RV are incredible!!! They're called The Best Idol Group Alive.... The Queens of Harmony..... The Bside Queens.... Queens of k R&B..... Musically, Vocally, Versatility as a group they're considered the best!!! They have the best discography in all of kpop... They debuted before Twice and black Pink..... really good friends with both groups!!! They're Often referred to as the Perfect Group!!! All five are Vocal Beasts each hitting F5 with ease. They have been in the game for 10 years putting out hit after hit.... They are loved in the industry and everyone wants to work with them.... they consider them Legends/Icons. Song recommendation.... I suggest Wildside, kingdom Come, I Just, Automatic, Body Talk, Dumb Dumb. Truth is there discography is so deep you can choose any and you wont be disappointed.

Red Velvet hits different.
Red Velvet is one of the biggest K-pop act. The only problem is the lack of support and promotion from their company. Imagine all the producers in the US that wants to work with them but SM declined
Omg I don’t know why they wouldn’t give them all the support and promotion in the world?!? They are AMAZINGGGG and deserve so much! I’m so sad that the label would decline potential collabs. Hopefully things will change soon!

The reason why they aren't as big as the 2 GGs you mention is because they don't stick to one concept or genre unlike those 2 groups and also because SM doesn't promote them as they should. They are very experimental with their music and they are the only group that can slay that with those top tier vocals,visual and concept. Hope you can relate to more of their music specially their B-Sides. They aren't crown as the Billboards Best Idol Group alive for nothing.
I like how they switch things up and are experimental with sound and looks. It keeps everyone on their toes. I’m excited to get into more of their catalog and be blown away by their music! Everyone keeps saying what vocal queens they are - I’m excited!
I hope you check out more Redvelvet, they also had a Japanese comeback with a mv it’s called “Wildside” I know you guys will love it!
I also recommend checking out Everglow and specifically their songs “LaDiDa” and “DunDun” I think you guys will enjoy it very much!

Wow I occasionally listen to Red Velvet. I really like Psycho, bad boy, queendom, Monster (Irene,Seulgi), written in the stars by Wendy and John Legend. Weird thing but I actually didn’t know Joy was part of RV cuz I thought she was just an actress with a nice voice lol I really like Wendy’s voice it sounds so sweet.
Wait - Joy acts?? What was she in?? I need to check it out! Oh man, I can’t wait to dive deeper into more Red Velvet! Everyone has so many good suggestions to start with ☺️☺️

Perfect Velvet, The Red and RBB - these are pretty much perfect albums. Also check their fan ranking on bubbleflex channel for almost all of their songs (around 90). That should give you an idea of what to listen to. I've been into Kpop since Gen1 and RV is probably the most diverse, quirky and talented GG I've seen. Definitely the best GG of the last decade for me. No hate on BP or TW but RV is just different kettle of fish, in a wonderful way. :)

I love Red Velvet so much I'm so excited for this! Random thought from just the beginning of the video though, I'd love it if you reacted to View by SHINee. Their member Jonghyun was inspired to write the lyrics after a conversation on his radio show with a fan who has synesthesia and it's been used as a relatable example in korean schools when teaching about it! The official video doesn't have english subs on it because it's a little older, 2015, but there's a fanmade version by AcrossTheOceaniWillFindYou or a very good color coded lyric video by yankat.
For a second video you could react to one of their most recent songs called Don't Call Me, it was a huge comeback after 3 members completed their military service and has a totally different vibe from anything they'd done before (which happens a lot, they're very versatile). You mentioned doing research on Red Velvet so I'm sure you'll do it if you react to SHINee too, but I'll just tell you that song unfortunately only has 4 members in it because Jonghyun passed away in 2017. His art and influence will live with us forever though and we and the boys will always consider SHINee a 5 member group

I love to see people react to Red Velvet because they are super talented but not so well known. Btw Feel My Rhythm was released on Bachs birthday. They have a red side that is more bright pop type and a velvet side that’s more r&b. React to Automatic, Ice Cream Cake, RBB, Bad Boy, Red Flavor (all their title tracks and b-sides are so good!) Then there’s Sub-unit Irene and Seulgi their songs Monster and Naughty. Solos Wendy - Like Water, Joy - Hello and Yeri - Dear Diary. I’m their fan Reveluv / luvie 😊

Redvelvet Is only kpop group who changes their concept for each and every new comeback. They're also known for Concept Queen And Its hard to understand the concept LIke in Psycho U can see Joy is the Imposter and in end u can see Irene Is singing its alright and girls are playing happy and Irene normalise all the things and where in Feel my rhythm Seulgi is the queen and want to control all the members as u can see in last Irene gives Strawberries to wierd person and All members ate that except Joy and last seulgi see's her anger as she fails.......2 Theory Irene would be the Imposter coz she want all Power (Coz u can see previous songs were she is controlling all the members)and Irene offers the strawberries to all the members and she succeeded Except joy and you can see Yeri comes out of her shell and she want her power back. Its Always confusing Coz in each and every comeback Irene Wants to kill some one or Control them like a doll........
Loved your reaction! You always have great special guests! I don't know much about Red Velvet, but I love both of these songs and m.v.'s. I also heard them sing "Psycho" live, which was amazing (th-cam.com/video/Pg7nBHXQCCA/w-d-xo.html). The only other Red Velvet song I know is "Russian Roulette," which I learned about when Hobi and J.K. did the choreo (th-cam.com/video/BlHQb9ygjGY/w-d-xo.html). I teach architectural history and one of the thing architecture students for a project is research architectural precedents (i.e., other buildings) to use as inspiration for their design. Like Luke intimated, great art is built on great art of the past. The key is synthesizing inspiration rather than copy pasting.

Next Level is prob their most famous song, and the choreo become viral (The hand part), and as a tiktok challenge many idols did the choreo too.
Black Mamba (Their debut), achieved 21mi in the first 24hours. Is the record for a debut song, followed by DALLA DALLA from itzy with 17mi.
Savage is the song people asks more, not my personal favorite, but seems to be of the majority :P
Dreams come true is the most recent one, and sounds a bit different from the other 3 songs, it's a bit more calm, or less agressive song.
Forever is a ballad, not with extreme high notes, but a calm vocal focused song with a slow tempo, and the less liked song that as a MV (by the number of views)
