2022 might be the last year for the ZX14R. We'll see next year what Kawasaki does. I remember going to see the ZX14 when it first came out in 2006 at my local dealer. This is the 17th. year for the big Ninja. Mine is a 2013 and it still runs great. Ride safe!

I like that color. I have had 3 of these ZX14's their fantastic in comfort and handling. The power is first class. Don't forget to ride in and around Austin, Texas and the hill country.
I remember that day for me. Those Uhaul bike haulers are great, no worries, but don't plan on running one of these up to a flat trailer side as the fender will hit. Bring a wheel check, Cycle Gr. type and you're good. My favorite bike I've ever owned or ridden.
When I picked up my 2020, drove it off the showroom floor, got on the interstate, gave it a little throttle, my head snapped back, and I almost made a U-turn and went back to the dealership and say "Nope"...lol. Man, that thing has SO much power it's ridiculous. It's very comfy for my 6'3 frame. But yeah, those bazookas had to go. I went with some Hoffman slipons. Those things are inexpensive, but sound very good, and very loud with the baffles out. Enjoy!!
I almost bought the same bike but I hate that color sooo much that I bought their used 2100 mile 2019 and love it. Just changed the oil the other day so I’m good for another 2k miles. All I’ve done is lower the rear, adjustable kickstand & adjustable centerstand, delkevic slip on exhaust, Moore mafia tuned ecu, 1” handlebar risers and zero gravity touring windscreen.
Nice bike. Makes me miss my old zx14r which was a rocket ship. It's a shame Kawasaki is no longer updating this model. Last of the great big bore hyper bikes.
I got the 2020 version, last year to come out in my country, I've had some mods done to it, one being a centre stand added, now I want some slip ons to get rid of those ugly exhausts, however some of the slip ons I've looked at state that they won't fit if you have a centre stand already fitted, to do with the fittings and space I believe, I hope this is not the case.. Best all round bike ever.. 😀
Ha ha, mine clunks into first too! Great performance but watch out for corrosion especially on fasteners and satin black parts. Sadly they discontinued it here in UK in 2020... I would have bought another but there's nothing out there that compares, so I'm sticking with my 2017 Performance Sport.

It ended up getting stuck on the container ship for about 2 months when there was that ship yard strike or something two years ago so it delayed it quite a bit.
Hi congratulations it is an awesome machine. I have a question; I also have a 2022 Kawasaki zx14r and I am having an issue with high frequency engine vibrations that increase at higher speeds. I have taken it to the dealer and contacted Kawasaki and they are telling me it is normal. Have you had any issues with yours.? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

@@KandAshow Im the same size. I own a Triumph Sprint ST with 1" bar risers. My neck and shoulders just can't do the really bent over thing anymore for any length of time. How's the riding position for older guys like me. My Sprint is about perfect in that regard. Just looking for more juice.
At 01:58 . As I did see how a Zx14 screen load before, it definitely takes longer than that to start up. But he cranked it within a sec or two. Screen and diagnostic definitely still starting up. I always let any screen finish loading up/ fuel pump sound to go off prior to cranking.

Yeah, it's a shame. One of the reasons he wanted to get it is because it was the last of a generation. He's very happy with it.

I was amazed to see the brand new 2022 ZX-14 priced at $!3,995 and sitting next to a 2022 Hayabusa priced at $20,995. 7K plus is huge in my opinion...

It was January and where we live it was below 40F, roads were cold and wet with loose salt and gravel from melted snow.
I would of had to ride it home

Great bike, however cant understand why a minority doesnt *let the fuel injection prime first* prior to cranking.

It was below freezing temps and there were spots on the road with snow slop and ice still. That was the reason it was trailered home.
