  • I've always felt that the G.I. Joe comic (A Real American Hero) storyline told the absolute best stories of the franchise. Since the movies can't get it right, I've decided to redo the comics with dialogue, sfx and music.
Issue #3 see the Joes capture a seemingly destroyed Cobra robot....only to have it come back to life deep in the heart of the PIT! Will the Joes defeat the robot before it can signal Cobra Commander? Tune in to find out!

I can't believe I just discovered your GI Joe vids. AWESOME. Will you be doing the "Hot Potatoe" story from issue #1 ?

Thanks for tuning in! I’d like to cover the Hot Potato episode, but I don’t have a digital scan of that one. I’ll have to keep looking.

These are so good. A new way to enjoy issues I read over and over as a kid. The voices are great. Except Destro, too much computer manipulation. Great work!

My pleasure! Yeah, it’s kind of nice having those issues with just one storyline to follow.

Awesome! LOL, I know this is Issue #3, months/years before the real heart of the run starting at issue #21 (Silent Interlude) begins but at 6:02, when Stalker asks Flash why "Snake Eyes volunteers to clean all the weapons himself." This seems to be a bit of continuity error. Stalker's and Snake Eyes' history goes all the way back to their Vietnam days especially during that fateful LRRP mission when only three of them survived. Stalker should know why. Hoping you get to do the Cobra Island storyline when the Joes fight for control of the island.

Just wait til the next issue when Stalker's name was Ranger! I think in those first few issues, they were really still just figuring things out.

@@dshay7gamingandcomics I think you're right, about figuring things out. By issue 11, Hama really started to hit his stride with the series, with the much more ambitious Dr. Venom storyline.

@@dshay7gamingandcomics That storyline from issue 11 to 19 or so, was what really hooked me into the series.
