Fantastic video. Watching Trevor on Momentum and on his own TH-cam channel, I cannot see how anyone can question his love and dedication to baseball. He has said he made mistakes, he also admitted he is socially awkward and that meeting and talking to people isn't easy for him. Watching his videos you see his thought process about working out and how he goes into preparing for a start. @@BillyandtheCloneasaurus Thank you. I feel this is so obvious it doesn't merit mention, but the majority of comments seem to completely miss it: Trevor Bauer is a great baseball player and a dysfunctional human. Gerrit Cole was probably a pretentious ass in college, but he and Bauer could have learned so much from each other if either was willing to give the other the time of day. What I don’t understand is how people are thinking that Trevor needs to listen to them. Like just think about it, why would Trevor even be a professional if he needed to be coached? Obviously coaches are meant to instruct you but the only reason they are able to is because you yourself don’t know the sport as well as them. Trevor has dedicated his whole life to baseball so he obviously knows what he’s doing. The real problem is that some people don’t understand Trevor’s mindset. What I say is that if it works then it works and Trevor puts up the numbers to back up everything he says so I say we should listen to him and see him as the high level professional athlete he is instead of looking down on him for no apparent reason.
90% of the issues with him was he saw limitations of clean pitching ( without “cheating”) and called it out years ago and after being blamed as a spear head for the rise of cheating he backed off. Where the real problem is over 5 or 6 games in the 9th his rpm went up an impossible amount then a year before his big contract offer he was all the sudden throwing 3000s when before that he could rarely hit 1500rpm throws. Trevor Bauer cheated but he cheated in the way that everyone else did so instead shaking the whole sport apart they canned him so the approach to getting rid of all cheating ether doesn’t happen or happens very very slowly
I love Bauer. I think he’s made some petty and dumb choices but I think he’s a unique individual who was hardened and somewhat jaded by a narrow minded society and sport in particular. His dedication to helping kids who are bullied is a testament to his history and character. MLB pitchers, even stars, young and veteran have looked to him for guidance with their craft, which shows the obsolescence and limitations of the state of pitching coaching philosophy across the league. Let’s be real here- the league blackballed him because he was a whistleblower against the pitchers cheating. The false accusations made against him gave the league the opportunity to follow through with their desire to expel him. He was right about the league’s integrity. He was right about Manfred, who is simply an awful commissioner. There are players who have been convicted of domestic abuse and sexual assault who received next to no punishment for their crimes by the commissioner. Totally hypocritical. If Manfred and the league want to show any integrity now, they ought to reinstate him, paid his back pay, and publicly apologize to him. The Mets should sign him right now. The city would totally embrace him and once he has NYers supporting him, he will be able to fearlessly enact more change for the better. Seriously, the people of NYC will totally love him.
He's not a superstar, he had his best year when suddenly his spin rate skyrocketed while everyone was using sticky substances. He's a cheater, a bully, and a general pos.
Trevor really mellowed out and is no producing some of the best pitching science content I’ve ever seen. He’s still young enough to warrant a decent contract with an MLB team as well. Sad we will never see it.
Very well put together video. There needs to be some rule or limitations in regards to suspensions like that. No one person should have career defining power. Particularly, suspensions over say half a seasons worth of games or suspensions related to false accusations or investigations resulting in no guilt. Those suspensions should be lifted or granted a review/appeal.
Gotta love how the kids making fun of him for being dedicated to baseball most likely won't come close to the success he's seen. He literally proved them all wrong.
Just because someone is smarter than you are and does things that you don't understand doesn't mean you criticize them; it means you try to learn from them and their knowledge/perspective.
Trevor is probably the best pitcher in the world and he can’t get a break it’s sad really. I’ve been a fan since he was in Cleveland and I’ve followed him to Japan and Mexico City this year. His TH-cam channel is fantastic check it out
Astro fan and still makes me sick about their scandal, but Trevor got a raw deal and is playing out of country again, when we could be watching one of the greatest arms in my life time, and I am 64 yr old fan fanatic! LET HIM PITCH!!!
I'd also like to add Mookie Betts himself, arguably a player than everyone likes in this sport, spoke up and wanted to see Bauer coming back to the sport, just knowing how his talent is something good for the game of baseball itself. If you ask me, I don't think Bauer will be able to come back to the MLB. The world doesn't believe in second chances, are reactionary, and are hypocrites. It's unfortunate and we just have to accept that. I mean, every time his name is brought up on social media, it just brings messy commentary. Even with his name cleared, all the commentary around him just isn't worth to sign him due to opposing arguments, people won't shut up about it, even though yes, he deserves to come back to the MLB. I just hope his content on baseball, with his colleagues (who on camera seem genuine nice people, literally, just watch Momentum. Eric Sim while loud, is just a loveable big guy, and the fact that someone like him is really good friends with Bauer, really throws off the, 'unapproachable' narrative, otherwise I wouldn't think Sim would be his friend), will inspire all baseball fans and future talented prospects, moving the game of baseball forward in a positive path.
A Cy Young award winner for league minimum which is only a couple hundred thousand is always worth it. Especially now with so many teams in need of arms. There is something that prevents his signing beyond the disproven claims and him potentially being a bad influence to team chemistry. He's such a steal that I expect that the MLB (Manfred) influenced the teams not to sign him. And I hate conspiracy theories and find it very hard to believe the MLB would actually do such a thing. But this is literally unexplainable, a Cy Young winner entering his prime for under 1million? Let's be real..
@@m.o.5291 Yeah, I totally agree. It's such a ridiculous ordeal. It's hard to believe there is an unexplainable reason why 1 out of 30 teams in the MLB are unwilling to sign a competent pitcher.

The league has enough money to magically wand an assault charge on anyone… especially a guy with his reputation at the time. A guy is crossing the line by trying to clean up the game?! Ridiculous. Hope he comes back somehow someday
Bauer is a talented guy that couldn't chill and blend in. When you have a 100+ million dollar contract, you need to keep your head down and ride the wave
lets be honest, the only reason he was treated so harshly was because of his big ego and the mlb hated him for it. They wanted a reason to suspend him.
Well, he was proven right about: 1. His training methods 2. Widespread use of foreign substances to increase spin rate 3. Sexual assault charges against him were false
The literal only way to explain why he's not in MLB right now is collusion, which should be HIGHLY illegal in industry's with anti-trust exemptions. Collusion can destroy a player's career and earning potential, and they really how no recourse.
Bauers a great pitcher, but he’s unpredictable, arrogant and constantly causes controversy. No team wants to babysit an uncontrollable child. He’s always stirring the pot and biting the hand that feeds him
I like Trevor, however, he should be more conscious of baseball protocals. You don't talk shit TO other players, you focus on yourself and your teammates. Oh, don't forget the Head Up Fingers Pointing to the Sky!

My all time favorite player!! So sad he's not playing in MLB. Those abuse allegations were completely fabricated. People don't like him, and want him gone, then out of nowhere abuse allegations that lead to his preposterously long suspension. Just allegation, and Manfred basically bans him. That's so suspect. I think Manfred is behind the whole thing, he's a crook. Hope to see Trevor in the league again soon!
This video made me think of the craziest conspiracy theory. What if his original accuser was paid by MLB/ Manfred to finally get rid of him from anything and everything MLB...
Just goes to show you that the coaches are just like teachers in High School. Even if you are smarter than they are, they will ruin you because their ego thinks that a younger kid shouldn't be smarter than they are. I hate people like that, and Trevor was right 100% to do his own thing. Players are getting injured, players that are following the coaches rules, and doing what they tell you. Fu*k them. Fu*k the norm. Do your thing if it works. Eventually people will respect you, and those who do not....can be blocked out. Fu*k people in Social media. Fu*k the media. Trevor is dealing in Mexico right now, and having fun. The players love him, the FANS love him, the coaches respect him.
I'm so glad this presents Bauer as innocent and the blackballing of him as unfair. You can fairly cover a story without pretending this whols saga isn't insane.
What was done to Bauer is absolutely disgusting. You don't need to like the guy but to ruin his entire career for no reason is so F'ed up. He worked his ass off his whole life for a 1 in a million shot at pro sports. Actually made it and then gets screwed
I hope he wins his courtcase... it's bullshit how someone can just make shit up to ruin your life, he was literally guilty until proven innocent not innocent until proven guilty....
Look you really can't blame teams and coaches who were skeptical on Bauer If you're a coach and you have confidence in what you teach (and you should or else stop coaching), you're not going to trust a "kid" who comes in and straight up ignores your feedback Did Bauer "prove the haters wrong"? 100% But what's interesting about his case is that it's extremely rare for someone to have Bauer's self-assurance and actually *be right* Undoubtedly the single smartest thing Bauer did was to start his TH-cam vlogs. It allows everyone at all levels to separate his eccentricity from his ego If MLB can't handle Bauer being in the game, the MLB isn't good for baseball
I said it before and ill say it again the league wanted baur gone and when they got their chance even if it was a lie, baur mlb career was sealed. He went against the owners and manfred so he aint gonna be back any time soon

Bauer and J Ram are great friends. That ab was all fun in games.
This is why I no longer give a damn about MLB....
This guy got me back into baseball. I love his approach to perfecting his craft.
He's not a superstar, he had his best year when suddenly his spin rate skyrocketed while everyone was using sticky substances. He's a cheater, a bully, and a general pos.
aye man y’all can cry all you want that sword celebration is fireee 🔥😂 don’t like it don’t strike out
The commissioner should be investigated.
The MLB needs Trevor Bauer - but Trevor Bauer doesn’t need the MLB
Trevor really mellowed out and is no producing some of the best pitching science content I’ve ever seen. He’s still young enough to warrant a decent contract with an MLB team as well. Sad we will never see it.
Very well put together video.
There needs to be some rule or limitations in regards to suspensions like that. No one person should have career defining power.
Particularly, suspensions over say half a seasons worth of games or suspensions related to false accusations or investigations resulting in no guilt. Those suspensions should be lifted or granted a review/appeal.
Did you drop this in the MLB suggestion box 📦?
Bauer will never pitch in the mlb again, but he will coach…
Good vid. Bauer can be so good. And as to the media making up the story, it shows everyone needs as many news sources as possible.
Gotta love how the kids making fun of him for being dedicated to baseball most likely won't come close to the success he's seen. He literally proved them all wrong.
I've always been a Bauer fan since he was in Cleveland. Only individual player outside of the team I pay attention to
Just because someone is smarter than you are and does things that you don't understand doesn't mean you criticize them; it means you try to learn from them and their knowledge/perspective.
nice video
Appreciate you Noot Noot
@@Chanterprise #LiftSmallBuntTheBall KING HIMSELF. Kevin, really appreciate everything you do at Momentum both your hilarious on screen presence and off screen fantastic edits and probably videos that you produce/planned idk.
Also, (correct me if I'm wrong), you're a beast sticking it out with Trevor at Mexico! Must've been a a really unique experience.
@@NootNoot. thank you again for your love, support, and the kind words! Mexico is great. Enjoying my time and bringing the content to y’all!
The thumbnail does not look Like Trevor Bauer 😂😂
(short pause)
Ahaha, just had to delete that
The league has enough money to magically wand an assault charge on anyone… especially a guy with his reputation at the time. A guy is crossing the line by trying to clean up the game?! Ridiculous. Hope he comes back somehow someday
Bauer is a talented guy that couldn't chill and blend in. When you have a 100+ million dollar contract, you need to keep your head down and ride the wave
The sticky stuff war seems to me to OBVIOUSLY be the reason he's not in the league right now.
Trevor Bauer sacrificed his career to save baseball.
Yes, MLB will regret in the future what they did to Baur. LMB is honored to have Bauer. Justice for Trevor. he will be a great coach in the future.
Fantastic reporting!! The best I've seen on Bauer.
Dudes “The Mad Scientist” when it comes to pitching… he’s got it down to a science, let him back in!!!!!!
lets be honest, the only reason he was treated so harshly was because of his big ego and the mlb hated him for it. They wanted a reason to suspend him.
I love watching Trevor on momentum. Him shooting shit with Eric Sim and doing challenges is always super entertaining
media "highest paid pitcher"
also media "terrible pitcher"
I don't understand why the Angels won't sign Bauer. Several teams can use him.
This was awesome!!! Im a huge TB fan.. Baseball is so dumb.. its supposed to be about entertainment so i say let Trevor back so he can Entertain
Well, he was proven right about:
1. His training methods
2. Widespread use of foreign substances to increase spin rate
3. Sexual assault charges against him were false
Calling someone a nerd for being an athlete just makes no sense
The literal only way to explain why he's not in MLB right now is collusion, which should be HIGHLY illegal in industry's with anti-trust exemptions. Collusion can destroy a player's career and earning potential, and they really how no recourse.
Misunderstood by who??
WE understand him completely. MAGA 🙏🏻
Bauers a great pitcher, but he’s unpredictable, arrogant and constantly causes controversy. No team wants to babysit an uncontrollable child. He’s always stirring the pot and biting the hand that feeds him
Nu uh
Dudes still got a cannon, he'll he just dropping 19ks in a game for the Mexico record. Crazy
I like Trevor, however, he should be more conscious of baseball protocals. You don't talk shit TO other players, you focus on yourself and your teammates. Oh, don't forget the Head Up Fingers Pointing to the Sky!
Baseball is all about having fun TREVOR is aware of that he had shown dedication and love for the game, controversial so what, life its not jus playing the f...... game you love, is about doing it and have fun it is nothing wrong about that, and fuc. the none written rules. fans were missing what he brought to the game. he is great and deserve a opportunity baseball need him..
Hope he owns the Dodgers by the time he's done suing them and the MLB. If not the Dodgers, at least the Diamondbacks.
I do wonder, how many more pitchers have to get hurt before one of the 30 teams sign Trevor.
Sign him to the Jays, would love to see him play!!!
The guardians just need to bring him back and put him in the corner and tell him to talk to no one. Fucking Manfred. Honestly I hope he sues them.
If Trevor was a left-handed pitcher, he'd still be in the game.
I sure if he was a PoC, he would still be in the league also.
I wish Cleveland would bring him back!!!
If TB comes back to the MLB hes still a top 5 pitcher
any comments from Trevor????
mlb dont even deserve this man anymore
He’s hated by the mlb not the people.
Nah, plenty of people hate his guts. And rightfully so.
He should sue the league and Dodgers.
I can assure you no lawyer will support him
Awesome video man! I subbed!!!!
I hope he wins his courtcase... it's bullshit how someone can just make shit up to ruin your life, he was literally guilty until proven innocent not innocent until proven guilty....
I refuse to watch MLB until they bring him back
Dodgers could have used this dude the last few years...
No, they were fine. W Dodgers for releasing him
This isn't very different from Baseball Doesn't Exist's material...
Look you really can't blame teams and coaches who were skeptical on Bauer
If you're a coach and you have confidence in what you teach (and you should or else stop coaching), you're not going to trust a "kid" who comes in and straight up ignores your feedback
Did Bauer "prove the haters wrong"? 100%
But what's interesting about his case is that it's extremely rare for someone to have Bauer's self-assurance and actually *be right*
Undoubtedly the single smartest thing Bauer did was to start his TH-cam vlogs. It allows everyone at all levels to separate his eccentricity from his ego
If MLB can't handle Bauer being in the game, the MLB isn't good for baseball
I said it before and ill say it again the league wanted baur gone and when they got their chance even if it was a lie, baur mlb career was sealed. He went against the owners and manfred so he aint gonna be back any time soon
Trevor is bigger than the MLB.
saying it right now, hed be a great coach.. probably better than those who detracted him
Wish the Phils would pick him up.
Trevor should be signed and apologized by the mlb
