- Friend and fellow Taste Buddy Helle Margaris Kroman invites us to her kitchen to show Lakis how to make traditional Zakynthian Paximathia. These rusk-style biscuits flavoured with warm spices and raisins are eaten all over Greece, with as many recipes for them as there are housewives and bakers that make them...but the Zakynthian paximathia are the best! Helle shares her mother-in-law's old family recipe for them...simple ingredients, simple to make...and simply perfect for dunking in your coffee! Paximathia keep very well in the biscuit tin, but they're so delicious they won't be in there for long!!

They are Heather...and you should make them! Perfect for your coffee and something very Zakynthian for your friends to try. If you're making them for children though, use orange juice instead of wine.
