I'm in the process of building one too but yours if definitely sick! Fantastic job and such a sweet design. Thanks for the motivation (cool background tunes too).
2,5 min .... plow in back also... Plowing wen you're reversing.. When the front goes up, the rear one goes down... Had been cool to see.. Nice job I must learn rc controls :)
Very nice, I`ve been looking for a new father son project. Did you follow any open forum plans or just design yourself ? You mind sharing some of the motor/battery specs?
Thanks for the suggestion. I am thinking to open a forum and hopefully before this winter. I am not very satisfy with the motor so still trying to find a better one. My ultimate goal is to make it a general robot platform hopefully.
Hey Jack. I just saw this. Excellent build!! How many hours? Is it possible to get your back of the envelope Plans/Material list for a DIY project rather than recreate the wheel. Which came first you or roboplow.??? I was planning on building using scooter/wheelchair motors, sprockets and a converted 7 channel RC helicopter controller. Any thoughts?
That's a good idea to have website. we are planning to create a website and make it open source and crearte a forum to futher make it fully autonomous.
Any more yet on this? I'd like to understand the motors and such as well as what h-bridge your using, etc. Even a video showing the inside with a quick walk thru would be awesome.
That was made a long time ago I don't recall the exact amount. Should be less than $1k depending on what what kind of electronics to choose. it can handle 4-6 inches snow I guess.
Awesome build, can you share how many watts your motors put out?

Thanks David!
I need one of these. Awesome built 🙏👍🙏👍🙏
How can I buy one of these?
That's an awesome machine! Really well done!!!
Thanks for the nice comment!
Amazing traction for six wheels. We’re they studded tyres

Amazing - is this in the market in the US and where ?
nice. where can i download the plans?
Nice! It would maybe benefit from slower gearing and some ballast weight. Looks like it's quite hard to control, although it can travel fast.
Hi, what pnovmatics u use to upper/lower is 12V or higher?
*name
*voltage
How much for this machine?
I have a problem with motor selection so can you help me. I want to drive a robot in two motors
I bet if you put stud's in the tires if would help it a lot nice work
Did you design it?
Cool do u sell them too?

+Jack Ding did you get that forum up?
newimaging Did you get a link up yet?
Great job ! Guess you are using 24V linear motors. I also use them on my plow, but they are quite slow. I am using Linak motors, what are you using ?
Thanks! Are you talking about the linear actuators to control the front plow? yes, mine is slow too.
jak silnik 2szt? ile prm i moc??
put a nice couple of cameras on there and a coin machine and you got the best business ever lol

This sounds good. I'm building one as well to double as lawnmower in summer and snow plow in winter. Lets see...
Nice snowplow, which motorcontroller are you using to raise and lower the plow ?
We use linear actuator and relays to control it.
I'd love to see pictures of the inside and what parts you used
You would like that, wouldnt you.
@@excelsior8682 Yes, so I can build one...
amazing snowplow. can you show your robot inside or say what motors you used
I am using regular DC ( not brushless) motors.
Yes I would like to see "under the hood "
Hey Jack, what's your wheel size and motor spec? Thanks!
Hey BaThach, they are 12 or 13 inches wheel ( simliar to the 2-stage snow blower ones). I think I used two 24v 250w - 350w scooter motors.
Hi! I'm from the largest university in Norway, and I would love to contact you and ask you some questions about your machine
You Sir are the biggest Boss of mankind
Man I’d buy one!! How can I contact you???
Love to build 1 and put FPV on it
I agree
how much?
thanks for not showing how to build it
Awesome job on the machine...do you have a website where we can see the construction of it?

How much does it weigh?
little less than 400lb.
Real deal :)
Why does no one patent these to sell? So many people would use this instead of shoveling or paying a company to do it
How much money did you spend to build the robo plow. How deep of snow can it handle?

I’d like to work you guys to add an AI module
Take my money
IT HAS NO SOUL!
Will add one :-) in near future!
Instructions please :)
Seriously .. you need to commercialize this.
a little too fast?
honestly I played it a little faster...the machine itself is about 400lb.
Good machine.
Thanks KKuurus!
It's a bug!
Good imagination! It does look like bug!
Shut up and take my money
I'm sure it's cheaper to buy a plow.
Schönes Teil , aber leider "" nur "" zum Schnee schieben, schau mal hier th-cam.com/video/9eXGnwdIFPw/w-d-xo.html
