You just need to play DS Mario Circuit on 200cc hitting all of the shortcuts. Also Athens dash is very janky but not at the end. You hitting that wall was a skill issue 😢. And that is easily the worsr, most boring and ugliest version of peach gardens. I really enjoyed the video, hope you had a good time and enjoy the BCP.

Loved hearing your thoughts. Overall I was much higher on the GBA and Tour city tracks than you. For me Snow Land, Boo Lake, and Riverside Park were all massive upgrades from their originals and showed that simpler courses can be fun if they nail the theming. Sunset Wilds and Sky Garden were nerfed but still fairly fun to play. For the city tracks I fee like you underrated Athens, Madrid, and Bangkok, but agreed with your other takes. What I love about this game is how different tracks appeal to different audiences

I 100% respect your opinions and enjoyed this video but i have to disagree on some of the gba takes with the exceptions of sky garden and sunset wilds. I felt the other gba remakes got brilliant updates. The tour cities i feel are mostly mid but a couple like sydney and Singapore to me were great. I agree on both rainbow roads being the top 2 but for me personally i still have a soft spot for 3ds rainbow road. Also im glad you acknowledged that it seems like its hard to like Waluigi Pinball without getting a hateful comment but i think its a fan favorite for a reason, short cuts or not.
Not in any specific order, but some of my favorite BCP tracks are Yoshi's Island, Waluigi Pinball, 3DS Rainbow Road, Wii Rainbow Road, Ninja Hideaway, Merry Mountain, Athens Dash, Vancouver Velocity, Singapore Speedway, Choco Mountain, Bowser Castle 3, Kalimari Desert, Snow Land, Moonview Highway, Boo Lake, DK Mountain, Daisy Cruiser, and Waluigi Stadium.

So me and my friends are working on a sitcom about if Mario kart tracks had personalities, thoughts and feelings and hung out and talked to each other. Well the sitcom is called the big 4 Starring Mushroom Gorge, Coconut Mall, Maple Treeway and Koopa Cape
I actually really rate all the GBA tracks added. Boo Lake and Snow Land are some of my favourites from the whole booster course pass
Apparently they skipped out of the sunset because it didn’t work with the lighting engine
The first and last places are both based ! I dont agree with everything but it’s a great list.
6:59 me personally the cars moving is nice to be compared to the original Wii track I just wish they put the boosters back too to add challenge like the Wii and 3ds versions

Great ranking ! I have most of them in the same tier, biggest difference is Coconut which is a sure top 5 for me. Booster pass is a must, it has the best tracks of the game (and the worst ones unfortunately !)
Agree with most of it except for how low you put piranha plant cove. That is my favorite track

My bottom 5 tracks are basically identical. With everything else, for the most part you put them all in an agreeable rank. I do think 3ds rainbow road is slightly more challenging than Wii rainbow road, which is why I would rank it higher, however, I did think it lost some charm coming to mk8 and I also agree with you that Wii rainbow road just felt epic and was a great ending to the dlc.

Wave 6 is probably my favorite Wave in the BCP along with wave 3. I will admit there are some things we should've gotten earlier, including the base game. For starters, why haven't we gotten a retro Bowser castle until now? Another thing is that we didn't get Diddy Kong until now either, despite the fact that there are literally DK themed courses in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I'm also not satisfied that we got Peachette as a new character when we really should've gotten someone like Hammer Bro or King Bob-omb, but I'm not surprised we got her instead. The track selection is amazing all things considered. I'm actually fine with not getting Piranha Plant Pipeline since the theming and vibes of that course are so similar to Piranha Slide. I am a bit disappointed we didn't get any updates or improvements to the horrendously (yet exhilarating) flawed battle mode.

I don't think the GBA tracks were necessarily done dirty. It's just what preferences the player has. I actually do like what they did with these tracks.
I suppose you are right - I just have nostalgia for these tracks and wish they got the same treatment as Cheese Land and Ribbon Road
Except for Sunset wilds. The best thing they had going for it was the Sun setting, and 8Dx didn’t have that. Hell, Tour even had the setting sun.

3DS Rosalina’s ice bore is too high. The camera for some of these tracks is way too zoomed in. This track magnifies that problem.
Although I can admit that your video ranking was pretty fun, I'd like to tell you that I completely disagree your opinion about putting Wii Rainbow Road over 3DS Rainbow Road, as a pro fact person that I am, Wii Rainbow Road as you already know, got it's difficulty nerfed in 8 Deluxe as it got more unnecessary guardrails that greatly affected it's difficulty making it less harder than the original as I preferred so much to push my opponents out of the track and sending them into the Shadow Realm, but don't get me wrong, Wii Rainbow Road is a pretty fun track to race on it and it's very nostalgic for people who grew up playing Mario Kart Wii when they were kids (Note: Mario Kart Wii isn't my childhood game if you're curious about me). 3DS, on the other hand, is slightly harder since it has very less guardrails, decent obstacles and it has less double item boxes which it defines it as the ultimate track that defines your skills and might as a Mario Kart player to use your items very wisely or else, you might lose in an unexpected way. So under these facts in conclusion, 3DS Rainbow Road is better than Wii Rainbow Road here in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
These tracks are better than the based game tracks in my opinion.

i really get the list and respect your opinions but how you described paris promenade really threw me off. It's at 40th place and you just talk positively about it without giving any negatives, you say it was underrated but then put it in 40? just a minor nickpick though just letting you know 👍
I understand - I originally had it much higher but then later switched it and didn’t change the script (still don’t think it’s the worst Tour track though)

#1 Wave 6 - This wave literally has the best track in the entire DLC being Wii Rainbow Road, as well as some other great tracks like SNES Bowser Castle 3, DK Mountain, also being great tracks, overall being the amazing conclusion of this DLC. Amazing Wave!
#2 Wave 5 - This wave was really focused with summer themed tracks, such as Daisy Cruiser, Koopa Cape, and the new track Squeaky Clean Sprint being great tracks! As well as having Athens Dash and Vancouver Velocity. Pretty Good wave!
#3 Wave 4 - This wave has the brand new tracks being Yoshi's Island, great layout, and really colorful. The tour tracks were also improved with Singapore Speedway and Bangcok Rush being good city tracks, as well as this DLC's first GCN track being Waluigi Stadium looking almost like a base game track. Great Wave!
#4 Wave 3 - This wave surprised fans with Maple Treeway, and I'm glad for that, as well as having 3DS Rainbow Road leading to one of the best tracks of the DLC. Good stuff!
#5 Wave 2 - Step up of Wave 1, with having a stronger selection of tracks, but graphicwise aren't really improved, aside this wave having Sky High Sundae, it's decent overall.
#6 Wave 1 - Graphics are BAD! Tracks feel like they were more on the basic side, especially the addition of Toad Circuit and the two city tracks, plus they kinda messed up Coconut Mall, so this wave is easily the worst one.

The Tour courses were cool and i liked how they change directions each lap its just confusing for me and i just feel like they are all the sameMy first Mario Kart game was Mario Kart Wii and i really enjoyed the courses so thats why they'll mostly all together and I just kove Yoshi's Island i like how everything from the music, enemies, sounds, and coins are from Ythe Yoshi's Island game. This was a fun journey and I love the 8 characters and 17 Mii racing suits and Jukebox mode we got from the Boost Course Pass. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is definitely my favorite Mario Kart game at the time and cant wait to see what the future of Mario Kart brings us.
