It was very sweet of Metallica to write this song for The Warning.
Welcome to the Warning Army ! You've been warned !! I'm Swedish, and I was there ! Not by accident either, I traveled all the way to LA specificly to see them at this private show at the Whisky ! (Crazy ? probably, but it was worth it !)
And that's not all, in 2017 I went to Mexico to see them open the big Mother Of All Rock Festival in their hometown Monterrey too ! And this past january I saw them at the Whisky again, this time they headlined two sold out nights, and a fellow countryman of yours, went there from Finland to see them too ! They are absolutely fantastic live !!
Best show I've been to ! When they come to Europe, you must go see them ! Promise !
Teary eyed... I am so fortunate to have been in that room to see that performance. It, indeed was the last song of a very long set (two hours), and when they started this song we all could hardly breathe from excitement. They don't play covers live anymore, but did Atlas Rise as a surprise gift to the organizer of the show. It was a private concert, purchased during the Kickstarter campaign for The Waarning's second album. I flew from Connecticut to California to attend, and many others flew in from all over the world. There were seven countries and 24 states represented in the crowd that night. It was one of the best nights of my life! This song was the icing on the cake. I'm so glad you liked it. This performance will always have a special place, in The Warning lore, for us fans.
Do you know what the best seats were selling for for this show? I know the Whiskey ain't cheap.

They played this song as a birthday present to the club owner. They had not played it in about 3 years so a few mistakes can be forgiven. Also it was the encore of a 22 song set.

You’re right, these girls don’t use autotune or something, if they make a mistake, or have a technical glitch, they deal with this perfectly... they arranged this song for a three piece band, just one guitar! Ale was already tired after this 2 hour show, but her basslines were perfect, better than a metronome! You’re not the first reactor with tears in your eyes, we fans know this from ourselves! 🥰👍⚡️🤘
Never have doubt about Paulina. She can certainly give Lars his run for the money. It's a matter of fact that a Metallica member praised Paulina's drumming as "kick maximum ass". What amaze me more is that they covered this song with only 1 guitar vs 2 guitars of the Metallica.

Yep,it was guitarist Kirk Hammett who said that after he saw their performance of "Enter Sandman". But bassist Rob Trujillo is also a fan,and said of their performance of "Atlas Rise" - " Rob approves". If only that tour with Metallica would've gone ahead - watch out Lars,haha
I also have had tears of Joy over The Warning! Rock has saviors, and their names are Dany, Pau and Ale! They just KILLED this song. I hear Metallica does a good cover of this song, too.
And, Yes, Ale sometimes sings lead.
Ok, another reactor did this song yesterday, and I’ll echo what I said then. If you want to hear a Metallica song with a perfect rhythm section, you have to listen to The Warning! Simply awesome 👌 👏 👍

They gave it a more hard rock feel rather than metal. And yes, you get what you get, mistakes and all, and when it's great it's amazing.
Ale is exhaust, this song is the longest of all in this concert. It was played at the final. They're fantastic musicians!!

I remember this show :D First time I saw them live! And remember, this was done after a very long show, almost all tracks from XXI Century Blood as well as all of Queen of the Murder Scene!

That was the energy they brought after a 22 song set! They've only played that song a handful of times. 🤘⚡🤘
I was there that night. It was the first time I got to see them live. You noted that it was the end of the set. It was actually the 22nd song they played that night. It was a 2 hour set of 21 originals, and closed it with this cover. They were totally exhausted. When I saw them after the show, they were wiped out. They left it all on the stage.
Keep in mind, Dany is covering for 2 guitars, Pau is singing while killing those drum parts. They aren't simple parts either.
Ale does sing from time to time when Dany isn't feeling well. There are fan videos of her singing Red Hands Never Fade and Hunter. She has a beautiful voice too, but she's not real comfortable singing lead. Maybe in due time. She is only 15 afterall. She was 14 in this video.

Dany, Pau, and Ale take the unbelievable and make it happen.Also, this was the encore after a 2 hour show. You can see how exhausted Ale is at about 9:02.
These 3 young ladies are epic .I don't think there is a band from past or present and the future that could play 21 songs plus atlas rise to end the nite period .The Warning are so very very talented and passinate. There will never be another like them .it's so amazing awesome 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

I had to smile straight away when you said you had doubts how the three of them would manage it. They played Atlas Rise as an encore after over 2 hours of show. And now you have to wonder how the Metallica guys are going to do it. The girls made the song theirs. And why are the girls so good? Because they have been rehearsing together every day since early childhood. Which band already lives under one roof and has the rehearsal room in the basement? I wanted to tell you a little bit about TW 2nd. Album Queen of the Murder Scene a concept album that tells a story of longing, regret, self-loathing, and follows a woman into full-on psychosis. Rock Opera - Lyrics and Music by The Warning. best done in order so you can get a full grasp of how amazing these ladies are as singer-songwriters.
Some of the performances are more recent so I tried to vary it for you to showcase their amazing talent!
If you decide to do them individually each song stands on its own, there is not a bad song in this album in my opinion.

So I went on you tube and the home page came on and one of the many things to click on was a box that had in big letters "The Warning" with a picture of three girls. I thought what? these girls are going to do a Queensryche cover I got to see this. I thought they were going to attempt to do a cover of Queensryche's song "the warning" from the album "The Warning" When I clicked on it, it didn't song anything like Queensryche's song the warning. And that's because it wasn't even that song. Instead it was one of there own songs an original of there's and I've been listening ever since. I binged and now know every song they've created and all thier covers. And don't worry about that tearing up thing it never goes away and I don't want it to. But I don't tear up I just out of nowhere start full on crying. I broke into a small cry 3 times just writing this comment. It's a beautiful thing. I cry because of there energy, there purity and just everythihng they are.

Ale moves a lot on stage and made over 50 knee bends and 40 knee lifts in this song. That’s a full set in a gym and that came after a 2 hour concert and 21 previous songs!!

Johi - Yes, the little sister Ale can also sing (although she doesn't like to sing lead}. In this acoustic version of Sinister Smiles she sings quite a lot of harmony with her sisters. She is the one singing the high part.

This is probably the last cover the Warning will do live as a band. They did a cover of Breed from Nirvana. That was with their opening act as an encore. They killed it. But The Warning as a cover band is past.
