Welcome to a simple review and explanation of the SkyTrak subscription options. SkyTrak launch monitor and home golf simulator comes with the basic driving range package, but for an extra cost you can upgrade your SkyTrak software to the Game Improvement Package or the Play & Improve Plan. In this video I will explain the differences between all 3 subscription plans including which features are included in which plan.

Hello! My name is Mitch and I am relatively new to the golf game! I began as a 25 handicap golfer a little over 3 years ago and have managed to work my way down to my current handicap of 9!
My latest investment has been a SkyTrak golf simulator and launch monitor, so that i can improve my golf game at home and especially indoors during the winter months. On my channel you will find some helpful tips and tricks related to SkyTrak, as well as monitoring my progress out on the golf course. I will upload how to videos, comparison videos and also some all important course vlogs!

Great insight into just home much the cost carries on once you buy the initial product, it's not cheap and to add on £20/month to unlock everything afterwards it's definitely something extra to consider Vs Garmin R10 etc, great video buddy

20$ a month yea what burden. You realize they run on servers and have updates.. it’s going to cost money.
The biggest selling feature on the Mevo+ for me was the included 5 simulated golf courses. Sky Trak has some good features but the annual fee and the cost of simulation software was a deal breaker for me.
if I had known about the Mevo+ before I bought skytrak then I would have been very tempted to buy that instead due to the courses you get on E6! I am glad I didn’t now though because I do not have enough space in my simulator room to use a Mevo+ 👍🏻
Can you do a video that explains step-by-step instructions on how to connect the SkyTrak golf simulator to my Samsung Galaxy s7 tablet for outside use? Will my Samsung Galaxy S7 tablet even work? I have my DIY golf net setup and turf already installed in my backyard. I just want to use a tripod to hold my Samsung Galaxy S7 plus tablet so I can see the visual shot distance on my tablet and other swing statistics during my practice shots in my backyard. I have a new home being built, once I move in, I do plan to use the SkyTrak simulator indoors as well, probably hooked up to a PC, and then purchase a drop-down screen and projector.

Hi there, see when your playing on TGC do you have to select a club before every shot? So your 160 away do you pick 7 iron or just hit the shot and it works out from launch angle and spin rates and stuff what club you have used? Also is there a choice to have autoputt on like gc quad? Thanks
Hi Martin. On TGC you don’t need to select your club - the shot is calculated based on the parameters the lunch monitor provides. You can select your club but it is not necessary for the shot (unless you have set a % boost to your driver for example, but that’s a different story). And yes, you can set gimmes or auto putt to whatever distances you like 👍🏼

Does anyone know why when you go to pay it includes a $30 shipping charge? Isn’t the add on just a download?
I’ve never had to pay a shipping charge and I’m pretty sure you shouldn’t need to either! Are you ordering direct from SkyTrak website?
With the improvement plan can you get average club distance data for multiple users?
You can create accounts for different people yes and when they have a session then you can export their data (e.g. average distance) via email or save it as a PDF.

Hi M8. How do i download the game improvement and play wgt on my sky track. I have been trying all day and it just keeps crashing from sky track. Any help would be appreciated thanks. Ian
You need to purchase the Play & Improve Plan from the SkyTrak website if you want to play WGT. I believe SkyTrak has been updating its website this past week and there are a few bugs on the site at the moment which is not allowing things to run as smoothly as they normally would. I would suggest calling the SkyTrak helpline and they should be able to sort everything for you 👍🏼

Yes, definitely. It is well worth it
First tip should be, If you’re even remotely thinking about buying a SkyTrak you need to order one now and once you make your final decision either just cancel it or keep the order. You’ll have over 3 months to make your decision since they are ridiculously backordered.

Is the skytrack ID the same as the software serial number?

So I want to play WGT 2019. Do I only need the game improvement plan or do I need the play and improve?
I think you’re getting a little confused; there is WGT and a TGC 2019.
TGC 2019 is the better option. For this you only need the game improvement package, and then to buy TGC 2019 separately.
For WGT you need the play & improve plan. This is cheaper, but nowhere near as good as TGC 2019.

Is the sky track accurate enough to use for game improvement?
I’ve heard that it doesn’t always pick up hooks, making you think a hook somehow went straight.
Also carry distances are a bit too long because the spin numbers aren’t super accurate. Is this right?
Yes SkyTrak is definitely accurate enough to improve your game. I went from an 11 HCP down to 7 with regular practice. You do get an occasional miss read but on the whole it is more than accurate enough to help you get better on the course 👍🏼

Yes it can just purchase the plan you want through the SkyTrak website 👍🏼
