Every Magatsuhi threshold, he increases the turns he replaces the elemental attacks by 1, which makes the end a slog where he spams 8 Freikugels in a row before resetting back to elemental attacks.

If NRD'd, the move gets replaced by Freikugel. - After every Magatsuhi turn, he shifts forth one element (meaning he'll start with Fire Dracostrike after his first Magatsuhi turn, Ice after his second, so on and so forth...) and his Almighty replacement lasts one more turn (after his sixth Magatsuhi turn, he can spam up to 10 Freikugel as it circles back to the first element you null+'d.) - After the fourth magatsuhi turn, he starts using Recalcitrant Execution instead of Freikugel once per turn.
From watching the video I kiiiinda of understand his AI but you are going to need some sort of strategize/adversity bs to maybe make it work So he does his usually spam going through each element This video pretty much confirms what we said about him only healing whenever you hit him with an affinity and since you never did no heals! So he did Fire (repel) Freikugel Ice (repel) In phase 1 this would reset but they linger for an additional turn so he now does Freikugel Freikugel Elec (repel) Then *technically* his Ice would be Freikugel however since his Fire has been Freikugel twice it now reverts to fire so ice doesnt get the double. After his second magatsuhi he shuffles forward in the cycle again to start with Ice so Ice (repel) Freikugel Elec (repel) Freikugel Freikugel Force (repel) Notice this time his Freikugels linger even longer as he then did: Freikugel Freikugel Freikugel Light (Repel) So 1st phase they linger 1 turn after first magatsuhi they linger 2 turns and now after the second magatsuhi they linger three turns. If you went FULL Vitality is it consistent to tank 1 Freikugel while guarding at that low level maybe 2 if you have some overheal and can keep a buff or something applied. Maybe there’s a way to chip down and pull off a quick kill before he can use triple Freikugels
So, this is exactly the conclusion I came up with: he's no threat if you only RESIST all his hits, as he can't crit and never use Almighty moves. The issue is he gets his 5-7 Press Turns to fully act upon them and the damage does stack after a while. Also, you need to spam Almighty moves or he'll heal. Focusing on a single element can work, but not that good. I suggest just going full resist and spam Almighty moves, as elemental moves do piss damage compared to Freikugel (and Recal.) Also yeah, with all that spamming, he was bound to get hiccups in the AI.

I would have loved if for some reason True Masakado's attacks getting reflected back at him give him press turns should they have been crit brave blade's or struck a weakness of any elemental variety.
The starts still vastly differ (I think True Masakado still has double regular Masakado's HP, and about a 100-point difference in each stat.) Aside from that, still the Press Turn count, from 5 to 7.

@@galvusgalvoid1510 It's mainly sponges and enemies using Omagatoki: Pierce instead of Critical, mainly. Same for Challenges, except Challenge Mode gives one extra press turn to every fight, turning some into nightmares, like Tsukuyomi.
Yeah honestly it's not fun. I had the idea of using Girimekhala (NG+ Newborn making it possible) to repel 3 times the damage, but he keeps breaking out of taunt, so the fight is unmanageable.

He does. You actually don't want him to get repelled because he replaces his attacks by Almighty attacks for a few turns. The way this fight is intended is to have Resisting demons and you don't attack his weaknesses (so, you are the one spamming Almighty) or he spams Diarama the same way he does Freikugel.

Pretty much how SMT V works outside of 999 Challenge Mode. Once Nahobino is all 999, farming 50M Macca is as easy as 2-3 Taito Rotations.

Combination of both: Lucifer's Essence repels Ice, Elec and Dark innately, and the rest are passives.

He never used Megidolaon, since his build is Strength-based. You must mean Recalcitrant Execution, which he uses a ton.
