- Yes you ARE driving. You still have your seatbelt on, you're in a live lane of traffic, and you're still in charge of your car and aren't parked. You might be stopped at the moment I caught you, but that's just a co-incidence and not a defence.
I think you knew you were in the wrong, which is why you got so defensive and angry and badly behaved. Think how much less interesting your video would've been if you'd just waved a sorry like the driver in yesterday's video. Think on how much better her reputation is, despite her also driving on her phone.

I see the driver has found this video. Would you like me to upload it to NewsFlare, who will then offer it to any number of mainstream media outlets? You don't have an expectation of privacy in a public place.
Bates v DPP 1993
"although the inside of the car is not of itself a public place, once the car is in a public place what was inside it was in a public place."
Every day, cases are heard based on what was seen on the inside of a car, from a public place.
Own your misdeeds.
Mikey, I love your stuff but you should probably edit the part where you cycle the wrong side of the traffic cones at 1:29 (delete my comment after you read it)
@@TonyEnglandUK Thanks, but no need. It's quite legal to do that. :)

No sympathy from me ha ha. That expression - it’s from Ibrahim, the young lad I work with who has Down’s syndrome. He’s awesome and comes out with some cracking one liners.

She gets away with it her whole life because she can rely on her looks to attract lots of partners
@@MostlyLoveOfMusic I don't think so. I'm 66 and have visited Britain several times. You have (or used to have) a lot of beautiful and charming women. I wouldn't even glance at this one. Maybe a drunk could be tempted.

I'd take the "young man", and she can take the six points.
Harry Enfield: "YOUNG MAN!" 😂
She's old. But not mature. 😂
Gladys & Hilda "You're the spitting image of a young Bernie Winters..." 🤣🤣🤣
Imagine bumping into Lauren Cooper. Six points? Bovvered? Yep. You'll be bovvered when you renew your insurance.
Probably doubled the premium. Many insurers will no longer touch her
"Young man" - a power move that cost her six points!
The voice of entitlement, imagine having to live with that noise.
Ladies and gentleman, this woman is what entitled looks like.
What a truly obnoxious woman. Said it before, punishments need to be stepped up; if people won't comply willingly, then force it out of them. 1 year ban and £5,000 fine; see how many risk it then.
Mumsy and Dadsy will be paying the fine, the ban will be a bigger incentive.
Given it is every bit as dangerous as drink driving, it should have the same penalty, potential for 6 months imprisonment, unlimited fine, immediate driving ban for at least 1 year (3 if convicted twice in 10 years).
I'd change the part about the bans (for both drink driving and mobile phone driving) though.
- Immediate 1 year ban with a retest required to get your license back on a first offence.
- Immediate 5 year ban with an extended retest for a second offence.
- Immediate Lifetime ban for a third offence.
I'd get rid of that "if within 10 years nonsense", and absolutely the "Exceptional hardship" option should not exist, so I'd get rid of that.
"am I driving?", yes young lady, you are.
How do these people not know its fully against the law 😂
Just remember . . .
When you think YOU are having a *REALLY* sh*tty day . . . . . . . Someone in married to 'that' !

"mind your own business" is what a rapist says when the victim complains
Weird take tbh. Not heard that before and why bring rapists into it?🤷♂
@@CB-xr1eg because the person was violated and the violator tried to victim-blame the victim. The rapist analogy is 100% analogous in every way and it gets attention to the fact that the abuser is the one causing the abuse. The lethal driver causing endangerment, thinking her actions don't affect anyone. In this case the lethal driver was unaware she was actually causing a very high level of endangerment of death or great bodily harm. Like if a rapist said "i just had sex with you, why are you complaining so much?" Endangerment is harmful on so many levels, it's not a "i didn't hit you, so why are you complaining" issue, it's an actual crime that one can go to prison for.
Oh look, there's my shadow. Let's argue with it.
"Face bothered. But is it, bothered yeah, don't think so yeah, am I geckin bothered!!" I wonder where Katherine Tate got her Lauren character from 😅😂
Typical Karen attitude. Her outfit says it all.

Nonsence
@lolitapitpong3826 No , they should , certainly when people are driving and that is EXTREMELY common.
When they think it's not other road users business, that absolutely confirms that they aren't in the slightest bit bothered about the safety of others.

I guess her first name is Karen.
Cut her some slack - she's having to drive round in a shitty 13-year-old Lexus! If I had to drive round in a shitty 13-year-old Lexus I'd be pissed off too!
Nowt wrong with a 13 year old Lexus. They’re good reliable cars. Shame about the person driving it though.
Legally he doesn't have to cut law breakers slack stop making excuses for road crime there is no excuses for her or anyone to be using their phone while driving it's illegal in the UK to use your phone while driving.
You must have started using a very good face cream lately 'young man'
It’s called attitude. It’s not flattering and denotes a low level of cognitive function. Meaning she needs to be more alert when driving not less. Maybe she’ll reflect when she gets points and a fine but I doubt it.
And hasn't he got it by the bucketful?
@@AD-nx1xdhaving trouble with your genders? Guess you’re a phone driver too

Reminded me of the actor Cathrine Tate - "Am I bothered...... Am I bothered..... "
Vicki Pollard: ‘Am I driving though? I’m not driving. Look at my face. Am I bovvered?’ 😂😂
I enjoyed this one, that will teach her a lesson in humility. What am I saying, she won’t have learnt a thing and will probably become even worse and will claim to be a victim 🤣
“Am I bovvered?”
It's good to see that the Met is taking action against these people. There have been a lot of "I have no further information" cases recently.
I hate when young people call me young man. I take it as disrespect.
That whole "whats it got to do with you" "mind yoru own business" attitude/comment has always baffled me. It just shows their sheer stupidity. It has everything to do with everyone around because its their lives that are being put in danger. Derp!
If i'm correct, you can only use your phone if your vehicle is safely parked. She was on the road with other traffic. So she is wrong whether she was driving or not.
"young man" well I've heard that being a regular cyclist can make you look and feel a lot younger than your years! Might be stretching it a bit, but I'd take it as a win! 🤣
Good that this guy reports them, should never use ur fone when driving even if stopped in traffic with engine running, nothing worse than looking in your mirror an someone rolling behind you in start stop traffic and looking down at their fone , i just toot the horn they soon look at road, uk is too soft on drivers on their fones, i think if ur caught using fone when driving or in car with engine running should be instant 12 month ban, if ur caught second time 24 month ban, an if third time 36 month ban an resit driving test and theory test, that soon make people stop using fones while driving an make roads that little bit safer 🏴👌
It would not surprise me if a lot of the females caught do not try and reverse the charges so that "young" Mikey is accused of " down topping "
The entitlement is so bad with this one.
1:17 *"Mind your own business"* I find it very strange that people who use their phone whilst driving think that it is no one's business that they do so. Don't they get that they place everyone around their car at risk, and that is why it is everyone's business.
This is why I’ve never liked the term “young man”, it’s patronising and implies you’re more intelligent for being older which isn’t always the case.
Wasn’t wearing a seatbelt either.
She was wearing a seatbelt. I accept it's a bit camouflaged, perhaps.
I got that impression too, but I might have been staring at her phone, or something ;-)
Dont think she had a seat belt on either.
I think you were distracted LOL.
A good example of a Karen at the wheel.
She called you “young man” I would own that 😂
Hopefully it was her partner sat next to her had the penny drop - she broke the law, dangerous behind the wheel of a car, she’s not accountable for her actions and incredibly rude.
She gets away with it her whole life because she can rely on her looks to attract lots of partners
With that gob she'd have to rely on the stone deaf
Karen wants to know the name of your supervisor!
Lol Patty Mayo would say these nuts.
Cop an eyeful!! .............She called you ''young man''........Remember this one for a couple!! of reasons!!..
1:04 “I’m not driving”. Oh, you’re walking, are you?
Jesus, and the comments are full of pearl clutching Karens’
She sure will be « crying more » when her Police prosecution notice arrives 😂😂😂😂
Young man ? LOL . I've seen Mikey's face. I think some older male / female (maybe a parent) has said to her previously , "Listen young lady... You blah blah blah blah blah" and she's just reversing it.
She looks gen z to me. (typically obsessed with their phone and disrespectful to adults)
Funny thing is... I had a 14 yr old female telling me off whilst being rude / cussing me out (at my ex workplace) telling me to get out of her sight and ordering me to do my task. She was just a child (minimum age) and had absolutely no authority over me. I'm more than tripple her age as well.
The same kid was also involved in false accusations against another adult male but was found out to be a liar.
What an act! She deserves a BAFTA for that performance.
The guiltier they are the more noise they make......
She had no idea which young man she was talking to, obviously! 😂

Entitled Karen having a moan.
Is it unreasonable to assume that the police aren't processing these if they're not confirming?
This one was definitely processed and I would think resulted in an FPN with 6 points.
We have Operation Crackdown here in Sussex, where the police are asking the general public to help report crimes! So it is everybody’s business😂
Mind your own business... I think my own safety on public roads endangered by reckless people behind the wheels of tons of metal and trying to do something about it is very much my business and every other road user' business as well.
The cobra neck and karen hand gestures tells you exactly what sort of person is driving that car.
Who's more distracted, someone looking at their phone in stationary traffic, or someone riding past on their bike looking through all the car windows.
Riding past cars looking into them isn't illegal....yet, but driving whilst using a phone IS!
The former
I still will never understand why people can't just keep their phone away until the end of the journey. Most journeys are
Privileged young 🤬
young man what a compliment 😂😂 nice jugs though
Billy sitch!
Getting a lot of rub for this one Mikey. All the white knights to defend the girls honour perhaps.
The point deduction system should be down to 6points and after that re-take driving lessons and theoretical. Mental capacity should be nice to be included maybe in the future because there lots of abnormal drivers nowadays
Got to feel sorry for the guy she is with.
I do wish that people like her had to appear in court. That way, they could be humiliated by having to watch your videos in front of the Magistrate and the solicitors. Sometimes, being 'shamed' in public is the only way that the message might get through.
What a rude young madam 😂

Young Man Mikey meets Miss Entitled - How dare you tell ME what to do!
I don’t know man. I do think you’re making the roads safer but you have a bit of a mean streak. If someone’s just got caught on their phone and will be losing 6 points, can you not just let her call you “young man”? I think this career is making you a little bitter. Just my opinion.
Haha rubbish. Mean streak? Bitter? lol
Mikey: "Cry more."

It's everyone's business when you're playing with your phone whilst driving on a public road.
It's all about me in the uk now 😢
Take compliments when they come 'young man'!
*flabbergasted, young man!
"whatsapp gap" haha love it. keep up the work CM !
Oh that thumbnail. Ye gods. Make me un-see it!!! Fitting for the attitude though. I think when drivers say "mind your own buisiness" it just shows how competely clueless, selfish and juvenille their thinking is. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that it is the buisiness of anyone that uses the roads when another road user is driving impaired. Clearly rocket science isn't this lady's forte though. Or common sense. Or civility. Or the laws regarding driving. Or humility. Or common decency. At some point when starring in the mirror she needs to take a good, long look at herself and not just when deciding what shade of lippy to go for. She certainly seems to be quite the expert on lippy!!! Hopefully the six points will encourage her to (re)consider the toxic manner in which she engages with the world.
Typical pain in the arse talking and talking never stops. Glad iam single and too old .
Just a question mickey, you get cars now with stop start...could the police still prosecute even if engine is off ?
Good job by the way
People have tried to argue it and failed. Your ignition is still "on" and you are in control of the vehicle, doesn't matter if the engine is running or not. If it did, electric vehicles would be a problem...
It's still considered driving, and I've a few prosecutions like that. One was FN18NND.
When were you last called Young Man. What a compliment.
I think you need to get something better to do with your life.
The idea that anyone anywhere could video you any time takes all the fun out of anti-social driving. The sense of paranoia really eats away at you.
3rd party video reporting has exploded across the UK. In London in 2022 almost 15,000 such prosecutions were started. There are tens of thousands of people videoing and reporting bad driving.
