G.I. Joe Comic Issue #4 *Almost* Animated! (w/sfx, music & dialogue!)

- I've always felt that the G.I. Joe comic (A Real American Hero) storyline told the absolute best stories of the franchise. Since the movies can't get it right, I've decided to redo the comics with dialogue, sfx and music.
Issue #4 is quite unique, given that the enemy is not Cobra, but rather a radical, para-military extremist bent on World War 3! Hawk and Grunt infiltrate the compound and play a huge role in bringing the organization down. We also see Snake Eyes utilize his skills as Commando rather than a Ninja, which would be the focus of so many issues later on. We also get to "hear" Snake Eyes' voice!

Never even thought about that…a Winfield figure would have been cool! As I made this video, I started thinking it would have been cool for Wingfield’s wife or kids to make a return years later, either as Joe friends or foes.

In the scale and articulation of the 25th Anniversary and onward figures, I made myself a custom Vance Wingfield (his mustache was difficult! I eventually used needle-nose pliers and bent a tiny piece of wire). I have yet to make analogues of Hawk and Grunt in rust-colored uniforms. If I do, I'd almost better make Carruthers and Shary Wingfield, as well.
Props for giving a voice to S.E.'s internal monolog. Now I know why you were gone for so long. You were out creating content.

Yeah, it was tough to imagine what he might sound like. I'm sure we all hear him differently in our head. But at the end of the day, he's just a regular American guy, so I just tried to build off that.
