would be worthy to call them atleast a basic SUV rather hatchbacks on steriods.

Apart from the lack of phone mirroring, I like this. A cousin of mine owns the tuv 300. The torque is mind boggling. This will be good for someone living in rural or ghat areas of the country!!

The Bolero powered by the 2.6L is still my favourite one and i regret selling it. I think the TUV300 plus will suit the bolero nametag better. I really appreciate Mahindra for keeping it RWD.. unlike the Puffed Hatch Suvs.

The m-locker is very much a welcome move by Mahindra, hopefully other models will have them too.
Being a 1.5L oil burner a DPF regen system could have been used instead of an adblue substitute.
Also, absence of jump seats could have paved way for a more usable boot.

I loved TUV 300 but expected some sort of high premium touch. The Neo Looks so gorgeous than the outgoing TUV 300. But the downer is that the interiors are largely unchanged, apart from new instrument cluster and steering mounted controls at right side of steering, there's nothing new, no changes done to the inelegant looking Aux and USB placement, no automatic climate control. Hope that this Neo compensates the low sales of the TUV 300. 🙄🙄

Because without MLD customer will face a lot of wheel spin issue due to loss of traction .
This problem was very much evident in every TUV300 . Later mahindra recalled and installed MLD in TUV300

This is just the BS6 version on tuv. Since the brand TUV did not have too many takers, they just slaped on their most iconic brand to piggy back tuv sales. But i would say rather than doing that if they could have spruced up original Bolero's interior with good plastics, more ergonomic seating, a 7 inch infotainment screen with good features and speakers, a bit more engine refinenment, some funcky colour options ( like Tata's Dark edition), a great set of alloys, and on road price of below 12 lakhs for all this, it would sell like hot cakes for again another decade.

brake locking diff, because there is no additional hardware at all, it just uses the EPS and ABS units. Having said that mechanical diffs are very reliable and if built well, last the life of the car.

Good efforts trying to demystify difflocks. A performance comparison between a lower varient enabled with EBD and this one with MLD would have completed it because an EBD can also get the job done by distributing engine's power to either side of the differential equally. This way the wheel on the traction surface receives some power and help the car move. Is the later as good as a dedicated set-up, we could have found out :)

If Mahindra could have make it a little longer from the behind, it would look so much better.
The body just ends at the rear wheels and it quite looks a bit weird looks wise.
But i hope Mahindra would be saving so much money without having to design a new car completely.

All those who are calling it tuv and not the real bolero FYI bolero is still on sale and those who want that can buy it. This one is more sophisticated and was also needed. Giving it bolero neo only helps in marketing and attention for buyers which is a good thing. It's win win for buyers.plus the price difference is not that much at all. And surprisingly it is nearly 1.5 lac cheaper than tuv 300 if u do consider it as it's facelift. Now what u have to say about that. Never seen companies reducing prices. Mahindra and Tata make cars which u will only appreciate once u sit in them and know wt they are about.
