I spent 52 days in Pattaya Jan 17th to March 9th just gone and what struck me was besides the price hikes how quiet the bars were, sure there were lots of people walking about and the bars with live bands were busy and the odd other bars but in general it was dead everywhere. Walking street was packed but inside the gogo's some were empty, it cant continue like this, like u said in the video they are pricing themselves out of the market. Will be back for 60 days before Xmas, Cymru Am Byth :)

Intrigued by KTV/Karaoke bar. I guess there must be female ones as well. Why pay 350 for someone to sit with you for an hour and drink your whisky? Going rate in the bars I go to is 1,500 for 1L Blend 285 Thai whisky plus mixers and ice and the bar workers sit and drink with you in the hope of getting a cash tip, or you can pick one or two you fancy and buy them ladydrinks at 150 each. And no singing.
