Neil Gaiman was like a god to his fans , the patron saint of goth girls , fantasy readers and hordes of nerdy outcasts. And he exulted in their worship. But treat a man like a god and he'll allow himself any kind of behavior & inevitably go too far.
I'm pretty sure he wrote about stuff like that in Sandman. BTW, do you remember that episode in which a male feminist successful author turns out to be an abuser? He has an angel trapped in his apartment and he routinely SA her. I couldn't help but think about it when this story exploded the past summer.
I mean he put all out there. Openly hated women , and wore 'feminist' shirts simping for women. It was all out there. I agree with you, but most people are morons.
You can expect him to obey the law but you can't expect him to be normal, not after everyone celebrated him rejecting normality. This guy's entire existence is the rejection of what normal relationship values used to be. What you seem to want is for him to follow a 'new normal' that there's been no consensus on.
I'm saying this as someone who in the past have read (and enjoyed) a lot of Neil Gaiman's work (Sandman, American Gods, The ocean at the and of the lane etc.) but his creepy (very creepy) nature has been one of the biggest open secrets in the literary world for years. It is very similar to the Harvey Weinstein situation where everyone in the business knew about him and what he did but just decided to look the other way since he was so famous and made so much money for his publishers. The "rumors" about him stalking conventions and writer's symposiums looking for young, impressionable and submissive female fans have been around for a long time. Once these stories became more and more persistent I found myself not being able to enjoy his work anymore. It was the old "no smoke without fire"-thing, I guess, and it just felt weird reading his work. You could never shake the feeling "Is this just imagination or is it based on something... more". The fact that he over these last 10-15 years have become more and more outspoken about feminism and LBTQ-rights also felt weird. I mean, there is nothing wrong supporting these causes per se (and Neil has always been very supportive of these causes) but the fact that he really ramped this narrative up as the rumors about his other side started to become more prominent just gave the impression that he was trying to cover something up. In hindsight, you have to wonder if he ever cared about these causes to begin with (even as a young man) or if he just saw these women as very easy to manipulate. If he pretended to be a feminist he could integrate himself into "their circle" and score some emotional points. It also made it so that a lot of his fans - once he got famous - dismissed these rumors for him, thinking it impossible that such a famous "feminist" would abuse his power that way.
There was no open secret about Neil Gaiman. It just people are lying because they don't like his politics and defended Death being black. Also, how are going to claim that you enjoyed his work but then say his work reflected something creepy about him? Pick a lane and stick with it.
@ If you can't use your critical thinking skills and think what is saying is consistent then there is nothing, I can do for you. "I enjoyed Gaiman's work but also think it's reflecting of Gaiman being a sexual predator." Yeah, that makes sense.
@@thehacker4012 that's not what he said. You really have no business acting so arrogant if you can't even quote someone accurately. The statement about enjoying Neil's work (past tense, BTW) and the statement about his creepy nature were not related, and it was not implied that Neil's nature was showing through in his work, certainly not at the time that the poster first read the work, but that it came from numerous rumors about Neil's behavior at conventions and symposiums. But go ahead, keep flexing those internet muscles.
Any man who proclaims that they are a male feminist is likely someone you should suspect of the very things they decry. It really liked his art, but a lot of his work is now ruined for me.
Exactly! I’ve had to explain this to far too many women. If he says he’s a male feminists there is a very large chance he’s just trying to get in your pants and is in reality a total creep. Another good example of this is Joss Wedon.
@@serafausfrom what I’ve gathered, H town is powered by bloodlines and three letter agencies ergo everyone involved has signed both NDAs and DNRs and hope for the least terrible outcome
They won't. When nothing is proven and he sues all of these women successfully for defamation this will disappear. And no one will apologize to Gaiman. Certainly not you, nor this video's creator.
@@MidlifeCrisisJoe I won't, because I believe all women, but I recognise that there's a good chance that he could be innocent. Still won't apologise though.
I agree. Though people don't have media literacy nor are they creators themselves. So people don't really seem to understand channeling your pain into something useful, but not receiving help in the long run can do more harm than good.
@@hewhomakesnosound How exactly would media literacy help you pick out him being a predator?Unless you took every instance of something creepy happening in his work and translated it into objective reality, which is stupid, because fiction isn't reality. Also, there are layers to being strange, weird and disturbing. For me personally, even more than the obvious unethical nature of his actions (even if it's proven it wasn't legally or technically SA), what gets me is the pathetic and repulsive nature of them. For someone of his talent and stature, he went through life and love in a completely undignified manner, and also disregarded the dignity of others along with his own. There is a line in "Demons" by Dostoevsky where a monk tells Stavrogin "Don't you understand that there are crimes that leave people reeling not due to their hideouness but due to how....ridiculous they are?".That's what I'm talking about, as a fan that had drifted away due to picking up some profound dissonance from his behavior in comparison to the attitude that had drawn me to his work in the first place.
Strange and weird? That's fine! Abusers and grapists? Not fine, actually. Lets not conflate everyone who's a little strange or likes odd things with being a literal grapist.
Neil Gaiman is the creator of one of my favorite comic book characters, Angela from Spawn. Now granted, Todd McFarlane drew the character, and that was more important to me as a teenaged comic book reader. Gaiman was considered a legend in the comic book industry, though. My favorite comic book writer (and of many other people) is Alan Moore. I haven't heard any similar allegations about him and I hope I never will, but there was a story in Promethea where the protagonist, a college-aged female, had to sleep with a wrinkly old magician in order to further her journey. It creeped me out because Alan Moore calls himself a magician.
@@jhonmaverick9963 They were at war legally for a very long time over the rights to a few Spawn characters. Eventually Gaiman got the rights to Angela and sold her to Marvel out of spite, when she clearly belongs with Spawn as a character, her entire reason for existing. A lot of people sided with Gaiman throughout it all because Todd doesn't put on the same 'nice guy' costume Gaiman did for years, has a bit of an evident ego, but is sure coming off looking like the good guy now that the truth is coming out on Gaiman.
@@thelaw6267 No, Todd's entire supposed reason for founding Image Comics was to protect creator's rights and ensure they don't have their work and characters stolen, and then literally the first opportunity he got, he tried stealing someone's characters. Just because 30 years later it turns out Gaiman is also a scumbag, doesn't excuse Todd's garbage behavior and blatant hypocrisy in a completely separate matter. Sometimes bad people do bad things to other bad people; it doesn't mean they are actually good because of it.
The clues were there to see from the start, no one took a careful reading of his works, since Sandman... but in the nineties they said it was "artistic genius, fantasy"!
No, there were no clues. These accusations are lies and there's no actual evidence to support any claim. This is just drama farming and you're far too credulous if you believe any of this.
I lost interest in Gaiman's works after reading Troll Bridge, which is essentially about an adulterer who feels he's the victim. I doubt any of us saw the depths of Gaiman's depravity, it's akin to the Savile revelations in its evil, but you could definitely see from his early work that he was a bit of a scumbag.
I must respectfully disagree with your characterization of Gaiman as a "great artist." Thomas Pynchon & Cormac McCarthy are great artists. Gaiman is a genre author and comic book writer. No shame, the guy's been massively successful, but let's keep things in perspective.
And I never thought he was great. I remember when Sandman hit the shelves and everyone insisted it was the most awesome stuff on earth. Couldn't stand it. Nothing he's written since has been any different.
Gotta be honest pretty much any time a man is super outspoken about being a feminist or being very pro woman I always get wary. Not because I don’t support women, I do, but because if you have to virtue signal about being a decent human being it usually means the opposite and are hiding something. Joss Wedon is another example of this.
@ Yes. All of them. There are 6 of them. 3 of them aren't even accusing him of sexual assault, but unwanted advances where he got rejected or "was creepy." This is a bog standard pile-on by women angry they didn't get to bag an incredibly famous writer and/or didn't get money (or enough money) out of him. If you don't get by now that women not only lie, but support other women in their lies, you're too naive.
This has always happened in recent history when someone's name gets attached to something or made a show of or movie, groups of people attack that person, and a lot of the time it's false. You make enemies in your life, and if you become more famous, it's very easy these days to ruin someone's life. Look at Ed Piskor. He's dead now because of things like this, and nobody is in jail for it. Women can ruin men's lives, and then they only care when it's still a hot topic, but then move on to the next scandal.
I used to be impartial to Gaimen till my ex of 7 years showed me his work while we were together. She looooooved his work, the way he talked, his relationship with his partner, and so i learned to love it all too. I still think to this day that the Dr. Destiny diner chapter in Sandman is one of the single most depraved and interesting pieces of comicbook literature I've ever read (save for maybe Ennis). She eventually left me, and I started to despise every little thing she loved, including Gaimen (petty, I know). I didn't watch dead boy detectives club, didn't read anymore sandman or hellraiser comics, I was done. Then I heard about all this and a small part inside me cheered, NOT because any of this has happened to anyone, but because I'm sure my ex was reeling from this. All that being said, what is being depicted in these descriptions of his assault on that woman, seems to be so comically despicable, that it's kinda difficult to believe. Don't get me wrong, shit like this DOES happen to people and to say it's terrible would be an understatement. But vomiting while forcibly giving oral and being told to eat it up, is literally something I've read in a splatterpunk novel. It all seems a tad extra, but if it comes to light that all this is true then I'll for sure be proven wrong, and he for sure needs to be locked up. I hope it never happened, not for his sake but because literally no one on earth should have to go through that.
@@trucoomccoo those victims deserve justice. Also your comment was incredibly honest and not pretentious, I appreciate it but I am horrified, I learned what happened int he video due to your comment
@earlofbroadst I'm really, really, REALLY not defending him, but he's not the first writer to explore that idea. His lucifer is just an extension of Milton's from Paradise Lost. That being said, he is the only writer I know of other than the Marquee De Sade to have these kinds of... proclivities. If it's true (which it seems to be), it's disgusting. And upsets me greatly because i used to love his work...
I still hope that it is not true, that all those allegations are not true. I love Sandman and I do view Gaiman as fantasy genius, this will put huge shame on his life's work. Not to mention all adaptations of his work will be canceled no matter how they are succesful. Terrible.
His response to the allegations basically went from "sorry for misreading your signals, I'm autistic" to "some of this is true, some of this is false, I am not denying having sex with these people but I'm denying it being non-consential". At least one of the women were emplyed by him and he hasn't denied that.
There was a lot of grooming going on in the scene, in England and Ireland, in the 90's and 00's. I didn't quite realise how bad it was until many years later. There was an ex GF of mine that may well have come under the radar of many predators in the industry, that touted themselves as decent. I just hope she isn't one of the victims, of Neil, or anyone else. Haven't seen her in over twenty years. Yeah, I'm ****** off. I really thought Neil was one of the good ones. The bit about Amanda....I find even worse. THAT I can't, well, don't want to believe. Shit! Well said, mate.
You can't say the word "vomit"? Seriously, if you have to say "blank" so many times, then maybe there's no point in relating this verbatim. Why not just paraphrase/summarize?
I’ve long since abandoned any idea that celebrities or famous people are purely good and wholesome. Unless you’re Mr. Rogers, we all have our dark side and skeletons in our closet, because we are human beings and no human is perfect. I’m not saying this to defend him, I’m saying that we have to stop placing these people on pedestals just because they’re famous or we like their works or views. Finally, let’s be honest about something else, for every person who says “I’m never going to support Neil ever again” there’s going to be 99 who don’t give a shit and will continue experiencing his stuff business as usual. Instead of hoping his works get thrown into some vault to never see the light of day, we need to find some way of living with his library of works; because they’re not going anywhere. Because good art can come from shitty people.
I do admit, as someone whose mental landscape and interest in fantasy writing as a young adult was profoundly shaped by his works - no, I don't want or expect every artist I like to be wholesome, much less angelic, but I do expect a modicum of dignity and self-respect that justify why I think their ideas are important enough for me to give them the time of the day, when there are so many books out there I won't ever have time to read. He could have been a great many things, even a criminal, perhaps (meaning, not the kind of criminal he's being accused as) and I'd still want to read him. But I can't suffer knowing how pathetic and ridiculous he is, even if he's not legally liable. His past works, I'll just have to reconcile myself with loving them nevertheless.
There are two theories about celebrity controversies I fear-that celebrity culture is cultivates for terrible people to thrive, or that people are far more likely to be evil than we think. Sociopathy, narcissism, pedophilia, these are great sicknesses of our species
I'm just gonna enjoy his creations and separate them from his entire existence, since that seems to be the going trend these days with everyone getting exposed 😅
Ughhh this irks me so much bro like whyyyyyy bro why cant people keep their hands to themselves literally coraline, sandman, marvel 1602 and good omens all tainted
Never heard of this dude before but see everyone reacting as if he was exposed for anything, these are allegations, they may be 100% true or 100% false, there's absolutely 0 public evidence yet the mindless public acts as if it's proven "I can't believe he did this" "they should take away his awards" you have no idea if ANY of this is even remotely true.
If this guy winds up being invited to Gallifrey One Convention in Los Angeles, all of the people who conspired against Doctor Pitches to get him wrongfully banned owe him an apology, especially Lori B. Unban Doctor Pitches and start vetting accusers who lie and exaggerate.
Would it be wrong to become a first-time reader of his most famous work just to see what the fuss is about? It's pretty damning if some of the accusations are true, but I honestly don't have much trouble separating the art from the artist.
I don't think there's anything wrong with reading or even enjoying someone's work, even if they are a bad person. It's terrible what happened to these women - if it's true, which I'm inclined to believe it is. I have heard rumors online about Palmer and later on about Gaiman for the past couple years. I'm a huge fan of Amanda Palmer's music so it's disappointing but she's always had a huge ego and has done a lot of weird problematic stuff in the past ten or twenty years. But she's massively talented. It's complicated. I'm not super into Neil Gaiman to be honest; Sandman was a fun comic and I've read maybe one of his books and found it to be just okay. Honestly, I find music and books and comics etc to be more like "entertainment" and not so much "the creator of this work needs to be the best most virtuous person or I cannot enjoy this thing". I can enjoy someone's work while simultaneously being aware that they would probably not be a safe person to drink alcohol around.
Yeah, I like his books, best not to look at your heroes too close. However, have the proper authorities got involved? Did the 'victims' contact the police etc? Not heard much about this?
on bluesky, a couple years ago, i confronted him. I researched his family because there was some sort of connection to that 70’s show guy who is currently in prison (you know who i mean) but, i asked him if he was still a scientologist, because his parents were, and he let it out that he was a member but that he wasn’t anymore…but the thing is that his parents were. it seems that there is a pattern.
I see. So it’s perfectly appropriate to draw connections to a cult like Scientology, but somehow it’s “bigoted” to draw any connections to a certain other cult of common tribal relations?🤔
Late 80's early 90's I was part of a crew that attended sci-fi conventions running things for the con... He set of the alarms of one of the girls in the crew... and then we started to notice he was an absolute letch. The kind of don't leave him alone with a woman/follow him with a mop and bucket to clean up the drool kind of letch. Never expected something like this though.
A UTI that was so bad she couldn't even sit down. :/ According to the article, she said they could do some things but she specifically told him no penetration, because it would have been too painful, and he did it anyway. Nobody with any ounce of compassion would force a person to go through that.
Maybe we are not very good at evaluating art? Maybe we get a bit carried away. As an independent music fan it never ceases to amaze me how concentrated the wealth in the music industry is.
Ya known it's been proven so many times that these types of accusations are just partt of an almost BILLION DOLLAR INDUSTRY...SHAME ON U FOR BEING THE POLICE JUDGE JURY WITH IN SECONDS AND NOT EVEN KNOWN ANY OF THE SPECIFICS...
See, this is why I have a legitimate fear that any celebrity could be secretly evil. I am scared one of the actors for the Doctor will turn out to have had skeletons in their closet
one of the victims went to Palmer and told her what happened. Palmer said that she's the 14th person to tell her this same story. She didn't do anything to help.
Not saying these things didn’t happen. But it’s just anonymous reports. I can’t defend him, because I don’t know him. But on the other hand, people spread stories against celebrities also. On the other hand, both his parents were big in the Church of Scientology. I will have to read the article.
@@alarien16 Copy that. It’s easier for me to accept this because I have lost a lot of respect for him anyways in recent years for all kinds of other reasons. I still love SANDMAN (the original graphic novels), and just chalk it up to someone who may indeed be a really bad man who “channeled” some great art.
If you have enough you can get away with a lot. We’ll see if anything becomes of these accusations but color me skeptical of any real action being taken.
Actually, as mentioned in the Vulture article, fans of his that offered themselves up willingly, like one fan who asked if she could be his sex slave, he actually told "no." The women he assaulted and raped were people outside of all that.
I just came to know about the allegations about Neil Gaiman. I know about the "Halo Effect", I love Nietzsche's quote saying, "Many times behind a great artist hides a mediocre man and behind a mediocre artist a great man" and I'm used to accept many people I admire for WHAT THEY DO are just shitty people. There are plenty of them But in this case it's hard for me to believe it. The scale of the accusations are just so big and the scale of the cover up so wide that is hard to believe that a WRITER, that started as a COMIC BOOK writer, and, as far as I know, never was in any executive position ever, as rich as he is, had the influence to cover it up for so long. He was writing for DC when those things happened, apparently. That's not like a singer, a rapper, an actor, a Hollywood director or something. I don't know.
What's the huge cover up? Some of the women signed NDAs and got paid up to hundreds of thousands of dollars, that's it. Nothing that he did came to light before now, so there was no need for a coverup or some conspiracy.
I believe in the court system and everyone deserves a day in court and innocent until proven guilty and all that stuff. However If the majority or all of this is true it’s disturbing and I’m not a guy who gets offended and gross out easily but reading the article made me genuinely sick to my stomach. I hate to say it but more and more these days yah boy Zack is becoming more right by the day. And how the comics industry not just knew about it but was protecting him from it is all even more disturbing.
I'm not really surprised, but he's never given me the impression of being that sort of person. Though who we are thirty years ago isn't the same as we are now. Never put people on a pedestal, and I try to separate the art from the artist. I tend not to care too much about their actions as a person because I don't exactly believe people are fundamentally good or bad. We simply "are" at our baseline. We're animals with higher functioning minds, and the mind must be trained, used, and disciplined, lest the lesser animal mind take over. And if the allegations are true, like so many people, he has lost that battle. Sandman will always be my favorite comic book, and I loved Coraline. If it's true, I hope the people he's hurt find help and peace, and I hope he learns and grows as a person. If not, then it's just the same old story. People are trying to besmirch the name of a good man for profit.
Been crying for the past minutes thinking about all the good stories, performances and visuals we're gonna miss when they eventually axe the sandman and the adjacent properties 💔😢
And Jonathon lost his entire career mind you. We will not be seeing him in films again, I can almost guarantee it. And that’s bogus to me, because I really liked his acting ability in Creed 3 and was hoping for more hard roles from him in the future. Sadly that won’t be the case with Jonathan, but I bet Netflix won’t even cancel sandman or fire Gaiman.
@Philosophical24 they need to cancel it especially after all of this. Hopefully Jonathan can be able to make a career comeback hopefully. Don't know about Neil in his situation.

It's fairly common for people to be compliant out of fear. "Fight or flight" is much more accurately described as "fight, flight or freeze". I'm sorry if this comes over as defending SA. It's not meant that way, I just think that these are allegations, and as such, are unproven. Yes, victims of this kind of abuse should be heard, but also, in the age of the Internet, it is very easy to jump on a bandwagon. I don't know the truth behind these allegations, but then neither does anyone else who is commenting. The online court is not a court of law. Can we please, please shut up about this until something is substantiated in a jurisdiction other than the comments section on a TH-cam video? Innocent until proven guilty only applies to conservatives and straight white men. It doesn't apply to women, minorities, or anyone on the left. I don't make the rules, I just mock the rules.
Sorry to tell you this, but "innocent until proven guilty" hasn't been a thing since the Left ignored it, when the people on the Right, Center, and even their own friends and family were hit with allegations. They didn't gave those people any leeway or grace to prove their innocence when the accusations were piling up. They were warned that if they keep doing this, they'd get the same treatment when it was their turn on the hot seat. Instead of heeding this warning, they doubled down with the "BELIEVE ALL VICTIMS!" narrative. And even when the accused were proven innocent; they tripled down by perpetuating the lies and continue their harassment, instead of acknowledging their mistake and apologizing. And knowing Neil's politics, he most likely cheered on from the corner when it was the people he disliked were being hounded and accused. I do agree that we should wait for solid evidence to surface. And that's the only thing that should matter. But I'm not gonna play dumb why Neil is getting this treatment or why the public has this reaction.

That phrase was always a paradox. I understand it means well and good but what do you think happens when a culprit goes free but ruin or harm more innocent lives. I don't think that phrase does any good for the cause of innocent until proven guilty as if ignores the opposite end of the consequences (And don't make assumptions I always take these cases as neutral until evidence)

There are a lot of people who pile in on TH-camrs for the smallest of things; that makes you defensive when you're about to upload something even remotely controversial. Again, you need to have experienced the reaction to understand.
@futurez12 If your fan base is so delicate and easily butt hurt, then do not put out content that can trigger them. The first thing is putting a disclaimer from the very beginning, saying one apology, and then getting into the subject matter. I've seen many content creators do that before, and it works out fine. But most of the video was just him apologizing for his content, which made no sense to me.
The Vulture piece is unconvincing. The allegations might be honest and accurate. Or they might be exaggerations. Or they might be complete fabrication.

This guy's entire existence is the rejection of what normal relationship values used to be. What you seem to want is for him to follow a 'new normal' that there's been no consensus on.
cause is impossible
@heimdal8 it's like in punk circles, when Anti-Flag frontman Justin Sane was exposed for S.A.-ing female fans.

Good art requieres a disorted mind
I wouldn't call them the greatest but they are impressive.
I must respectfully disagree with your characterization of Gaiman as a "great artist." Thomas Pynchon & Cormac McCarthy are great artists. Gaiman is a genre author and comic book writer. No shame, the guy's been massively successful, but let's keep things in perspective.

This is far worse than the Jonathan Majors situation. That because Jonathan is innocent unlike this sicko
Well we need to wait and see. Jonathan majors was considered guilty as sin until the receipts came in
And Jonathon lost his entire career mind you.
@@2ndchannel-r7c You do realize that witness testimony is the weakest form of evidence, right? You understand that people lie and mischaracterize events?
Ok sorry but how do you say "no" to "blank on face" and having it happen anyway without waiting for it? These things take time if I'm not mistaken
Or "thrust in mouth" without reacting aggressively?
I need not go on.
I WANT to trust people but these days the liars have made me extremely skeptical
bro asked about the intricate details of how male on female rape works... diddy ahh blud 💀
It's fairly common for people to be compliant out of fear. "Fight or flight" is much more accurately described as "fight, flight or freeze".
EDIT: That is why R-cases are so difficult to sort out because we have a specific idea of how a perpetrator and a victim should act. In reality it's not always so simple.
This is a disgusting question.
there really are people out there who can't grasp the concept of power dynamics, and just the basic reality that most men are physically stronger than most women
Look at the bright side we can make edgy memes based on this

I....i don't know what to say about this...
I like Neil Gaiman's work, and I will be hugely disappointed if he is found liable for any crime. Until then, Im going to reserve judgement.
My brother's favorite author, a narcissistic story telling narcissist. If he's in your building or in your vicinity it's audibly nicknames and shit for all to be his side eyeing pawns.
Armin, thank you, I've got more respect for you for reading those quotes even though they made you uncomfortable. It's important for people to know what this monster did.
is innocent until proven guilty a thing anymore?
@@nou3123keep crying
Cope
But I'm not gonna play dumb why Neil is getting this treatment or why the public has this reaction.
he already admitted it happened
I NEED PROOF!
You won't get any. Because nothing actually happened.
Be wary of anyone who doesn’t
Bro, he and his lawyer already agreed that he had relationships with those womens but their deffense its been that "they said yes". Its his one man word against many underage girls. Are you really gonna doubt this ?
@@lukegold4089 "Are you really gonna doubt this ?"
How many times does this need to happen and then turn out to be a nothing burger before you change your default react to "Lets wait a little"
I can think of at least four off the top of my head

Not a surprised at all, hollywood is weird af and women get abused by high power men on the Regular. Its extremely sad that it's normalized nowadays in Hollywood
I would be careful though. It happens more than we think but fake accusations happen just as frequently so before all the details are in I won't judge.
Look at Johny Depp for example.
Hollywood is a mess of degeneracy and the degenerates calling out the innocent
Armin was invited to the Diddy parties he acting like we ain't catch that
lol
I was there I saw Armin with Meek Mill, can confirm
Oh a deconstructionist without a strong moral foundation?
Imagine my shock.
I'm just numb to these revelations about famous people.
I'll wait till the allegations are proven to be true, with evidence and such, before putting out an opinion on the person.
I'd rather let an actual culprit free than destroy an innocent person's life.
That phrase was always a paradox. I understand it means well and good but what do you think happens when a culprit goes free but ruin or harm more innocent lives. I don't think that phrase does any good for the cause of innocent until proven guilty as if ignores the opposite end of the consequences
(And don't make assumptions I always take these cases as neutral until evidence)
homie peaked in the 2000's let's be real
Sounds like that one episode of The Boys season 4.
Heard some stuff about Frank Miller years ago. Didn’t believe it at first, but, these days, yeah I can see it.
Bro, stop apologizing for a video you're posting. No one is making you do it, lol. If you're gonna post content, just say it how it is were all grown-ups here. It's like you're self-censoring yourself 🤔
"we're all grown-ups here." Well, that's just not true. Also, you'd understand why content creators are often apologetic if you made content yourself.
Those who project their virtue the most seem to be the worst offenders ....
Your *blank* on this subject left me feeling *blank* and *blank*. The *blank* that you detailed left zero *blanks* in my mind.

As a beginner, it is essential that you have a mentor to help you stay accountable. In my case, Claudia Ann Brandon has guided me for months and I highly recommend her. I focus on her. To be honest, I'm almost hesitant to let someone take charge of growing my finances, but I'm so glad I did.

Very possible! especially at this moment.

Wow. i was just watching Lucifer and wanted to search up neil gaiman because i wanted to know a bit more about the creator of the characger, and this is what i see?
Gaiman is probably the second greatest writer in comics after Alan Moore. What do you think?
Alan Moore has been involved in controversies too
@abrahamlupis9354 I haven't heard of any
Thanks for covering this, I don't tend to follow news so sometimes I am clueless to what is happening around.
Why did it have to be Neil😔
@@MadMan3498 why did it have to be the women that he abused? 😓
hee hee hee i never liked him
Until there is actual proof then just written account's from these woman stepping forward, I will wait to pass judgement on him. Also like many other creators, I have disassociated their work from themselves. Im only referring to people who have turned out to be messed up humans. I say this cause I don't think the books and other media I cherish shall be tarnished because of the creator's actions in their lives. I will always love sandman and all the other work Neil has written.
Even if they're satanic trash?
@@davidblyth6886 I believe I can read a book I love because I have my reasons for liking it. Sure if the creator became a horrible person that sucks and is truly horrible but, that doesn't and never had stopped my enjoyment for that specific book. Also I haven't read anything by a creator that became a satanist, so I believe my stance would remain the same if that time comes.

This video is regarded. What’s the point of reading an article if you’re gonna self censor 90% of it with blanks and add nothing of value to it? Annoying as hell. What are you 12? Or is your audience?
bud, go read the article bucko bubu buddy bear. okie bud?
He did that because TH-cam will demonetize content with such language in it; they won't promote the video and may even punish the channel's future content.
@@futurez12 I assumed so, but still i think he went overboard with the amount of censoring it was hard to follow what he was saying sometimes with all the “beeps”. Also why wasn’t he just honest about it that then, instead of painting it as him being so virtuous because he was really horrified at having to even utter the things this article said happened to these women.
So unfortunate that odd people sometimes make really good stuff
