In case you didn't know burnt raison taste amazing. My Dad use to make a pork crown roast with sauerkraut and raisons. Some of the raisons would burn partially and fully. I liked the partially burned ones.

What sweets have the longest shelf-life (so they could be made the earliest), what sweets do you leave to the very end, because they have the shortest shelf- life? Etc. I know, for example, that Christmas cake can be made well in advance, but with the other items I don’t know, so I end up cramming them in at the very end, and it makes for a very stressful process. Cleopatra, it’s very easy to make mawa at home. I will add the recipe and process to my Neuris recipe on my website.

Yes for sure, bake them at 360F/180C for 20-25 minutes
What is semolina and koya? Never heard of either of these. Where do you get them
Semolina is coarsely milled durum wheat. Koya (Mawa) is thickened milk. You can get both products at any Indian grocery store.
