    Awesome setup. A lot of thought went into it. Even the movie seats on a wheeled platform is a fantastic idea

    That’s pretty sick. I started with a 9x9 screen and have since realized I’m gonna have to redo a lot of it. Don’t quite have the space you have but you definitely learn exactly what you want after a year or so of use.

    How did you connect the screen to side walls? What did you use for padding? Love this setup. I was looking at buying an enclosure, but really like this setup.

      Thanks so much,
      For the sides I put screw hooks into the wall and attached the 6” bungees. I ordered the screen to be 6” shorter than the wall to wall size so I had 3” on each side to tie in the bungees.
      I used the curtains for padding on the sides and on the top bar, I used soft foam pads along the top bar of the screen frame along with 3/4” pipe insulation.

    Really like your setup. I am looking to build a backbuilding like this at my place. What are the dimensions of the building? I was thinking of doing 20' wide by 35' long since I also want to put my home office in there. For height was thinking 12' height ceilings. Your build looks to be around similar to what I am looking to do. Can you send the links to the netting and curtains?

      If it's just for the Sim Room then that's a great size. My room is about 18'x35' with 12' ceilings. I left 18" behind the screen for speakers and for the screen to stretch when hit. Then I left 13' from the screen to the back of the hitting area. The rest of the space, is for the moveable seating, ping pong table, and lounge area.

    Would a ramp like that impact putting on a mevo plus ? Planning a buildout and this seems to be a perfect and easy clean setup, love the ramp idea but I thought it had to be level to the screen

    • @GolfSimGuy
      @GolfSimGuy  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm sorry, I'm not sure of the MEVO+ requirements. But I'm pretty sure it'll only measures point of impact so you'd be fine.

      Mevo+ measures the ball flight with radar. It is required about 6 meters of space with your radar in the middle for short indoor mode.

      I have mevo+ I’m definitely doing the ramp, highly doubt it would cause issues unless you raised it significantly higher than level with the unit. 6” likely wouldn’t make a difference.

    What are the dimensions of the room. I ask, because we are developing floor plans for our new home and I searching for the right size. I will have the Uneekor eye xo 2 system

    • @Daoasis1
      @Daoasis1 ปีที่แล้ว

      The entire room is 19x35, but the area for golf with the turf is 17x15 (WxD). Screen is 13’ from the tees and the height of the room is 12’, with the ceiling vaulted up to 19’ where the basketball hoop is over the hitting area.

    Where did you get the outdoor murals for the side walls

      That’s just a graphic for the thumbnail. It was generated by an AI called Midjourney.

    I'm currently building a very similar setup. What distance and height did you mount the Benq 936ST?

    • @GolfSimGuy
      @GolfSimGuy  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's 14' from the screen and 10' off the ground.
      You've got some play with the manual zoom on the lens and then you also have some digital controls on the projector.

    I like the ramp. how do balls NOT go in between the screen and ramp though?

    • @GolfSimGuy
      @GolfSimGuy  ปีที่แล้ว

      The screen is attached to the 2x6 with the bungees and the turf overhangs the platform by about 1/2" to go right up to the screen. It puts just a touch of pressure against the screen. Balls go up and come right back down.

    need some ceiling protection man, otherwise you can't play anything more than 52 degrees, it rolls upwards on the screen sometimes

    • @GolfSimGuy
      @GolfSimGuy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely, yes, there is ceiling protection. I have a 10x20 Golf Hitting Net overhead that catches all my 60 Degree shots. Because I'm 13' from the screen, everything up to my Approach Wedge go into the netting and come back down safely. Thanks for watching.

    The 2060 got more taxed when you went to the higher resolution and screen size probably.

      It did in GSPro, but TGC handles it just fine. I’ve tried to lower the quality to med but the GPU is still running at 90-100. Although the GPU temp stays at around 80.
