I loved watching the Sorcerers with the great Boris Karloff! I was thrilled to be able to buy Boris Karloff's autograph a few weeks ago for only $20! It was very fragile, but I was able to repair it with archival mending tape. I mounted it in on an 8x10 glossy of Boris Karloff as Dr. Fu Manchu from 1932. If you enjoy horror movies, check out Smile 2. Naomi Scott is superb in this effective film!
I have a Boris Karloff autograph on my wall! Mine has a Cilla Black on the reverse, came from an autograph book. I have others as well ... Chris Lee, Vincent Price, Peter Cushing, Bela Lugosi, Lon Chaney Jr among them. I always wanted a Chaney Sr but that's not an easy One to get, he left this realm in 1930. Boris was amazing. ❤️
@@broken1394 Bela Lugosi! I'm green with envy. I have a Candace Hilligoss (Carnival of Souls), Gunnar Hanson (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), and a Zacherely autograph. All signed and inscribed to me. Treasured keepsakes all.
Been enjoying a lot of these films, some I had seen on TV over the years (never at the cinema). Plague was great, certainly one you could never take seriously as the whole idea is daft from the start but still a fun film. Many of these films are turning up on TV on talking pictures, legend xtra, rewind TV etc
My dear Andrew you have immaculate taste. Demons is very good and a big fan of the Sorcerers. I watched Gorgo for the first time last week ... Fun film, i'll probably pick up Konga soon. If you'd like a recommendation, may i say Monster on Campus a very late Universal film, certainly a fun one... Think the Creature walks amongst us and I was a Teenage Werewolf and you'll get the idea. Actually wouldn't be surprised if you have seen it. I've watched a lot Hitchcock he goes way back to the 30s, i hink. You can't go wrong with Klaus, the Herzog films are really something. Hope you're doing well. 🧛
Added those to my buy list, Gorgo definitely sounds a film for me and I will check out the Monsters one - there are still so many films I haven't seen in a long while. Klaus Kinski is ok, not a big fan but he was very good in Double Face and yes, in those Herzog films. Will steadily go through all the Hitchcock films, I have seen them over the years but never really sat down to watch and enjoy them - blurays / 4Ks give the whole experience with great pics and sound and all the extras as well. The Lodger ?? I think that was one of the earliest of the Hitchcocks ... Demons 2 ?? any good ? Have you seen that one
Really interesting Andrew, I like late '60s and early '70s TV but I've never seen Doomwatch. Dark Shadows is a very fun series from that era. From later years I enjoyed Tales from the Darkside. Recently I picked up DVDs of The Ray Bradbury Theater ('80s - early '90s). You can sample some of the Bradbury shows on TH-cam. Thanks for the video, nicely done as always...!
I have seen the Bradbury episodes over the years, doubt if the dvds are easily available here in the UK, likewise the Tales from the Darkside or Dark Shadows. Doomwatch is a UK show and the DVDs here are reasonably priced as are zillions of UK TV shows from the 70s (Children Of the Stones is one of my favourites and, of course, Dr Who and also Space 1999 and UFO and many others) Thank you for the comments about the video

@@broken1394 Yes! I saw Love play the Fillmore East back in February 1970. What a great night it was!
@@foursail100holy shit! That's absolutely amazing, a very underrated lp that, saw Arthur Lee a few times.

‘Curse of The Crimson Altar’, ‘The Sorcerers’, ‘The Plague of Zombies’ and ‘The Happening’. I've never watched any of them. Thanks for sharing.

You have the best taste in movies! Them is one of my favorites. A Masterpiece! 😅
Thanks Michael. I did enjoy Them. Love a lot of those old SF films from the 50s, they often turn up on the UK TV channels

I want to watch " Sorcerers"
Never seen it
Never seen it before, it was good fun in a weird 60s fashion
