I watched Joe's video about getting the call. When he said Black Label, I died a little inside... I've heard it live, once and wish they'd play it more. Such a sick show! LOG is the greatest.

I saw them back when they still did the wall of death. It was a small venue. Shit got hectic in a heart beat. People fell all over each other, myself included. Ended up stuck under a handful of people. Luckily everyone was able to realize it and help people up. Most memorable show I've been too.

@@SaltyNolan we did the wall of death many years ago in Dallas, TX. LOG, Children of Bodom and As I Lay Dying... Hell of a show. Black Label played the night before with Hell Yeah and Vinnie Paul was there the night of LOG.

On his twitch, he said he was calling Mark discussing the set list, and Joe mentioned that he loves that song and knew it very well, and they were shocked because they hadn't played it in so long. As if there wasn't enough reasons to love this dude, he made them bring it back.

Man, watching his video and seeing that he had all of 14 hours to prepare for this set, I think I would have been losing my mind. He had prompt cards showing the lyrics in front of him, but that's not going to show the rhythm, the song structure, etc. Unless you've spent years memorizing all of the songs, you're just gonna end up having to take guesses on where the punch lines are to a live band. All things considered, did damn well.

I think Joe got a very valuable "wake up call" from Lamb of God and The Lamb of God because shortly after this Fit has put out a new single and guess what it is?
A cover song called "Walk with me in Hell" by the band he just sang 4 in this video. I say wake up because every now and again people need that in order to obtain a fresh new perspective and attitude towards what's true and real...Metal Music "The Iron Rod" of this generation revealing truths that if actually paid attention too (by the metal nazis) reveals truths that are sacred and Biblical after all Lamb of God is the top metal band these days due to there never changing and there deep dark and Biblical truths of all generations.

Bands at this level should nominate understudy's from other equally popular bands who are not currently touring to do some rehearsal of their parts so they can be called on if needed. I love Joe's vocals and Fit for an Autopsy, besides he's a very nive dude, but if Log's one of his favorite bands how come he doesn't know Ruin, Now You've Got Something To Die For, Walk With Me In Hell and 11th hour?
Edit: He still did a killer job don't get me wrong, but I don't know It surprised me that he didnt know the lyrics for some of the most well known songs

@° F I L T H Y ° the important thing with metal vocals for me is the aggression and or pain in them. I'm cool with not knowing what's said. And BTBAM is an awesome band

I've filled in for bands I like before and when you're in the chaos of the moment without being able to rehearse properly beforehand with the band, even just due to it being loud and whatnot you can get lost due to not having that rehearsed "muscle memory"
