this is much better actually. I saw a video that he removed 2 SSD and get 2 enclosures just to clone the SSD from a computer. this is much easier and less hassle than that. You just need 1 enclosure to connect to the legion go and clone from there. props for that! Thank you for this video!

Thank you for this video. Was easy to follow and upgrade my Le Go with 2TB visiontek SSD. Have to say, tried to register 5yr warranty without success. Buyer be aware: Terrible customer service at visiontek.

The foil on the SSD is for Electro Magnetic Interference, not heat. Unfortunatley, due to the size of these handhelds, the VisionTek is the fastest drive you can use without overheating. Sabrent makes one as well, both will throttle the SSD speeds when head increases.

Great video, David. 😉 Super explains, and everything is easy to understand. 👍 Consider buying a "Lenovo Legion Go" for myself. If you look around the Internet to get one with higher memory (i.e. more than just the measly 512 GB installed), you will currently only find at most offers with 1 TB, which is still far too little for today's games (since they already and in the future need more memory, because they are becoming more and more complex), where the prices for the 1 TB version of the "Lenovo Legion Go" are totally exaggerated. That's why I can't understand, and I think for everyone here, why the manufacturers can't do it better, or what the consumers demand. 🤔 It must also be possible, and it must be made easy to expand the memory itself, if it should no longer be sufficient, without which the guarantee is directly lost. Because it is only a memory card (memory module), which you change (change), and does not change anything about the system (the hardware). With smartphones, this is also possible without problems 😄 P. S.: Therefore, it cannot be that the temperature of the device rises just because you replace a memory card (a memory module SSD) with the same type (the same version) of the manufacturer. There is only more storage available than before. That's all. Similarly, there should be no upper limit on the extent to which the memory can be expanded as long as you adhere to the manufacturer data (memory type designations). 🤔 Because the development, in terms of memory sizes, does not stop. In the future, you could replace your currently installed 4 TB SSD memory card (memory module) with 8 TB without having to buy a new device directly. The same should apply to MicroSD cards. A good product should deal with a higher memory upgrade without any problems. Everyone is talking about sustainability. 😃 Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪 to All ✌️ Looking forward to the next videos of you, David.

Don't use the Visontek drive, they will damage your LGO. They overheat, you can't go bigger then 1TB with a Gen4, you can try a Gen3 2TB. I would stick with the stock drive.
