I got a flight to Thailand for may it cost £525 from the UK. And my hotel is £225 for 15 nights. My taxi is 1100 baht. I went twice last year to pattaya in the space of 2 months and spent over £4000 on both holidays. Both where 14 nights at a time. Stay away from the girls and you would save a fortune. I don't give them more than 1500 baht. If they don't like it I move on. There is idiots giving girls 3-4000 baht ruining it for everyone else.
All depends on circumstances though, older gents are going to have a tough time if they are going for 20 year old hotties and offering 1500. Well unless they look like George Clooney etc
@@fkscopes not really. Years ago the girls didn't even negotiate it was 1000 baht LT. Sometimes even 500. I am 39 so I wouldn't say I'm really young. I wouldn't pay them silly money, you can still get girls for 1000 baht, as long as they like you they will take whatever you give them.

However there's absolutely no way the quality of girls I'm going with are going with 60+ year olds for a 1000 or 1500 which is what I was referring to when I said old. A 39 year old good looking with some game can certainly do great and get some freebies cheap prices etc

You're not far wrong mate with the flights, hotels and spending money. I remember paying £400 for flights and that was with Qatar airways, one of the best. The flights are the main increase which apparently will get cheaper in future. Again you hit the nail on the head, it's up to you. Whatever holiday you want you can have, at a cost. I find having quite nights balanced with mad nights. £100 a day is my guide 👍

Two weeks now until my second visit to Pattaya. My first one was less than a year ago and you are absolutely right, first thing you do after coming back is think about when your next trip is gonna be. I think I learned a lot during my short time there. Worrying about luxury accommodations is a waste of time and money, there's lots of quality hotels that aren't the Hilton at much cheaper rates. Walking Street is a rip-off, but one worth seeing none the less. After a long day of visiting bars, it's a great idea to pop into a night club - That's where the real fun begins, tons of gogo dancers come there after work to unwind and maybe find company for the rest of the night :^) I went in late March last time, got caught off guard by the heat. Hoping that January is gonna be even crazier and this time I will remember to drink LOTS of water haha. I'm splitting my stay between two very nice hotels near LK Metro, by far my favourite street last time. Thanks for your vids Welshie

My kind of holiday is a bit of sight seeing, beer bars and gents clubs. A mixture of local and western food. I dont get a lady everyday as i cant be bothered just now and again or every other day and always short time. This way i dont have to worry about my spending
Spot on Webby…! I paid 1100 pounds for my ticket. One stop in Doha. Around 700 pounds for my hotel in Soi 21 in Pattaya. Amber hotel..! Very comfortable and convenient place. Very close to Tree Town. Regarding my daily budget I tend to spend about 100 pounds a day. 4000 Thai Bath…! Obviously some days you spend a bit more and some days less, just depends of your needs. Pretty much agree, I’m over in January flight was £850 (Emirates from Glasgow) hotel £420 (15 nights) and I budget for around £100 a day so total of about £2800 ish 😜🍺👍
Webby I think you’re bang on with your prices and it’s great value. I took my two kids and my Grandson to Lanzorote for a week in August. It cost me £4500 which I don’t mind and we staid in a 5 star hotel. So in my opinion Thailand is excellent value for money. I’ll be in Pattaya on Wednesday and I’m going to go nuts. Money is no object. We’re here for a good time not a long time.
I would say spot on there. I’ve just back home to uk and wish I was back in Pattaya. In November direct Thai flight was £963 and got hotel for £25 per night. As for leisure time that was expensive but worth it.

Agree £3,000 for a two week holiday with a regular girl or going to beer bars/gents clubs. I look at it as 14 Saturday nights back to back. I don't go out in the UK. You would struggle to find, let alone enjoy the same level of entertainment for £200 per Saturday night.

Crazy how much more expensive Pattaya has become. I was there for a month in 2007 and spent £3000. A lads holiday so no holes barred, drinking almost every day and partying hard. That was hotel included and motorbike hire aswell for the month.
I don't know about pounds because I'm from Canada but I'm coming for 6 weeks and I believe my average spending will be 10,000 Thai baht per day but I don't think I'll be spending every day that amount I believe 15,000 Canadian for 6 weeks would be plenty for a really good time plus that's not including the flight Orr Hotel flights paid for in hotel well that'll be separate plus we're coming in low season so everything should be negotiable hopefully even bar finds and short time long time what do you think?
Well put together Webby for some: Just a comment for spending $$$, early/mid 80's chatting to a Brit working in Saudi holidaying every leave 3weeks in Pattaya he was enjoying himself on US$12,000 every leave, So the moral of the story is if you've got it you will spend it!!! You're not far off the mark. I went to Pattaya in November for 2 weeks, my first trip to Thailand. I was conservative with my budget in the first week, finding my feet. I loved it so much that I'm back again at the end of February! My flight from Manchester plus hotel is around £1300.00. I won't be conservative this time around! I hope to bump into you for a 🍻

I spent 10,000€ on two trips to Pattaya and Bangkok, totaling 35 days there. I mostly visited go-go bars and nightclubs, running trough girls. I know it's alot, but I can afford it and wanted to experience a lot on my first two visits. You can definitely have a great time for less money if you choose to.

Have you stayed at opey de place before? It hasn't changed in about 20 years. There is a hotel around the corner sutus Court. Sutus Court 1 is around 700 baht a night big rooms 2 swimming pools a bar and restaurant.
From Toronto Canada. Flight $1800 return. Hotel was $1000 for 3 weeks. Food I lost count, but about $600 to eat like a king with girls. $1000 for best 3 weeks ever. USD. 2018 price. See you next year
Think you are spot on. £3k is a good starting point for 2 weeks. Which is pretty crazy when you think 10 years ago people were coming out with a few hundred quid in their pockets and spending a month here!! I had mates who would come over xmas and new year and get reasonable hotels for under £10 a night. Like you say now its 3 times that. I am in BKK and dont splash the cash but struggle to spend less than £3k a month.

They can drink for fun eat all day long always wanting most put it that way. I think u could easily do in 5000 bhatt a day 2 of you... You about right mate you cut your cloth accordingly. Last year I stayed in jomtein over Xmas new year 2 months. Airbnb nice 510 pounds all. 5k bhat a day spends had busy mad ones and quiet ones. Flights were with Austrian 800. The flight costs is the one that's causing issues
@@andrewlawrence3268 flights out of Manchester are expensive and I don't like flying so have picked shortest duration. Could've paid £750 but would've been lengthy stops at dubai or 3 flights with lufthansa totalling 25 hrs. Using agoda to select hotels, £20/night gets you decent accommodation in Thailand. I'm travelling about so will pay less in some towns which allows me to pay more when I'm in the tourist hot spots. Also eat where the locals eat. Better quality food at half the price. 3000 baht for 4 weeks motorbike rental saves on travel expenses and the big saving comes on not being interested in hookers.
5 months after the making of this video my flight for this coming Christmas is £1,500 direct from Heathrow (pre co vid the same flight on the same day never went above £600 for years), the decent hotel for 3 1/2 weeks is £1,000 (pre co vid the same hotel never cost more than £450ish). So what used to cost between £1k and £1.2k now costs approx £2.5k. Then you have to add the spending money, total cost inc flight, hotel and spending money in the region of £5.5 to £6K if going bonkers in the gogo's or maybe £5kish if going to bars and GC's. But living there could get by and live well for £1.5 to £2k.
I got flights for just under £700 going to buriram for a week so flying there that was another £200 hotel out there was around another £200 staying at the buriram united hotel then back to pattaya for 12 days staying at the atlantis condo resort and that cost me £230 and I'm looking at taking around £3000 but doubt I'll spend all that I'm not a heavy drinker and I like eating at the local places for food as I love trying all the thai food
Flight+hotel i paid £1.7K and my daily spending was 8K a day for 2 weeks. I was a butterfly got girls everyday. Overall holiday cost me i think £3.8K and i never rang a bell, went to a few Gogos not many but i spent a lot on lady drinks in the bars.

Flight Business Class ex Ams £2000, bolt taxi to pattaya 1200 (£25) MONTHLY TRAVEL INSURANCE FROM REVOLUTE £45. 1 month condo on the dark side with pool. a/c 6000 baht (£130) Scooter hire 2500 BAHT (£55) fEMALE COMPANY FROM Thai friendly 1200 per 2 hour session or 2500 LT average 2000 baht per day X 30 days = 60000 (£1300). I do not bother drinking in bars, so I do not spend on LD or BF food, Beer from 7/11 and petrol 500 baht per day (£325) So my monthly budget is £3900 per month however if I stay 2 months like I usually do the budget for my 2nd month is around £1900 be cause I don't need to facter in the flight cost for the 2nd month

I think You've hit the Flight+Hotel+Transport at £1.5k on the head. Holiday girlfriend holiday I've done plenty and I spend around £1k a week plus whatever you want to treat her to at the end. So I think that holiday is a bit more like £3.5-£4k for 2 weeks. The Bell Ringing and Gogo Holiday....... I think is waaaay more than £5k. 10k baht a day doesn't get you ringing bells in gogo bars and a lady. one bell can be 3k in those places easily. My holiday in January is going to be a 2 weeks in Pattaya and 4 days in Chiang Mai. Forgetting the Chiang Mai days I reckon I'll spend 10k baht a day in Pattaya Beer Bars, without ringing bells, assuming whenever I buy a drink, I'll be buying a lady drink too and I'm never alone. I think the £5k budget for 2 weeks is the norm now.

With entertainment it is only ST for me these days [your option 3). I beleve you have nailed it with the cost. Pattaya is still top 3 on my list of holiday destinations.Pattaya, Angeles City and Cartagena de indias in Colombia is my current top 3. We keep hearing Thailand (pattaya) is getting expensive. The girls aren't always better looking and don't care about price or you ! Lots of lovely ladies elsewhere from 1000 baht and £400 bar fine ! My hotels averaged £18 a night ( 4 hotels ) ! Depends how fussy you are , mine where good !
I would say for a 2 week vacation of drinking, women and eating...to be prepared to spend at least 5,000 - 7,000 baht a day. That's for heavy alcohol consumption, a few lady drinks (and what "comes" afterwards), a steak dinner, and maybe a foot massage LOL

In my personal experience, it can cost more money having a 'holiday girlfriend' than going to gentlemen's clubs. Remember, if you have a 'holiday girlfriend', you will need to pretty much double your daily expenses.
I make it a rule if i have a blow out day then next day is budget day that way i keep it real. Every day is different some days you need a quiet time no booze no girl i go see a movie have a swim maybe a trip to Koh Larn.
There is more than pattaya than just being a sex tourist! I enjoy the atmosphere, playing pool meeting new people, maybe going with the odd girl, so £200 a week is more than enough

My kind of holiday is a bit of sight seeing, beer bars and gents clubs. A mixture of local and western food. I dont get a lady everyday as i cant be bothered just now and again or every other day and always short time. This way i dont have to worry about my spending

Spot on Webby…! I paid 1100 pounds for my ticket. One stop in Doha. Around 700 pounds for my hotel in Soi 21 in Pattaya. Amber hotel..! Very comfortable and convenient place. Very close to Tree Town. Regarding my daily budget I tend to spend about 100 pounds a day. 4000 Thai Bath…! Obviously some days you spend a bit more and some days less, just depends of your needs. Pretty much agree, I’m over in January flight was £850 (Emirates from Glasgow) hotel £420 (15 nights) and I budget for around £100 a day so total of about £2800 ish 😜🍺👍

Webby I think you’re bang on with your prices and it’s great value. I took my two kids and my Grandson to Lanzorote for a week in August. It cost me £4500 which I don’t mind and we staid in a 5 star hotel. So in my opinion Thailand is excellent value for money. I’ll be in Pattaya on Wednesday and I’m going to go nuts. Money is no object. We’re here for a good time not a long time.

I would say spot on there. I’ve just back home to uk and wish I was back in Pattaya. In November direct Thai flight was £963 and got hotel for £25 per night. As for leisure time that was expensive but worth it.

I look at it as 14 Saturday nights back to back. I don't go out in the UK. You would struggle to find, let alone enjoy the same level of entertainment for £200 per Saturday night.

Crazy how much more expensive Pattaya has become. I was there for a month in 2007 and spent £3000. A lads holiday so no holes barred, drinking almost every day and partying hard. That was hotel included and motorbike hire aswell for the month.

I don't know about pounds because I'm from Canada but I'm coming for 6 weeks and I believe my average spending will be 10,000 Thai baht per day but I don't think I'll be spending every day that amount I believe 15,000 Canadian for 6 weeks would be plenty for a really good time plus that's not including the flight Orr Hotel flights paid for in hotel well that'll be separate plus we're coming in low season so everything should be negotiable hopefully even bar finds and short time long time what do you think?

Well put together Webby for some: Just a comment for spending $$$, early/mid 80's chatting to a Brit working in Saudi holidaying every leave 3weeks in Pattaya he was enjoying himself on US$12,000 every leave, So the moral of the story is if you've got it you will spend it!!! Which I found was usually my case, "Once you Start Just can't Stop"Over the years the Brit married a Thai had 4daughters & eventually established an English Style Pub.

I spent 10,000€ on two trips to Pattaya and Bangkok, totaling 35 days there. I mostly visited go-go bars and nightclubs, running trough girls. I know it's alot, but I can afford it and wanted to experience a lot on my first two visits. You can definitely have a great time for less money if you choose to.

Have you stayed at opey de place before? It hasn't changed in about 20 years. There is a hotel around the corner sutus Court. Sutus Court 1 is around 700 baht a night big rooms 2 swimming pools a bar and restaurant.

Think you are spot on. £3k is a good starting point for 2 weeks. Which is pretty crazy when you think 10 years ago people were coming out with a few hundred quid in their pockets and spending a month here!! I had mates who would come over xmas and new year and get reasonable hotels for under £10 a night. Like you say now its 3 times that. I am in BKK and dont splash the cash but struggle to spend less than £3k a month.

Hi welsh webby Dave been listening to this video and your correct on what you need to be thinking about spending. On holiday 1 with a girlfriend to have along definitely 4000 bhatt is bang on.. They can drink for fun eat all day long always wanting most put it that way. I think u could easily do in 5000 bhatt a day 2 of you... You about right mate you cut your cloth accordingly. Last year I stayed in jomtein over Xmas new year 2 months. Airbnb nice 510 pounds all. 5k bhat a day spends had busy mad ones and quiet ones. Flights were with Austrian 800. The flight costs is the one that's causing issues
@@andrewlawrence3268 flights out of Manchester are expensive and I don't like flying so have picked shortest duration. Could've paid £750 but would've been lengthy stops at dubai or 3 flights with lufthansa totalling 25 hrs. Using agoda to select hotels, £20/night gets you decent accommodation in Thailand. I'm travelling about so will pay less in some towns which allows me to pay more when I'm in the tourist hot spots. Also eat where the locals eat. Better quality food at half the price. 3000 baht for 4 weeks motorbike rental saves on travel expenses and the big saving comes on not being interested in hookers.
5 months after the making of this video my flight for this coming Christmas is £1,500 direct from Heathrow (pre co vid the same flight on the same day never went above £600 for years), the decent hotel for 3 1/2 weeks is £1,000 (pre co vid the same hotel never cost more than £450ish).
So what used to cost between £1k and £1.2k now costs approx £2.5k.
Then you have to add the spending money, total cost inc flight, hotel and spending money in the region of £5.5 to £6K if going bonkers in the gogo's or maybe £5kish if going to bars and GC's.
But living there could get by and live well for £1.5 to £2k.
Christmas flights are always expensive, agogo are a rip off, people need to move to gentleman's clubs for sure

I got flights for just under £700 going to buriram for a week so flying there that was another £200 hotel out there was around another £200 staying at the buriram united hotel then back to pattaya for 12 days staying at the atlantis condo resort and that cost me £230 and I'm looking at taking around £3000 but doubt I'll spend all that I'm not a heavy drinker and I like eating at the local places for food as I love trying all the thai food

Flight+hotel i paid £1.7K and my daily spending was 8K a day for 2 weeks. I was a butterfly got girls everyday. Overall holiday cost me i think £3.8K and i never rang a bell, went to a few Gogos not many but i spent a lot on lady drinks in the bars.

For me the budget for one month is as follows. Flight Business Class ex Ams £2000, bolt taxi to pattaya 1200 (£25) MONTHLY TRAVEL INSURANCE FROM REVOLUTE £45. 1 month condo on the dark side with pool. a/c 6000 baht (£130) Scooter hire 2500 BAHT (£55) fEMALE COMPANY FROM Thai friendly 1200 per 2 hour session or 2500 LT average 2000 baht per day X 30 days = 60000 (£1300). I do not bother drinking in bars, so I do not spend on LD or BF food, Beer from 7/11 and petrol 500 baht per day (£325) So my monthly budget is £3900 per month however if I stay 2 months like I usually do the budget for my 2nd month is around £1900 be cause I don't need to facter in the flight cost for the 2nd month

Holiday girlfriend holiday I've done plenty and I spend around £1k a week plus whatever you want to treat her to at the end. So I think that holiday is a bit more like £3.5-£4k for 2 weeks.
The Bell Ringing and Gogo Holiday....... I think is waaaay more than £5k. 10k baht a day doesn't get you ringing bells in gogo bars and a lady. one bell can be 3k in those places easily.
My holiday in January is going to be a 2 weeks in Pattaya and 4 days in Chiang Mai. Forgetting the Chiang Mai days I reckon I'll spend 10k baht a day in Pattaya Beer Bars, without ringing bells, assuming whenever I buy a drink, I'll be buying a lady drink too and I'm never alone.
I think the £5k budget for 2 weeks is the norm now.

its hard to give a figure as everyone is different, flight hotel and food is generally the same but, beer and girls is where my budget goes, and lets face it i go to pattaya for the girls so take advantage of it when i,m there, normal holiday would be beer and afternoon st on the 6 or a gents club then a lt back to the room each night, i,m not a bell ringer but do buy lady drinks, so £3000 would be about right i usually take more but like to bring some cash home, and to be fair how much would you spend on a 2 week beano with the boys drinking and partying in ibiza or wherever, (i've got too old for that now and don't enjoy night clubs anymore) some of the younger boys i know are spending well over £2000 for their summer jolly's on the med, so i know where i would rather be,

Good video to get people talking ! I got back a month ago and averaged £100 a day with different ladies ! My advice would be avoid go go's like the plague! The girls aren't always better looking and don't care about price or you ! Lots of lovely ladies elsewhere from 1000 baht and £400 bar fine !

In my personal experience, it can cost more money having a 'holiday girlfriend' than going to gentlemen's clubs. Remember, if you have a 'holiday girlfriend', you will need to pretty much double your daily expenses.
