Most of the issues with the Bolero Neo can be solved by re-designing one part - the centre console. Come on Mahindra, how much can remoulding a plastic part cost? Move the central window control to the front doors like in other cars thereby creating much needed storage spaces for phones and other items. The most important addition to the centre console should be rear AC vents (this is a deal breaker for me). Willing to overlook the rather bland and featureless dashboard including the cheap head unit. Otherwise a fine vehicle mechanically...
Rear AC vents console must use full and provide Mahindra. 2nd front face change broad headlight design like bolero normal or Scorpio classic two part design projector low beam and high beam sapreat or cornering lamp give headlight design. Low baught car suv projector headlights provided base verint. 3rd is middle 2nd row 60.40 recliner flip fully foldable seat 💺 provide 2nd base model started.
Bhai bolero neo m 50 ltr diesel or 22ltr urea daltaa hai . Ek baar urea full honey per 10000km chalta hai or urea light aaney per 2400km chalti hai gadi .
I own TUV 300 from 2018 till today, and has driven it more than 1.1 lakhs KM, in Mumbai where I stay, and has travelled in more than half of India. This car is none other than TUV 300, except DPF as per current norms. So, based on my experience of last more than 6 years, I can guarantee you, that you can count this car as a long term partner. It will never blow your pocket, and will keep on giving you a good service.
My personal views : 1. Give an option of 5 seater model, which has the featues as follows 2. A 4 cylinder engine, from Xuv300 atleast, with an automatic transmission as option 3. A decent Music system 4. A rear AC vents For this price Mahindra can do it. And it will be a bolero beater for Mahindra.. it will be purchased by a segment who cannot afford Thar..
Been driving for 7 months n10 (o) model.......no issues yet ... covered 14000kms...happy customer. Those who need a rugged suv with less features can go for this. My point of view was...less features means...less things to go wrong..😊
Hello Everyone, I own bolero neo n10 (r). It has been 11 months of ownership and I haven't faced any problem yet. Vehicle is fabulous according to it's class. The mileage is unbelievable.
I bought this car while watching your video on it last September. The Blind spot is a problem, to overcome it I got a 360 camera installed and when in doubt I turn it on. The benefits outweigh the problems. And as a first car it's a blessing.
I purchased bolero neo plus 9 seater 15days ago... I love how the 4cylinder engine from scorpio with the 6 speed transmission made it so powerful... Suspension is buttersmooth... Agree with alignment issue... ESS needs a bit of getting used to... Now I automatically turn it off without stopping
Having Windows control on the central console is a good thing. Control wires would never damage due to door movement and are very safe if someone opens the door in the rain. also the passenger can control all windows that is good in case of an emergency.
I also feel central console control for windows is better than windows control specially during heavy rains you have to open the door and will take some time to close before you open the umbrella. The water may damage the switches if somehow it enters however its safe in the middle.
Modifications I did with my Rocky Beige are: 1) Tyres upgrade from 15" to 16R 265 (all 5 wheels) 2) Upgraded alloys from M&M to Neo Wheels 3) From inbuilt music system to Blaunkpunt music system 4) Replaced all the yellow bulbs with LEDs (interior & exterior) 5) Installed 360 degree camera into it 6) seat covers, cushions matting, partial silver cladding & no roof rails. My rocky beige looks more bulkier than Scorpio classic and more looks like defender
I used to own a Bolero Power+. The flaws it had, man, a whole book can be written on that topic. But...I used to feel the car would come alive once I put it on bad roads, no roads. The moment you brought up the suspension topic it flashed in front of me. But now I have moved on to a Scorpio and the experience has changed drastically. It has become far better though!

Very nice review. Yesterday and today I got to drive Balero neo plus base model. I am pleasantly surprised. Very easy to drive, light clutch, extremely good NVH etc. The mileage shown in MID in city was 14 kmpl which is impressive. This car makes lot of sense .This should also come with an Automatic.

Also the fact is when Mahindra launched the 1st gen Scorpio in 2002, they had placed the window controls on the center console and eventually with due course of time, they shifted the controls to door pads. But now Mahindra should know that public has become more fidgety about features and should immediately re-design the center console and launch bolero neo again.

I have been using from last one year with similar readings (18K Kms ) mostly in city bumper to bumper traffic: I agree with some of your findings but some I don't think you will face them in city. Clutch is hard steering settings yes not happy with it. Steering is hard too. Mileage is 18 KMS Yes Blind spots is something concerning Front row Seating positing is great Second row its stiff elder's are not happy with it. Wheel alignment is good didn't have an issue ESS stop is best feature DPF clogged happens rarely Ncap rating is also concerning But in this price range this is best compact SUV.
I just got a bolero neo N4 in black. I had an i20 and drove it for 3 years straight. Drove it on tough terrains including some highly inclined roads. But the commanding position this car has is on another level all together! I own a Thar 4x4 (3 door) as well. Have a Sonet also. Out of all 4 cars, Bolero is a vehicle that u can compare with the Thar! Cheers #mahindra ! 🍾

Amazing review!!!....I'm planning to go for the Bolero Neo at the end of this year... One thing which I observed, on why bolero neo scored so low on the NCAP crash test is that Bolero Neo was tested with 'new NCAP guidelines' when compared to Honda Amaze & Kia Carens which were tested with the 'old guidelines'. In my observation, Neo has lost more points because it lacked curtain airbags and seatbelt warning systems on all 4 seats which are mandatory in the new NCAP guidelines (mainly talking about adult occupancy safety ratings). But as you said - "better to reach late than never" is a good motto to remember. Great review! Hope i can contact you personally in case i have some doubts... Cheers to you from Bangalore!

@@Sidhupaadipantalu Yes, i did purchase Bolero Neo N10 R in end of August and already i've clocked 2000+ kms. Its an amazing vehicle...you don't really need the extra bells and whistles which other cars give if you love driving and travelling in your vehicle. Safety wise please don't get stuck to GNCAP results as those tests are only possible in a lab - you will be just fine if you drive responsibly. Test drive the car! you will enjoy the power and feel of the car. It is rugged and the suspension can take bad roads like a charm. Cornering over 80kmph will test your confidence, anyways that's not safe on any car. in a straight line on the highways and in the city and even up hill the car moves effortlessly.
While i was purchasing i asked about BS7 and if any new model is on its way, they told me that 2026 a new model might come. That's a year away and you know how waiting lists are on brand new models....
As per GNCAP bohot criteria hai like 6airbags and hill hold, child mount and many more which is not there in bolero. So that's why rating is less or else build wise bolero is muscular no doubt. Negative point main aap rear AC Vent ki baat kar sakte Thai. Anyways nice video helped me to decide to go for the car or not
Wonderful vlog 🥰.This was the much needed video amid all gloomy Bolero Neo crash test news. Amazing. 😍Well explained. We bought Scorpio N last year, but Bolero Neo/TUV 300 has been my favorite since 2015. The things I don't like in Neo is that the center console b/w the front two seats is poorly designed. Its alignment is way more lower than the driver seat, feels awkward because it is at the same level as the foot area of rear passengers, another point is the the tiny space beside the gear lever is for no use, we can't even place a phone properly, no prominent place to place your phone, some other cars in same price like Kwid and Triber have better designed center console and storage. Mahindra should've re designed that part in facelift. Rest all is ok. I love its looks and presence. Wish you happy and safe drives. 😄😄

Nice. I have few more points: 1. No rest paddle for left foot. Nor there is space available to install after market. 2. Lack of abs in rear wheels 3. The part below steering wheel it too low. I got my knee hurt many times. 4. Middle seat is comfortable only at sides, very bad for the one who seat in middle I feel and jerk and hear sound when car passing over pothole or speed breaker in moderate speed. Has any body experienced that?

Then Everybody should change,then every brand should bring their window control in the centre.

Very nice review. Yesterday and today I got to drive Balero neo plus base model. I am pleasantly surprised. Very easy to drive, light clutch, extremely good NVH etc. The mileage shown in MID in city was 14 kmpl which is impressive. This car makes lot of sense .This should also come with an Automatic.
11:30 Absolutely true. Also the fact is when Mahindra launched the 1st gen Scorpio in 2002, they had placed the window controls on the center console and eventually with due course of time, they shifted the controls to door pads. But now Mahindra should know that public has become more fidgety about features and should immediately re-design the center console and launch bolero neo again.

I have been using from last one year with similar readings (18K Kms ) mostly in city bumper to bumper traffic: I agree with some of your findings but some I don't think you will face them in city.
Clutch is hard
steering settings yes not happy with it.
Steering is hard too.
Mileage is 18 KMS
Yes Blind spots is something concerning
Front row Seating positing is great
Second row its stiff elder's are not happy with it.
Wheel alignment is good didn't have an issue
ESS stop is best feature
DPF clogged happens rarely
Ncap rating is also concerning
But in this price range this is best compact SUV.
I just got a bolero neo N4 in black. I had an i20 and drove it for 3 years straight. Drove it on tough terrains including some highly inclined roads. But the commanding position this car has is on another level all together! I own a Thar 4x4 (3 door) as well. Have a Sonet also. Out of all 4 cars, Bolero is a vehicle that u can compare with the Thar! Cheers #mahindra ! 🍾

Amazing review!!!....I'm planning to go for the Bolero Neo at the end of this year...
One thing which I observed, on why bolero neo scored so low on the NCAP crash test is that Bolero Neo was tested with 'new NCAP guidelines' when compared to Honda Amaze & Kia Carens which were tested with the 'old guidelines'.
In my observation, Neo has lost more points because it lacked curtain airbags and seatbelt warning systems on all 4 seats which are mandatory in the new NCAP guidelines (mainly talking about adult occupancy safety ratings). But as you said - "better to reach late than never" is a good motto to remember.

@@Sidhupaadipantalu Yes, i did purchase Bolero Neo N10 R in end of August and already i've clocked 2000+ kms. Its an amazing vehicle...you don't really need the extra bells and whistles which other cars give if you love driving and travelling in your vehicle.
Safety wise please don't get stuck to GNCAP results as those tests are only possible in a lab - you will be just fine if you drive responsibly.
Test drive the car! you will enjoy the power and feel of the car. It is rugged and the suspension can take bad roads like a charm. Cornering over 80kmph will test your confidence, anyways that's not safe on any car. in a straight line on the highways and in the city and even up hill the car moves effortlessly.
While i was purchasing i asked about BS7 and if any new model is on its way, they told me that 2026 a new model might come. That's a year away and you know how waiting lists are on brand new models....

As per GNCAP bohot criteria hai like 6airbags and hill hold, child mount and many more which is not there in bolero. So that's why rating is less or else build wise bolero is muscular no doubt.
Negative point main aap rear AC Vent ki baat kar sakte Thai. Anyways nice video helped me to decide to go for the car or not
Wonderful vlog 🥰.This was the much needed video amid all gloomy Bolero Neo crash test news. Amazing. 😍Well explained. We bought Scorpio N last year, but Bolero Neo/TUV 300 has been my favorite since 2015. The things I don't like in Neo is that the center console b/w the front two seats is poorly designed. Its alignment is way more lower than the driver seat, feels awkward because it is at the same level as the foot area of rear passengers, another point is the the tiny space beside the gear lever is for no use, we can't even place a phone properly, no prominent place to place your phone, some other cars in same price like Kwid and Triber have better designed center console and storage. Mahindra should've re designed that part in facelift. Rest all is ok. I love its looks and presence. Wish you happy and safe drives. 😄😄

Nice. I have few more points: 1. No rest paddle for left foot. Nor there is space available to install after market.
2. Lack of abs in rear wheels
3. The part below steering wheel it too low. I got my knee hurt many times.
4. Middle seat is comfortable only at sides, very bad for the one who seat in middle
I feel and jerk and hear sound when car passing over pothole or speed breaker in moderate speed. Has any body experienced that?
