Hi, i want to install it in these places and also the doors without open console or panels , so can you provide me any video for this or what you recommend the way to install ? thanks.
Hi amr fahmy! the same techniques I showed on the video can be applied on other places on the car. Some cars are easier than others and also depending on the placement some panels will have to be removed and in some cases they won't have to. The best recommendation I can give you is to scout the car for the areas you want the lights to be on and then determine the difficulty on getting the lights there, depending on the amount of labor required the installer may suggest alternate places to keep the cost down or continue with the requested location if labor cost is not an issue. Hope this helps, Cheers!
Out of curiosity I saw that the floor ambient light and the led strips were made by separate manufacturers, is the app that the use/blue tooth they use link the two together or the same application? May be something you’ve touched up on but I didn’t see anything regarding it rewatching both videos, In the first you said they just linked up what was that process by chance?
Hi Leviti! correct you can technically mix and match some components since the APP that a lot of this RGB kits use is a generic RGB LED app. Regarding linking them, this is all done by app automatically when you pair each LED bar to the your phone. I may make a video on the APP if there is enough requests for this but for the most part is very easy to use and self explanatory. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
Hi Carlos! yeah the install wasn't too bad at all, ah yes for the mount here is the full review th-cam.com/video/nQiUbQP82yE/w-d-xo.html it comes from a company called Proclip, unfortunately they don't sell them on Amazon but you can get them directly from them www.proclipusa.com/ Hope this help, Cheers!
Hi Tbrick! If your cigaretter lighter port turns off and on when you turn on and off you car, then the RGB kit will come on and off with the car (so it will not drain you car battery, this is how mine is setup). And if your plug is always on even when the car is off then you will have to turn off the lights manually with the power button on the power adapter or using one of this one amzn.to/3BofzJI to control the lighter port manually and ensure the lights turn off and not drain your car battery. Cheers!
Hi Ronnie! Yes, that can definitely be done, just really depends on how the customer wants it to be installed (some prefer hardwire, some the cigarette lighter adapter plug) Cheers!
I like what you did, but by using the cigarette ports, your lights are constantly on and unnecessary during daytime driving. Can you make a video where you hardwire the lights to your auto headlights?
Thanks Sean! Ah remember there is an On Off switch directly on the power plug or additional they can be turned Off or On with the App. But yes, when requested by the customer, some installers will hardwire the kit to the vehicle (depending on how the installer connects it, it can be switched on with a separate switch or with the car coming on). And here is my full review for the lights so you can see how they work th-cam.com/video/vWKoJN38-Ro/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
@@AlexAutoFun Alex thanks for the feedback but I think you misunderstood me. I wish to hardwire it so that these lights only turn on at night when it gets dark like my headlights.
@@seanjones5682 You're welcome Sean! So far I have not heard of a sensor that can wired to have it come on based on daylight and nightlight (would probably have to be to some type of photoelectric sensor) but I imagine it may be possible for an advanced installer to do this. Most will only connect it as mentioned earlier, to either come on and off with the car or they could be controlled additionally with a switch or the App (for those desiring manual control). If I ever do see an install using a ambient light sensor I will update this comment for you. Cheers!
Hi Parker, you can see the routing at the 4:15 mark. The cables are hidden underneath the center console, once they reach the front of the car, one set of cable goes to left and the other set of cables goes to the left. If you want to see underneath the actual passenger side and driver side footwell, you can see that on my other video here th-cam.com/video/LahW9J1TkCw/w-d-xo.html at the 10:15 mark (how the wires and lights are secured to the bottom of this area varies from car to car and also the method the installer prefers, some zip tie the cables to other existing cables in that area and some zip tie the cables directly to different parts of the car that are in the mounting area). Hope this helps, Cheers!
Im curious. I have the same model and want to install in the same placements you did yours. My 2 questions are is the drill method necesarry for the drivers side panel? And, for someone with no experience in doing these kind of projects, should i try this myself or get a professional to do this?
Hi Jose! nope the drill method is optional, as I explained in the video, it just depends on the look you are trying to achieve and how much detail the installer wants to put in the installation (some prefer to bring the fiber optic cable from under the panels, other prefer to drill holes for cable) Hope this helps and thanks for watching bud!
@@DoTheCrunk Hi Matt! I think installation difficulty will vary depending on the look you are trying to achieve (you can get an idea of the install process on this video to see if it looks difficult or easy to you) and but some people do prefer to use an installer (installers have experience pulling panels and routing wires) if installation cost is not a concern. Hope this helps and thanks for watching bud!
@@DoTheCrunk hi Matt. I was reluctant to try this myself as I drive a 21 corolla as well. My center console didnt come out as easily as in the video but this was also my first time doing a project like this but after some wiggling and elbow grease, each panel came off just like in this video. Probably the hardest part was feeding the led lights through the center console and up the side panel but I have pretty small hands so i managed to do this without completly opening the sides. One thing I did do differently was not create a hole in my armrest compartment and fed the cable under the center console and made the cigarette lighter charger cable be exposed. My armrest already was designed with a hole there so I avoided doing any permanent alteration. I also fed 2 led strips to the backseats but due to the material of the seat, the 3m strip doesnt stick. Took me roughly 3-4 hours doing each bit by bit rewatching this video 100 times lol.
@@JoseCooks but, you did it. And I bet you feel a hell of a lot better about it knowing you did it yourself and didn’t pay someone. All those painful frustrating hours turns to bliss when you hop in the car at night and click that red button 😂
Hi Ray! If your cigaretter lighter plug turns off and on when you turn on and off you car, then yes the lights will come on and off with the car. If your cigaretter lighter socket stays on all the time (even when the car is off) then the lights have to be turned off manually with the switch in the power plug or by unplugging the power adapter. Here is the full review if you want to see the rest of the features th-cam.com/video/vWKoJN38-Ro/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps, Cheers!
@@AlexAutoFun Thanks! One more question. Could I save a certain light mode setting on the app and have it on that setting whenever I start the engine? Or does it always just goto default it turns on?
Hi FrankBeanieWeenie! If using the cigarette lighter adapter, it shouldn't drain your battery (assuming your cigarette lighter port turns off when the car is off) Regarding other issues, while I have not had issues with mine, there is always an inherent risk when adding an aftermarket device to a car. Either installation can go wrong or the device can fail or some other latent failure may occur down the road. I know this may sound like an exaggeration but the example I give to people is that I had a friend who installed an aftermarket stereo on his car. Well the car caught on fire a few days later, and while it could have been the install, it could have also been the device or as my friend says maybe it was unrelated but just coincidence. So that is definitively something to keep in mind when deciding to upgrade your vehicle with aftermarket accessories. Hope this helps, Cheers!
I want some of theese lights so bad but no way am I cracking open my car. Just got a bran new car my husband would kill me lol. This is soooo much work. But sooo cool!!
LOL! Yeah they are definitely cool, here is the full review if you want to see all their features th-cam.com/video/vWKoJN38-Ro/w-d-xo.html but you are right, while I do all my own installs, I would recommend professional installation. Cheers!
Hey just wondering if you had anyplans to downpipeing or charging the exhaust. Im planning on putting a exhaust down pipe cut out that you can turn on and off
Hi Rene! yep! an exhaust is in my list of mods to come, it would be neat to find a dual mode exhaust. I have one on my Shelby GT350 and it comes in super handy...
Hi Ignjatije! Yes the lights are fully adjustable, you can see this on my full review video for them here th-cam.com/video/vWKoJN38-Ro/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps, Cheers!
Hi Aeriel! Several panels and pieces of the trim have to be removed as shown on the video to install the lights (the amount of parts that need to be removed varies from car to car and also depending on where the customer wants the lights to be installed) Hope this helps, Cheers!
Hi Cool! There are several ways an installer will feed the fiber into the trim of the car. One way is like the shown in the video by just tucking them into the panels, the other is by drilling a hole in each panel for the fiber to come thru. And here is the full review video so you can see the rest of it's features th-cam.com/video/vWKoJN38-Ro/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
Hi Alan! I think the price will vary depending on how much work and detail you want the installer into the installation. In one hand the kit can be installed fairly quickly on the easy spots of the car keeping install cost down on the other end the installer can go all out and put lights in the more difficult places of the car increasing cost. I would recommend getting a couple quotes so you can decide on the best price and which knowledgeable installer you decide to use. Hope this helps, Cheers!
I have a question, is it possible to have the foot led and fiber optic lights on 2 separate on/off switch which they will be sourcing power from the cigarette connection?
Hi BloodFlow HigH! Correct, each on it's on it's own separate cigarette lighter plug connection, you can see the contents of the kit on my full review here th-cam.com/video/vWKoJN38-Ro/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps, Cheers!

I can’t get the strip into the holder like how do u do it
I like what you did, but by using the cigarette ports, your lights are constantly on and unnecessary during daytime driving.
Cheers!
Can you go more in depth as to how you got the power cable from the console to the left/right side of the vehicle
I would never cut you off in the road with that mustache

I’m planning on doing this too lmk if it went well or if you got someone to install it
@@DoTheCrunk Hi Matt!
Hi, does the light turn on automatically when you start the car engine? Or have to turn on manually?
@@raymandarinheroes9329 You're welcome! ah yes the lights remember the last setting you left them at. Hope this helps, Cheers!
Does installing this have any effect on the battery or anything electrical on the car?
@@AlexAutoFun Very informative, thank you!

Nice mustache vro
Thanks Bud!
Can you change color of foot lights to white? And can you change brightness of foot lights?
Hi Ignjatije! Yes the lights are fully adjustable, you can see this on my full review video for them here th-cam.com/video/vWKoJN38-Ro/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps, Cheers!
How did you fish them with your hand to get them in place without removing any panel?
Hi Aeriel! Several panels and pieces of the trim have to be removed as shown on the video to install the lights (the amount of parts that need to be removed varies from car to car and also depending on where the customer wants the lights to be installed) Hope this helps, Cheers!
Alrighty don’t know if you’ll see this but I am SO confused on how to feed them through so could you please explain
Do you have an idea on rufflie how much does a shop charge to install a kit like tgis?
