Great video as always. Iclones integration with Unreal Engine is a ship everyone will eventually come on-board. It is most seamless. It is everything every 3D artist wanted. However chaos cloth simulation have been alittle bit challenging. I will really appreciate it if you could show a workflow of Character creator character with chaos cloth simulation inside of unreal Engine 😊.. That will be so helpful. Thank you for all you do for us in this channel.
Another good video from you. With this update does extended morph animation get transferred to UE through live link now? This wasn’t working for me before, so I had to collect animation, and export via CC4
Thank you!! Yes, it sends all the facial and full body mocap on the ActorGroup characters to the Unreal Engine. They are still working on the Live Link plugin for Unreal Engine 5.5
@SolomonJagwe Is the workflow completely different if I want to use the CC Control Rig to make some adjustments to my animations? When I do this and then apply my CC Control Rig the character's origin gets all messed up.
I think it's better to make all the adjustments in iClone for a smoother integration, especially for crowd setups. For single characters, yes, you can use the CC Control rig.
Can you edit the materials of the clothing in UE5 and then bring the character back to character creator to use later? I found some good meshes and dressed my character in CC4, but I 'm not sure that I can repaint the whole character in there as apposed to in UE5. Have you had any experience with this?
Putting these CC4 extras type Actorcore characters in Unreal's realistic environments, with cameras sharpened on their faces just kind of highlights how low res they are. They use 3D scans that you can find on CGTrader that must have been made like ten years ago. So weird that Reallusion can't get over the hurdle of uncanny valley unreal-ism to level up their characters. When you see what people are making in Blender, photo-real human characters, it kinda makes you wonder if they aren't just squeezing the last of their audience before everyone catches on and Blender humanoids become more streamlined to make and eventually take over. If it's anything Reallusion has to offer, it's some of the mocap in the Actorcore library. Otherwise, it's all just kinda last-gen video game level fidelity.
You can Download iClone 8: bit.ly/2QUkwXr and Download the Free iClone Unreal Live Link Plugin at: bit.ly/3oZnDKb
is the plugin on free for trial ? iClone Unreal Live Link Plugin
That's cool idea, having mini conversations going on throughout this Italian square ... would make a great short film!

The calm and life before the battle of cinematic history and about to happen. All from the barista to the octogenarian with the M4 and the RPGs.

What bundle again did you use for the sitting or discussing
I used the home life and city life. You can see some good bundle black Friday sales at this link: rebrand.ly/c04tlle
Can this work on cartoon characters stylised characters
The crowd tool is in Iclone natively or it's an addon ?
It's part of iClone 8.5. But the content is for purchase.
@SolomonJagwe thank you.
Thanks for the great video as always! Can this methoed be used for Unreal 5.3?
Thank you! Yes it can.

@@SolomonJagwe Thanks bro! Keep up the great work 🌟

It's not a smooth workflow from UE to CC4. I think its better to update the materials in CC4, using Substance, Zbrush or Blender.
@@SolomonJagwe I came to a similar conclusion. Thank you, Sir!
Does Unreal Engine already have its own animals characters? Or do we have to make it from scratch?
It doesn't come with native animals. But they do have some free animal characters on the FAB market place.
@@SolomonJagwe is there any way to use iclone or blender animals in UE5
Hello Mr. Salomon. I want to use unreal engine version 5.5 with iclone becasue of the new update. Is there a solution?
The UE 5.5 plugins for iClone are not yet ready. Reallusion is still working on them

These particular characters are intended mainly for background character use, and for crowd simulation.
