It is his personal helmet I think but the tricky thing with that is if you stick it above your visor or on top of your helmet for example, with how wide Go Pro lenses are half of your screen would be the roof of the car. Tricky to get perfect and I personally quite enjoy seeing the rev counter and steering input.
GT Porsches mean absolute heaven to me 😇. I'm glad your GT3 is put to good use (even though let's be honest, there's very little of those GTs sleeping in a garage, considering how often and how many of them we get to see on track regularly, specially the GT2s). How about catching up with Shmee ? I would love to see his Gelpgrun and your Miami Blue posing together !

On Autotrader I see some low mile 2007 and 2010 GT3’s go for the same price as a 2014 GT3! It’s crazy how GT3s keep their value. I wonder what will happen to the 991.1 GT3’s value as it’s the only PDK transmission only car. I think the values will still go south before they head up north, as every other GT3 has a manual transmission. Specially as the new 991.2 GT3 is better in every way and has a choice of PDK or manual transmission.
I’m torn….I’ve seen most of your videos and I’m really torn. I am torn between a 2015 GT3 for a great price via a friend or a 2018 GT3 w a manual or a 2022 GT3 touring w a manual for a major premium up charge from the dealership. Great video’s. Keep it up.

Another nice video. What is up with your TPM? Do you have a sensor problem already or did you under inflate the tires a little bit so that they don't get over inflated during a session? We ran into a few sensor problems with the 997.1 GT3RS.
Hi James! Nice video as always but you need to mount your camera on the left side of your helmet (eyehight) or on your forehead. The POV perspective is 90% steering wheel and dash and 10% road.
Brilliant video as always. That GT3 engine sounds nuts - really great sounding engine. At the end of the video, when the Speciale and GT3 where parked next to each other, I would of taken the GT3 keys over the Ferrari's any day...looks a better car imho.
Nothing but respect for Porsche. They know how to make damn good sports cars, Balance, power, handling. All pretty hard to beat. But for sheer theatre, I'd still take take a Ferrari.
If your risking the gt3 without a number plate (bravo for doing so) can’t you do the same for the speciale?? I recall you saying in on of the detailing videos you were working for a solution on where to put the front plate, doesn’t look the best there! Obviously if you like it then crack on, it’s your beautiful vehicle! Great video too by the way.
Porsche and McLaren are for driving enthusiasts. Ferrari and Lamborghini are for those who prefer to show off more than actually drive (apart from the likes of Perfomante, Speciale, etc)
I thought i was watching Archie Hamilton racing for a second with the amount of repetition of “Gt3” Then i realised none of his videos would actually have driving the car on a track in them 😂👍🏻
James you are looking pretty handy behind the wheel. You were catching and passing some quick cars out there. Perhaps you need to get Tim, Paul, Sam etc together and have a track shoot out to put your skills against each other. Would make a great video.
Ur current garage is so similar to what it was before. A gt3 speciale and f12 not so long ago. Now u have a speciale 991.2 gt3 and an 812 on the way...

No complaints just a suggestion....next time mount the go-pro to the side of your helmet so we can see the track and gauges. Otherwise A+ video as always
You did a video a while back featuring a product from Michelin that shows you tyre pressures in real time while on track. The tyre pressure readouts are sent to your phone via an app. Any plans to apply that product to your cars?
Never seen the sun out there before. Great cars being driven hard. Of course i know you will always drive any car you own. Only quibble your camera looking out the front wind screen on track was a bit to low sometimes
Have you driven the manual? I'd imagine in order to make an informed decision it would be best to compare the two in the real world not just in theory.

It's kind of a shame that in the UK we don't get cars like the corvette zo6, corvette zr1, Camaro zl1 1le, Shelby Mustang GT350R etc. It would nice to have alternative track day weapons that u could live every day instead of just Porsches. I know u can import some of these cars but it would be sooo better if they were right hand drive version.
You could do a track lap record with both and find out which one gets the best time on your hands. Just curious to see which one makes you feel better on track. Love JWW

i can never get over how hard james thrashes his cars around track. You can tell he really does care about improving his driving.
I find that the caymans also really benefit from trail braking. To a degree, that you expect it to spin!
His first speciale took a back seat because he enjoyed the first GT3 so much - looks like history is repeating itself !
