The really cool part about this performance for me is that they learned that song in the 4 days prior to making that recording! 4 days from nothing to this amazing, kick ass performance! They are simply amazing, and I am not sure Ale gets enough credit for her flawless bass line on this. Dany kills it on lead guitar and vocals, and Pau is amazing as always but Ale keeps the bottom line going and that bass part is sooooo great to hear! Great reaction guys!
This was their initial cover of the song. I was blown away by this when they released it. The performance from the Whisky was done as a thank you to one of the fans who organized the Whisky show (he is a huge Metallica fan). As I said, this blew me away, while the Whisky performance left me entranced, frozen like a marble statue in the Taj Mahal of rock music. These three have that effect when you see them live. I don’t know why, exactly. Maybe its the unexpected nature of seeing three young women playing hard rock with such energy. Maybe they are Sirens, that are leading us not to our deaths, but to auditory bliss. Who knows for sure?
This was 2017. LONG ago in The Warning Years. Dany still with her Les Paul and Ale with her Fender Short scale Bass. Extremely impressive at this young age.
Who needs two guitars when you've got Dany? Great hard rock version of a metal song. You did the Whiskey performance before which was also a great version of this song. BTW, 17, 15, and 12 here.
Guys great job with your reaction to Atlas Rise Metallica song Covered by The Warning . You can tell how Talented Dany is from her playing the lead and rhythm at the same don't get me Wrong Pau and Ale are also Super Talented but just wanted to point out what Dany doing during this Cover.
About time guys - my favourite cover of theirs, and shows just how raw they can get, even if it is a cover, but bloody hell, what a cover. Ale's "Fender" bass is just killing it,proving its not only the "Spector"bass that she can manhandle, and as usual Pau is just the supreme master ? behind that drumkit whilst singing, and as usual - Dany - words just cannot give her enough kudos. And to think they learnt this in a few days, and what an inspired idea to split the vocals between Pau and Dany.
Story had it that the girls learned this song (since they knew Enter Sandman). They (Warning being an independent band was a big deal) had something going on with Metallica but it was cancelled.
I love this version from the warning. Im glad james Hetfield didn't trip about them doing a cover, i know sharon Osbourne tripped on crazy train cover.
i love that pau miked her kick drum like a metal sound with lots of batter attack for this song.... normally she goes for a way more dark bonzo style kick tone and you have hard time hearing her awesome double kick work... you can hear everything perfectly here

For you info: The Warning has a full wall mirror in front of them. So they can see themselves as well as each other.
These girls are alchemists, all they touch converts to gold!
Powerful Dany's solo.
