Map light procedure didn’t work for me. I got the lens off. However when I tried to insert the new bulb, the housing pushed all the way in. Now I need to pull the whole housing unit down, but I’m scared I’m going to break it. It is super tight. 2020 GT
@@PrecisionLED Thanks, I finally got them installed without breaking the unit. I had to use two trim tools one on each side to get the lighting assembly down. If you pull the assembly down a bit, just enough to look inside, you can see how the clamps are holding it together. While trim tools held it down, I then inserted a third small trim tool to push the pin release tabs on each side. Then it came down. Much easier to do it this way without putting so much stress on the unit and potentially breaking it.
thankyou very much! It was very helpful for me to change the leds by myself
Thanks for watching!
