Check out the tutorial showing you How to Install and Use the UE CC Control Rig to Edit Facial & Full Body Mocap CC4 & iClone Characters: th-cam.com/video/zU9mSPE_Mjg/w-d-xo.html
I used the iClone Unreal Live link to send the character to UE, and if you have the Unreal CC Autosetup plugin installed as well, it does the conversion much better than the straight FBX export from iClone. Is that what you used?
@@SolomonJagwe I used the Autosetup, then I migrated it from one proj to another. I forgot to check Morph targets so this is the mistake. However, my animation still doesn't look as good as yours!!! waaaahhhh!!!
@@beyondcinema I'm getting the same problem! In the demo file iClone has with "Kevin" it works great, but any other character I use, it seems as though it's missing a lot of facial movements. I'm unsure how to correct this. It's especially annoying because on the Kevin model it works great. So there's gotta be some kind of setting that's missing somewhere. Not sure if it's in CC4/iClone or UE. Quite frustrating!
awesome work... will this work with stylized cc4 characters as well? I have a project I am creating where I want to use MH animator but I lose the large scale "pixar style" eyes of my character mesh if I use metahuman creator. so this workflow would be perfect. thanks again
Great video sir. I have a question in my mind. Could you please tell me if control rig provides any benefit over CC4. I use audio2face for face in iclone and iclone animation library for body. Then transfer it to Unreal via Live Link and Auto Setup. How does the new contol rig plugin add value to it?

Your video shines brilliantly, a masterpiece of visual artistry.
No cap Daz needs to implement something like this.
I look forward to it as well. For now the workflow is to send the Daz Model to CC4, using the Transformer tool, then to UE
Thank you Solomon! Amazing tutorial!!
You are welcome :)
Awesome pipeline workflow. Many Thanks.
thanks for doing this, I was working my way through the process when I caught your tutorial... thanks
My animation doesn't look that great once transferred over. When you imported your CC4 character, you have to tick on Morph targets?

Thank you! Yes, as long as they are based on the mesh from CC4, either the realistic or cartoony models.
@@SolomonJagwe This truly is a game changer... great work my friend... I look forward to your next video
Thank you so much!!
Very Cool
Thank you :)
This is great, but can ARKit be used live to animate the faces?

Hi.. could you show how it looks on the render...

@@SolomonJagwe rey tracing..
How did you download all those software with necessary plugins for free?
You need to setup a reallusion account.
i love u
Metahuman sucks, they only give ugly characters to start with. Super-woke.
Your video is good but don't waste our time making lame videos> make to the points> fast professional videos
