Please stay tuned to this channel for a new video with some cool updates to the Snow Rover. We are now using a Lithium (LiPo) battery from Lithova, poly scraper blade and stepper motor for chute control.

Nice! Next step is to use open cog or something similar to it on it.... BTW it seams like you are using electric drive on it, and its powerful enough to almost stall the engine :-)
This machine is the Ariens Deluxe 28" model. You will have better throughput with a powerful engine - Ariens Deluxe SHO or Ariens Platinum SHO (super high output) models.

The motors are customized for Ariens machines and the track system is customized as well. Thanks for your interest Nuno.
Put a camera on it, and you could do it inside your house in a PC monitor.
You will need a low latency camera, like the one below. ROTG01 or compatible FPV receiver required as well.

I love when people snowblow into the wind. Precious. Blow the snow WITH the wind, people 🤦♂️
The wind changes direction too, so it's not that simple. You don't need to worry when you have a remote controlled blower.
When I lived in the Midwest, I had to blow and Shovel the Snow to Both sides of the Driveway, otherwise I could run out of places to put the snow. Last year I lived there, we didn’t have a thaw. Had to hire someone to put the Snow in the Woods.
That is cool, you must have too much time on your hand.
Time to add a GPS and auto turn and auto track.

Thank you @larrykluckoutdoors8227. I'm a mechanical engineer and software engineer, so you have this and more to come. Automation is something that will happen eventually and takeover most of the mundane tasks.
GPS needs RTK solution with centimeter level accuracy. So you are looking at a subscription model to get the corrections for accuracy and cost of the GPS hardware itself.
This machine does the best job of all the ones I’ve seen on here. How much does it cost to do this?
John, thanks for appreciating the capabilities of the Snow Rover. The conversion kit currently costs anywhere between $2500 and $3600 depending on the drive system (track drive or wheel drive) and the options selected.
All conversion kit parts are made of steel. Rubber tracks and wheels are made from durable materials.
@@SnowRover So, it's a kit that one can buy from a store or online? I was about to congratulate you on a most impressive RC build. On the other hand, you did put everything together properly and it is doing a great job so I guess congratulations are in order. Are there any interference issues?
Cliff, thanks for your question about the RC interference. We use the Spektrum DXs transmitter and it is bound to the AR620 RC receiver placed in the control box on the machine (we use failsafe binding, so you will not have a runaway machine or any sort of interference). The conversion kits will be available for purchase on snowrover.net

Just needs a camera setup and you can snowblow your yard from your couch.
I might be wrong but it looks like it might have a go pro mounted near the discharge shoot.
We have positioned a camera just behind and above the discharge chute and that gives a good view and you see the direction of the snow discharge.

You can purchase the Ariens Deluxe SHO machine or Ariens Platinum and make it remote controlled. These machines have powerful engines that can throw snow quite well.
