    Dude the convenience of cordless is awesome. I don't have a garage like 1/2 the folks here in Maine so cordless is really convenient. I have a Ryobi 10' orbital that polishes my red GTI to mirror sheen. Good vid. That Dewalt looks killer. Now...where'd I put my IPA...

    I’ve always been a makita guy for a rotary. I purchased a flex “the beast” for my dual action and a little griots for waxing. Been thinking about getting a cordless for inside of boats. Instead of dragging the cord around a boat with you. Nice video. Have you looked at the dewalt dual action? Makita has a force rotation dual action also!!! Have you looked into these yet? Just found your channel. I’ll keep watching. Thanks. ( wax on Marine key west Florida )

      @@detailit Exactly how I was! Just like you. I got into Flex because I was using their VRG-3401 gear driven polisher (before Rupes Mille came to the market). Then the Flex Rotary. Then the smaller rotary. - So i grew to love the Flex tools. As much as I wanted the then-new cordless Flex XCE, the gear driven one, I didn't want to pay the price for the complete kit. Eventually, I bought the DeWalt 20v Random Orbit polisher. It's been good. I was already in the "yellow and black" system with several tools and a handful of batteries. Fast forward, I bought the Flex XCE! LOVE IT. Such a great tool. I just about stopped using my other 9 or so polishers. The Flex mini cordless, the PXE....such a remarkable little machine. (Actually, I bought that before the XCE). Anyway....The DeWalt is great, especially for the price. Can't beat it. The speed dial on the DeWalt is the absolute best I've ever tried on any of several machines from the big polishing names. The lock function when NOT in use has come in handy a couple of times. The only gripe I have with the DeWalt, is the high pitch sound when on. It can drive some nuts. The Flex is much more quieter in that regard.

      BTW, what's the typo?? I'll check it out?

    • @bulletbling
      @bulletbling 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@detailit The obvious typo is a space between "flex" and the exclamation marks (whenever I see that, I always assume a foreigner wrote it because people from other countries, like France and Russia, tend to do that). If I'm being picky, the word "heres" should have an apostrophe, like this: [here's].
      Btw, Id like to see a video of you testing out Koch Chemie Active Foam vs just pressure washing the panel (up close to get rid of the dirt) alone. No one else has this directly (or for any pre-wash / pre-soak). Everyone just shows how clean a pre-wash gets the car, but I always feel that the pre-wash isn't going to remove anything additional that the pressure washer wont when close to the paint as you'd normally do to get rid of dirt before washing. Just a thought!

    • @detailit
      @detailit  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @bulletbling nice, Okay gotcha. I was wondering if I should be more precise and use apostrophes... my bad. Most of the time I do not use proper punctuation. Lazy I guess...
      As far as Koch Chemie, I'll see what I can do! That's all I need is more soap... I have probably 20 🧼 soaps🤦🏽‍♂️🤣. Thank YOU for getting back to me👊🏼
