Awesome . Fond memories of Christmas. 💞
Yes. Enjoy!
Hi Wendy, thanks for your LOVELY Christmas recipes. I use a Gnocchi Board too after I attended a Gnocchi class. May I include two tips. I love the wider ridges of a fork so I turned my Gnocchi Board over and with a wood file, filed a few lines so I have two sides - one with finer likes and one with wider lines. Tip two: Roll out a bundle of dough approx. 1/2 inch thick. Cut strips and roll each strip like a bread stick. Cover with saran to prevent drying. Cut each strip into nuggets like you did. Does speed up the process. Remember the time when we used to break off tiny pieces of dough and roll them into balls - what a tedious process. They thought we were having fun, little did they know how bored we were.😜
😂

These Kulkuls look absolutely delicious. Love the color & I'm sure the coconut milk really adds to the rich taste!😋 Truly an Awesome recipe!😘👌💥🎊
Thanks Fiona, this is a must make Christmas treat every year😊
Thanks Wendy for sharing your recipe. You dont add semolina for the crunch🤔
@@2012espi No Espi, I find that Kulkuls without semolina have a better crunch and they roll out neater.

Your recipies are always good. But what excites me more is the themed bowls and spatulas used! 😅❤😊
Thanks Leena for your kind words.
Hi Wendy merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to you too🎄
Hi Wendy love your recipes. Where can I get the curlers you've been using.
Rosie it’s a gnocchi form that I got from William Sonoma.
Hello Wendy, your vlogs are so good, with a standard, order and beauty. Thank you
Also any possibility of baking kulkuls? Or would the ingredients change?
Thank you.
Thanks for your kind words but I have always only fried Kulkuls 😊😋🎄
Thanks for your response to my query, Wendy!
Any time! Have a great day Thelma.
From which country are you?
Thanks Wendy waiting for your nevris recipe plz
😂😂 coming soon
Very good pl show how to make puffs with layers stuffing with fresh coconut s
Sure will do
Hi Wendy!
Love your cryptic explanation and expertise.
Just wanted to know... Are you originally Goan?
Would keeping the kulkul dough in the fridge/freezer be okay in order to manage the the tedious long process of rolling kulkuls, the next day or later on? Would it affect the texture or how to rectify it if it does?
Please advise.
Thanks!
Yes I am! 😊 You could keep it in the fridge and complete forming the Kulkuls the next day. Just let the dough come to room temperature and knead it once again😊🎄Enjoy!
The square ones in Kingsburg are called kormolas
I am waiting to try this recipe next week, I have ordered the mould through Amazon. Your recipies are too good thanks a ton . I had tasted sugar powder sprinkled kulkuls in Mangalore.... Cheers bye merry Christmas to you and your family members 😊
Thanks Ronica for your kind words & support.
Wendy, everything you did in making kul kuls reminded me of my mum and grandmother making them. I used to watch as a child and allowed to help shape them with a fork.
That was in the late 50's to 60's. One thing I recall is we always frosted the kul kuls after frying and cooling them. Do you also frost some of them or always serve unfrosted?
I forgot to mention that the frosting I mentioned was dipping them in a cooked syrup that coated them and firmed to a sugar frosting.
Hello Wendy, do you make layered neories? If so, please share the recipe. Thankyou
Coming soon Patrick so stay tuned 😊🎄
Thank you so much Wendy for your message to be frank I too did try frying few but got so fed up that I now bake my kulkuls
So do you have to add a baking agent like baking powder @audreydmello4698 ?
I'm going to try this tempting recipe..I have never mixed the egg in milk👍🏼 but any tip for the froth that forms while frying kulkuls. ? Thank you.
Lower the heat just a bit😊
👍👍👍😁🌺💕
