There's a machine called the Iceman that circulates ice cold water from a cooler, over a pad surrounding the affected area. Its used for surgical recovery but athletic recovery also. Its really good.
My favorite pitcher bulldog on the mound f you attitude and calls cheaters out on a daily... good stuff Trev! Thanks for trying to keep baseball clean from bs 💯
"The key to being a big league pitcher is the 3 Rs.. Readiness, Recuperation, and Conditioning. Some guys like to ice up their arm, other fellas think heat is the way to go. But I have discovered the secret. HOT ICE! I heat up the ice cubes, ITS THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!!!" What a classic lol. I watched that movie everyday at one point.
Could you talk about what you think the future is for baseball for the 2021 season and going forward? Changes if any and do you think the fans will have to stay away from players? Thanks for the helpful tips as I am a coach and plan to carry on what you said about recovery to my team.
Good day Trevor. I like the content in your videos, and said a prayer for you this morning. Quick question. I saw you Opening Day video, and the protein shake you made prior to heading to GABP. Would you mind sharing the recipe? I'd like to try adding it to my fitness regimen. Thanks. Have a great season. Go Reds!!
Trev, I know you do MRIs after the season in order to track where your body is at after each season… have you ever done MR Arthrograms for your hips? I am undergoing hip arthroscopy recovery currently since my labrums are torn. Do you have any thoughts on hip health and baseball players?
You probably should have shut it down with the throwing. Hairline fractures generally don’t take that long to recover from. Risking damaging ligaments and tendons do to overcompensation which would be a long recovery time.
Trevor since you're a free agent next year, I strongly consider you take a look at the White Sox. They have a young, potent lineup (Abreu, Robert, Anderson, Moncada, etc) and a couple good starters (Keuchel and Giolito). Plus they have one of the best pitching coaches in Don Cooper. With your personality, you'll like the culture and atmosphere around the organization. Sure hope they're on your list of desirables. With your help, they'll be contenders.
Honestly thank you. You don’t understand how many people you’re helping by making these videos

I would personally love a video on your post game routine. Like what you do immediately after coming off the field to leading up before you go to bed
Your McGregor walk after you stuck out that dude was hilarious.

Can't wait for Bauer Bytes tomorrow on Momentum!!! Jomboy, Clevinger, and fuzzy!!!

Thanks for your tips man!! I'd love a quick video of your driveline workouts and exactly how many reps you do!
you heat up the ice cubes, it’s the best of both worlds
What about compression, such as with a sleeve, or rolling out muscles with ball (bicep, tricep)?
I would like that answered. There's a lot of bad information out there about recovery.
Rolling out muscles is good because it restores your mobility
@@redsballer1904 A little late but rolling out doesn’t restore mobility it restores and hydrate the tissue/fascia which helps make it feel less tight
@@baseballfreak3161 you right, I didn’t know that a year ago😂
@@redsballer1904 Me either been doing a ton of research in the last couple of months

Wait, is this channel the actual pitcher Trever Bauer?
You should do a pitching tutorial
What on earth does that mean
1st go REDS
I would poop myself if the 🐐 sees this
2nd go Red Sox
No running poles? Band work?
Been throwing on a hairline fracture on my elbow for 2 years 😬
It’s probably healed by now even if not correctly
