    I have the Z Flip 6 and there are small but meaningful upgrades. The crease is hardly noticeable, it comes with more ram and cameras are much better than the Flip 5. The cover screen is quite useful, but you have to install Good Lock to load the apps. Why Samsung hasn’t made more native cover screen apps is a mystery to me. And it does support a Dex like interface but it is difficult to use. The price increase in the US is not as important as the trade in values.

      I don't understand why they make it hard to do a bunch of things.

      the cam upgrade is much more than small to me. i am a portrait artist and use photography and enjoy the improved quality of the 6 images

    The biggest upgrade with the flip 6 is the enhanced durability and seven year update policy.Cameras are better, the battery is better. The extra ram is a godsend and the made for galaxy Snapdragon gen 3 future proofs the device. But my favourite upgrade is the black edition with Matt sides it goes amazing with my Spigen Aramid case.

    Good review. About the LG vacuum cleaners, it's funny that they moved away from phones but are sponsoring phone reviews. It seemed a little bit random but I think you could have included it in the camera portion of the video. if you own a LG vacuum, you could have showed off the phone's video camera and mic by filming an LG vacuum, kinda like how in one of your ear bud reviews the advert was in the mic test which I thought was smart.

    I do like the look of the Samsung hardware this year, but for flip phones, the Motorola Razrs this year are also looking like a much better option. Software that is closer to stock is right for me.

    These are some cool aesthetic changes and the slightly wider screen is good. For someone that has a Zold 5, like myself, I wonder how much of a difference is felt.

      I do really like how they integrating the AI communication features with the split screen. Also the AI being done on device is a big win.

    trying to decide if the flip 6 is worth $350 with flip 5 trade in. i get more ram, battery, and better camera, plus it's newer so life of the parts "should" be better. plus the 6 has the dual sim which i will need for upcoming travels which the flip 5 does not.

    • @roguephoenix
      @roguephoenix 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@roger1624 I bet that ram is good. My flip 5 does ok I'm more after the dual sim, camera improvement, battery improvement and hopefully better overall than the 5

    Samsung has definitely fallen behind in the foldable space. The OnePlus Open and the Pixel Fold are preferrable to me.

    Waiiit, a phone that flips down could be really ideal for women who are deeply saddened by how stupidly tiny their pockets are...
    I still have my Samsung S20 FE, and ever since then, I'm good. Still perfectly happy with the specs. Before that I was waiting for a phone that would finally give me a camera that can take a photo inside in semi low light, and the FE did that. It's not even the flagship (my first non-flagship phone), because I didn't need it.
    I only care about a very short list of basic features that I want done well, so it's an interesting situation. My FE actually has a thing where the damn phone will restart if I access the camera after like 4 seconds. The way usually around it is to open the camera, then open the windows or whatever ("recents" apparently), and then click back into the camera. For whatever stupid reason. That's a REALLY annoying one, because when you're taking a photo, usually time is of the essence, but no, now I gotta wait like 3 minutes. Super irritating.
    Buying a whole new phone for this dumb nonsense is pretty bad. I wonder what the Samsung S20 FE replacement phone is (maybe Samsung, definitely Android), that has specs that are not worse than the FE but also they don't have to be like, any better... don't need to spend ALL the money now.

    I use a Fold 4 and that screen not opening fully is such a shot at my ocd self. So i just use the outside screen and open the phone only to use it as a stand to take photos. Repairing is out of the question ain't no way, I'm spend nearly $400 to replace the whole internal display unit.
    I'll buy a new fold, only when they fix that issue also improve the cameras, how are they still using ancient sensors on modern super premium phone. Like atleast try please, Samsung.

    I agree with you i i big iPhone users and i was excited to get it and I did and 1 days in with fold 6 and flip 6 I don’t see any difference from last year and the battery sucks dies fast and takes forever to charge, but I think the pixel will destroy both of those phones. If not, I’m going back to the iPhone.😂
