Red Velvet has just released their newest song "Chill Kill" and this group has just appeared on Killing Voice. I hope you watch Killing Voice because he has extraordinary talent in terms of singing.
I thought they just brought that song out, but actually they brought out a whole new album (in case you haven’t seen it). There are some absolute bangers on there🔥
Red Velvet, tops in Vocals, Visuals, Concepts (very experimental), Choreo, Discography, Weaponry….they are already legends. Idols of idols and covered by many. Original visuals!

Mamamoo and Red Velvet debuted within months of each other. Moonbyul and Seulgi are close friends. They said on a show they were on together that their vans were parked next to each other in a parking lot and they opened the doors and exchanged numbers soon after RV's debut
Oh, yes... "Ledeu BelBet" is here, ladies and gentlemen... And we love them... Thanks for the reaction with one of their best songs (if not the best, in my opinion)... They are the vocal queens as well, along with our Mamamoo girls...
@@CoachCastTVone of the things about them is that the MVs don't usually go along with the lyrics and the lyrics don't go along with the song, per se... Actually their lyrics are kinda dark and creepy... They talk about a "horror movie" while the song is a "fun summer song" 😂 They are addictive
My description of Red velvet music is “weird” in a good way…though psycho is the more kpop sounds, if you dig in to their discography you will encounter LOTS of weird song …i love lots of them and I’m also confused by lots of them lol But they are definitely unique Irene is indeed the original visual of the 3rd generation kpop cause I believe they debut not long after the beginning of 3rd gen But if we want to talk about the ORIGINAL VISUAL of the kpop industry …we can’t left Yoona of girl’s generation ( SNSD ) out of the conversation. Snsd is also the sister group of redvelvet since they come from the same company. Yoona was/is the Korean beauty standard. She’s the one who created Center and Visual positions in kpop industry. And girl’s generation debut song “ Into the new world” is the anthem of kpop girl groups. And i dare say that you cannot be a kpop trainee or debut in a girlgroup without knowing this song.
It is true, Red Velvet is known as one of the top vocal groups in Kpop. Wendy and Seulgi are top tier vocalists. Irene, Joy and Yeri round out the group with their incredible vocals as well. They are a very different group when it comes to concepts. They will look and sound one way and the next song will be completely different, but their songs are hits.
If you want to see the song Psycho live (Red Velvet 레드벨벳 - Psycho @ReVe Festival FINALE), you can judge that Red Velvet is not a recording artist, they are really good live
I think you'll like their song Bad Boy. It's a song with a very catchy beat and chorus like this too. Very rnb type and a bit different from usual kpop sound. Nice reaction!
You've probably already noticed this, but one characteristic of K-pop fans that distinguishes them from those of music artists in the west is their knowledge of the companies their signed with (better known in S. Korea as "agencies"). And every agency tends to have a unique approach to developing their artists. In the example of RV's agency SM Entertainment, their artists are known to have the strongest vocals overall. Just wait until you hear their 4th gen girl group aespa. They're easily in my top 5.
Red Velvet Killing voice is a long video but really worth it to watch with their vocal ability and they're have many hit song with different concept. But if you're don't have many time maybe you guys can react "FEEL MY RHYTHM" by Red Velvet, they're use a classical instrument as a sample, it show not just a good vocals but their MV is good too.
Aloha Coach & Mama Coach,YESSAH Red Velvet is another group with amazing vocals.. There is a lot of girl groups with amazing vocals Coach and your closing on some of the great ones..😉🤙🏽🏈
(hold onto your hat, it's another LONG one...sorry...still just the tip of the iceburg) According to SM Entertainment, the four older of the five members of Red Velvet officially debuted as a group August 1st, 2014 (Irene, Seulgi, Wendy and Joy had the debut song 'Happiness!', which is a REALLY BRIGHT and colorful song with a matching MV). The fifth member is Yeri (also known as Katy). She finally debuted with the group in March of 2015, a few days after she turned sixteen years old (with the song 'Ice Cream Cake'). Yes, she was still going to school (and I think maybe she was still growing? Anyway, she ended up taller than Irene). Irene (the Original Visual with the Blue contact lenses; also the Leader, oldest member, Vocalist, Center and Main Rapper of the group) basically helped raise Yeri at the dorms for a few years even before any of them debuted. Irene used to get Yeri out of bed and help her get ready for school, including feeding her breakfast and ironing her school uniform. Irene is seemingly born to be in charge. Yeri IMMEDIATELY caught all kinds of crap from haters as soon as it was announced that she was debuting and being added to an already (barely) established group. Full-grown 'adults' called the sixteen year old girl a Gold Digger, a Clout Chaser and all manner of other unpleasantries. To stop all of that stupid business and to keep Yeri's Mental Health in the green, Irene put her foot down HARD. She shut the haters up really quickly. According to Irene, Red Velvet had ALWAYS been meant as a Five-member group. Therefore, all of their stuff from before Yeri's debut was to be classified as the group's 'Pre-Debut' material. Now, with Yeri, they were finally debuting as the group they were always meant to be. That's not 'official' by SM, but Irene refused to budge and she CERTAINLY will never allow her members to get picked on or bullied like that. Irene is the tiniest member of the group but she is THE FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH. Irene also has acting credits to her name and I think maybe some Writing credits...? Irene's designated color is Pink or Rose Red and her Animal icon is the Rabbit. In the 'Psycho' MV, the Blonde is their Main Vocalist, Wendy (my Ult Bias in all of K-Pop and maybe in Music in general). Wendy has done a duet with John Legend himself, a song called 'Written In The Stars' which does have a Music Video (the YT channel is SMTOWN). But that was simply a side project for Wendy, she never left the group. Wendy's designated color is Blue and her animal icon is the Squirrel. You will likely notice that another lady had the lion's share of the vocals in 'Psycho', rather than Wendy. Well, groups go through phases and eras. Lots of fans had been raving about how Seulgi was getting shorted in the songs, having few lines. In response to the public outrage, SM basically gave Seulgi the bigger role in 'Psycho' so it is said to be her first 'era'. Seulgi and Wendy are Best Friends both inside and outside of the group. They have helped each other with their particular gifts and positions in the group. (Seulgi's name is pronounced '/sool-gi/', with the 'oo' sounding as it does in the word 'book'. The 'g' sound is a 'hard g', as in 'game'). Seulgi is the one who started 'Psycho' with the very first vocal thing going on, even if it was not a full word (that high note 'oooh'). She's the one with the weird mirror scenes when one of the reflections does something different than the rest of the reflections, such as turning to look at the camera. She has the Wolf's Cut hair that has Green tips. She can seem very intimidating because of her unique facial structure. For me, she has the easiest face to pick out between the other members, no matter where they are or how much makeup any of them are wearing. Even if no other member of Red Velvet was around and Seulgi was in a sea of people, I could pick her out of the crowd. Seulgi is the Main Dancer of the group (they can all dance but there are 'levels' and certain positions) and BOY HAS SHE EARNED that title! She was obviously naturally gifted from birth but she also put in YEARS of HARD work in order to get where she is. Lots of people in K-Pop would LOVE to collab with her because she is THAT AWESOME. She has done some collabs including one with Mamamoo's Rapper MoonByul. Seulgi's voice is also AMAZING, unique and easily recognizable in the mix. She is basically Red Velvet's All-Rounder, the Hidden Ace. She can Rap (all the members can rap but only three of them are officially rappers; NOT Seulgi and NOT Wendy), she can Sing (Lead Vocal, just one step down from Wendy's Main Vocalist position), she can obviously Dance AND she now has Writing credits to her name. Seulgi's designated color is Yellow and her animal icon is the (Teddy)Bear, which fits this soft-hearted lady really well. She's an emotional marshmallow; if she laughs hard enough, she will cry while she laughs. It actually happens often. But besides that, she really is the most 'pure' soul of the group. She's really down-to-Earth, a very shy introvert (now not as painfully shy as she used to be) and just the sweetest thing in the world. It's really weird but despite being the Main Dancer, Seulgi is also the Klutz of the group...it is actually relatable and endearing. Joy is the tallest member of Red Velvet (Seulgi is second-tallest) and I swear Joy could go into modeling if she wanted! She's gorgeous, every bit as much as Irene is, but Joy's beauty is more of a 'cute' type than the more adult 'cold' beauty that Irene possesses. Joy's voice is very high and has a noticeable tinge to it, very unique. She normally does softer vocals than everybody else (unless she is rapping) but she can still hold her own. Joy is one of the two Lead Rappers. She has acting credits to her name (making her an actual Supermodel). Joy's designated color is Green and her animal icon is the Chick (I don't know how else to interpret what I am seeing, it looks like a baby bird, maybe even a Duck because the icon is Yellow even though Joy's Color is Green...). The other Lead Rapper is Yeri, who is also a Vocalist (of course). Yeri also has acting credits and Writing credits to her name. She was the one jumping on the bed under the skylight. It might be a dangerous thing to put Joy and Yeri in the same room together; they make a great tag-team at trolling, practical jokes and puns directed at each other and at the other members. Yeri's designated color is a shade of Purple that is actually called 'Eminence', as if she is the Princess. Her animal icon is either a turtle or tortoise; basically making fun of her for being late to the party but she is also a very hard worker. She is really smart and funny and savage (especially paired with Joy). Honestly she promotes Red Velvet better than SM Entertainment promotes the group.
Gracious! That is a lot of info, but it's all very good and helpful info to learn more about them. The way they added a member is interesting. Thanks for taking time to provide this great comment!
@@CoachCastTV Not a problem at all for me. Wendy is my Ultimate bias, single favorite person in K-Pop so I can't help but to be as helpful as possible for new fans of this group. Almost the same way I can't help it with Dreamcatcher, my FAVORITE group in music in general. It's really weird but that's me. lol :)
@@jamescurfman3284 Feel free to suggest something. We have been going through the comments to see what has been recommended but not sure what to do yet.
Another thing about RV I love is, their use of Synthesizers and Bass Guitars underneath everything else. They shocked me at how great it is. I go all the way back to Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream (Not K-Pop, btw) to make that statement.
Great Reaction CoachCastTV! Red Velvet is one of few groups I really enjoy! BlackPink and Red Velvet have a great friendship! Red Velvet has a song called Red Flavor that kinda shows you their names with each member! It’s also one of my favorites along with Psyco!🙏🏻
Welcome to Red Velvet..and yes Killing Voice is a must and will give you a little insight to their personality & Discography...Trouble (aka Irene) is the Leader/main visual of the group
They've got a lot of great songs out there and I know people will have already suggested the biggest hits, but if you want a super fun song of theirs that might not get enough play consider "Really Bad Boy". Not to be confused with "Bad Boy" which is a great song as well. Thanks for the reaction!
Red Velvet is absolutely goated 🩷💛💙💚💜 They never fail me to reel ppl around me into K-pop, lmao. I suggest trying a Killing Voice Reaction after listening to some of their songs first. I recommend Feel My Rhythm, Peekaboo, Dumb Dumb, Bad Boy, and their most recent track: Chill Kill. Can't wait to see your Killing Voice Reaction too though! Also, pssttt... watch Wendy in Lee Mujin Service to see the nuke of Red Velvet
BP, twice and rev velvet r the 3 big GGs in kpop. There r a lot interactions in award shows between them, this awards are weird and awkward (and funny) cause idols are not allowed to talk or stare to the oposite sex, some groups have like 12 idols, but the underage ones have to leave by ten o'clock, so the tables are half empty...
@@CoachCastTVbig three girl group of their generation also from three top biggest agency : sm entertainment: red velvet. Jyp entertainment: twice. Yg : blackpink
So far now you have covered three of my four favourite girl groups (Blackpink, Red Velvet and Mamamoo). Red Velvet are fascinating as they have a dual concept of “Red” songs that are upbeat, poppy and cute but also weird (see Red Flavour, Dumb Dumb and Zimzalabim) and “Velvet” songs that are more mature and R&B influenced such as Psycho, Automatic and their brand new single (released 5 days ago) Chill Kill. They also mix the two concepts together in songs like Peek a Boo and Feel My Rhythm. They are known for having one of the highest quality discographies in K-Pop as their B sides are some of the best around. Red Velvet is the 3rd Generation girl group from SM Entertainment (the OG K-Pop company) and one of the “Big 3” Korean entertainment companies alongside YG Entertainment (home of Blackpink, 2NE1, Babymonster) and JYP Entertainment (Wonder Girls, Twice) and now HYBE (BTS, New Jeans) are making it a “Big 4”. SME are known for their vocal excellence and focus heavily on vocal talent in their selection of trainees. Every SM idol can sing. Red Velvet are known for their vocal harmonies and arrangements with Wendy (blonde hair in the video) being the main vocalist and arguably the best female vocalist in the 3rd generation of groups (3rd Generation includes Blackpink, Twice and Mamamoo as the main groups still active). Suelgi is the lead vocalist (2nd position- the one with the dark wavy hair making the vocal trills in the chorus) and Joy (the tall one) holding the third vocal position. Irene (main rapper, lead (2nd dancer & original visual) is the oldest member and the Leader of the group and the centre - she is known for having a face that is considered perfect under Korean beauty standards, which often means that her talent is overlooked (especially her vocal). Yeri is the maknae (youngest) and is a rapper and vocalist who joined the group after they debuted during the Ice Cream Cake comeback as she had only just turned 15 (now 24). Wendy, Joy and Suelgi have solo EP’s and Irene and Suelgi have a subunit EP “Monster”. Yeri is still waiting for a solo project and Irene is yet to have a solo as well although both have tracks that haven’t had full release. Red Velvet are one of the most interesting and sophisticated groups in K-Pop and are well worth the effort.
This is fantastic info. We can always count on our viewers in the comments to provide great info and this is a perfect example. Thanks for all that great info about them!
Coach out there repping the Mountaineers! About to watch some Gameday with McAfee myself, but it was nice to wake up with another great reaction from you two! Much love and respect and keep crushing it!
They’re all fantastic vocalists but Wendy is just another level. Imo, she is one of the top 3 female vocalists in the industry along with IU and Taeyeon (who I’m still not convinced isn’t actually a legitimate angel) and their killing voice showcases just what they can really do. Irene is the one who caught your attention, you might like her duos with Seulgi, Monster and Naughty
Thanks for reacting for it!!!! Love your reaction Mr & Ms Coach!!!! They have a different concept from other 3rd Generation that makes them Unique. For example Lot of Groups are Barbie Concept but Red Velvet are Witch Doll Concepts another one lot of Groups are using Fairy Concept but Red Velvet doing Fallen Angel Concept.. listen more to their song!!! And if you know John Legend the one who sings All Of Me he Collaborated with Wendy...
red velvet is my 2nd favorite group after blackpink so i'm definitely excited for you guys to dive into their music 💓 their discography is absolutely insane and their catalog is pretty huge! i definitely love their velvet sound more but the red sound while it's not as angelic it's just as good and definitely super fun!! i know you guys don't usually make full album reactions but i think reacting to at least one of their mini albums in full would be an outer body experience for yall
I’m glad you guys came upon red velvet! You won’t regret it they are very talented in terms of vocals, concepts and harmonies! They are the queens of b-sides and are always changing concepts nailing them every time. I hope you watch more of their music videos and live performances. It would be amazing if you could react to their appearance on killing voice and their latest comeback ‘chill kill’ Anyways thank you for reacting to red velvet 😊
You should check out "Russian Roulette" is part of their Red side (bubbly and poppy). It should just act as an intro to the typical happening in their MVs. After that, I love " Peekaboo", especially for halloween. for more of their insane vocals "automatic" or "one of these nights" is great.
You started in a good place. Psycho is still my favourite song from RV. As good as the Killing Voice is, there is just something about Red Velvet music videos that justifies a first listen. There's often something a little bit dark and weird and I highly recommend watching their Peek-A-Boo music video next. "Trouble" is Irene and the other girl whose high note caught Coaches attention is Seulgi - these two are a sub-unit with a song "Monster" which is also dark and weird and so visually striking it has provided my computers wallpaper for the last three years. Also highly recommend their videos for Bad Boy and Really Bad Boy ...and eventually reacting to Seulgi's solo "28 Reasons".
I found Red Velvet through Seulgi's 28 Reasons M/V. You should check that one out sometime. Also her and Irene do a couple of songs together which are really good as well.
Yes, the beautiful Irene, it's great, but as you saw, her clip was very short ،She and yeri who sang afterwards, always don't have the least lines, so if you want to know them and listen to them more, you have to look for their singles They're few, but they're great
Sorry me again. Trouble is Irene. In a rare and most likely one time happening, Red Velvet was asked to go to North Korea to perform. Irene (being the Leader) was asked to make a few comments after their performance. She began to apologize that she was out of breath after all the dancing. The audience who were in attendance (NK's elite citizens) applauded. It was a moment that may never be repeated.
You should listen to their latest album coach, it’s Chill Kill & then check out their performance on Killing Voice too. Because here The Original Visual’s voice get more improve and i think you’ll love it😆🤩
same giant agency with Aespa. Red velvet are their senior sister girl group. The other giant entertainment agency is SM entertainment which they both comes from.
I recommend new jeans!!!! they r new and quite young, youngest is 15 and oldest is 19, they are talented young girls!! I recommend OMG or ditto for your first reaction!!!
I would also like to recommend bad boy by red velvet and drama, savage or girls by Aespa which is another group by SM entertainment. Their music is more experimental but they have insane bridges. Tempo by exo is another very good song with good vocals
Coach and Mrs. Coach are becoming aware - like I did - of the fact that Kpop has a huge mass of talented, attractive groups out there. Red Velvet is one of the best at vocals, but no one beats Big Mama. I like them because they have a unique blend that makes them stand out, and, as you noticed, they have the group chemistry to really sell it. It is all really subjective though. I actually don't follow any of the guy groups, not because they're not really talented or good, but because I, like Coach, just got kind of burnt out on the testosterone fueled guy energy and the fact that there are just so many of them. Red Velvet, by the way, has that duality like BP does - they have their "Red" side and their "Velvet" side. Kpop seems to be much better at branding. Kpop is a very deep rabbit hole.
This entire industry is fascinating, which is why we've done so much of it lately. We are having a blast with learning new groups but wish we had time to really deep dive into them all. We'll eventually get to more of all of them.
How did I find out about Red Velvet? Because of Jisoo. During my BP deep dive in 2019, I saw a video of Jisoo and BP at an awards show (SK version of the Grammys). Jisoo likes to goof around a lot (which is why we love her) TV networks always give out bottled water for the guests on TV shows and events. Jisoo being mischievous, would try to balance the bottle on her shoulder, just for a giggle . It was during that moment, she was caught on camera doing so. The host on stage made a joke about it on air. It was a classic BP moment. To her right, a Woman howled with laughter, and I had to find out who that was. It was Seulgi, from Red Velvet. RV and BP are all good friends. Wendy also lived here in Toronto for a time while attending school. Trust me, you will love this Group.
Jisoo and Seulgi are also close friends, as are Irene and Jennie. Whenever Irene and Jennie are on the same stage they immediately make a beeline to the other.
I commented a recommendation of a song to react to and it seem like youtube deleted it which is really annoying. It was a recommendation for Feel My Rhythm and I also talked about how the music video reference famous paintings and the song samples Air On A G String by Bach
Got it. Yeah, don't know what is going on with TH-cam sometimes. There are times when videos show a certain number of comments (like soon after a video posts and we can count them) and there are several missing. We don't delete comments unless they are personal attacks, and we always check the filter to release any comments that get caught up in it. We appreciate you commenting again!
I just saw your video of mamamo killing voice I really liked it if you liked mamamo you should check big mama they are the greatest vocal group in korea
Now coach.... u don't want to get into trouble with Mrs. Couch because of.... trouble. Troubles name is Irene.... and I have a problem with her as well. She is Trouble. I was going to suggest the killing voices but somebody else beat me to it. Its amazing.... Yes RV is one of the best vocal groups in Kpop. and they are known for their crazy. out there creepy wacky concepts... This group never disappoints... very R&B based... but then they have arrangements that take different turns musically that make u go 🤨🤔🥰. So Peek a boo, Dumb Dumb, Rookie, Bad boy and the list goes on. enjoy!
I don't really follow Red Velvet, though I agree that Psycho is an interesting song. I'm also familiar with comments that Wendy, especially, is an outstanding vocalist. That said, I was struck by your comment about how these groups bond amongst themselves (sometimes, though, they don't!). That's interesting stuff, and you are in a position to look at 2 contrasting groups. Blackpink came through the YG system, spending 4+ (Rose') to almost 6 years (Jennie), while very young, as intense trainees at a big company before they debuted. Mamamoo spent less than 3 years, beginning while significantly older, at a tiny startup. Back stories about how Mamamoo struggled early on following their debut, learning about themselves while sometimes fighting but ultimately coming to understand, appreciate and support each other, are a big part of why moomoos are so loyal. There are many good behind the scenes videos about that. With BP, it seems that its been more a process of the members--who started so young--progressively discovering their own individual voices. On that point you may be interested in an article by Rolling Stone magazine, available online, titled "How Blackpink Went From Strangers To Sisters To Pop Supernovas' (May 23. 2022). Fascinating stories.
Thank you for that info. While it would be assumed many successful groups do bond well, as you mention, it is inevitable that in some cases groups (or teams in sports) do not bond well at all and have internal conflict. Appreciate the mention of the article on BP.
Red Velvet also had a long training period with Suelgi having been a trainee for 7 years which is why she is such an accomplished singer and dancer. There is some speculation that she was originally intended to debut in F(X), SM’s previous girl group who were the first to do the weird concepts, but was deemed too young/not ready so she had to wait for the next project. Irene trained for five years and started later, at 18 after finishing high school and was cast on her looks after accompanying a friend who wanted to audition. So she debuted at the relatively late age of 23. SM has a pre debut project called SM rookies where they showcase their emerging talents and Irene and Suelgi had a dance team in that prior to Red Velvet. Irene is seen as the mother of the group who takes her role as leader very seriously, even showing these qualities prior to debut in terms of organisation of the team and standards. Yeri had the next longest training at 4 years, from the ages of 11-15 and Irene used to look after her during this period. Yeri joined later as she was too young to participate in the first two releases and she has a close bond with her older members. Wendy was born less than two weeks after Suelgi and they are besties (similar to Rosé and Lisa in Blackpink). Wendy spent much of her school years in Canada and later Minnesota and underwent vocal training in the USA at Berkelee College so she had the shortest training period less than two years as she was already a trained singer. Joy joined slightly before Wendy and was the original maknae of the group and the two of them are quite close and she and Yeri make up one of the more mischievous maknae lines in K-Pop. They have a lot of banter with the older members. Red Velvet had a difficult start to their career even though they were with one of the biggest companies, there were allegations that they were rushed into debut to make a diversion from problems in other SM groups and it took time for their concepts to develop. I think this early adversity brought them together as a team and they have close bonds and a family atmosphere around them. They have all been together for 11 years now and Irene and Suelgi for 14 years, mostly living under the same roof. They seem to have avoided the problems that their older sister groups had with members falling out with each other and still seem very close knit.
Next to Mamamoo Redvelvet are considerably one of the best vocalists in 3rd generation with Wendy being the best vocalist in the generation
Red Velvet has just released their newest song "Chill Kill" and this group has just appeared on Killing Voice. I hope you watch Killing Voice because he has extraordinary talent in terms of singing.

Red Velvet has some of the funniest videos to me because the songs are so fun to listen to, but then the video always has some craziness happening😆
Very sorry to hear you never heard about them. I hope to see you enjoying their Killing Voice performance one day. Cheers.
We will definitely do that at some point. Thanks!
You might also like the Red Velvet 'feel my rhythm' performance video.
feel my rhythm by red velvet next 🙏🏻 It has many layers of harmonies and is very beautiful
Super. Another favorite by them is Bad Boy.
This is one of kpops iconic songs just love it
I think Red Velvets 2nd full album is one of the best kpop albums I’ve ever heard!
this was my first "modern" kpop song late 2019 and i effin loved it so much , been a massive fan since :)
killing voice red velvet was so good!!!
'Original visual ' is a kind of humor. Irene, Bae Juhyun, is being called Original visual by k fans and by other K-pop celebrities.
irene is the leader, main rapper and yes she THE ORIGINAL VISUAL also she bestie with jenny blackpink ❤
That group (Aespa) has been mentioned a few times. We need to get to them sometime.
Thanks. We plan on doing Killing Voice eventually, but appreciate the other options.
Aloha Coach & Mama Coach,YESSAH Red Velvet is another group with amazing vocals..
There is a lot of girl groups with amazing vocals Coach and your closing on some of the great ones..😉🤙🏽🏈
We're mostly following the viewer suggestions and they are giving us some great stuff! Hope you are well.
Rosè Hard to Love
Please You definitely Gonna love it
(hold onto your hat, it's another LONG one...sorry...still just the tip of the iceburg) According to SM Entertainment, the four older of the five members of Red Velvet officially debuted as a group August 1st, 2014 (Irene, Seulgi, Wendy and Joy had the debut song 'Happiness!', which is a REALLY BRIGHT and colorful song with a matching MV).
It's really weird but that's me. lol :)
@@jamescurfman3284 We're planning on trying to film a Dreamcatcher reaction this weekend.
@@CoachCastTV COOL! Do you have a specific song in mind already or can I make a suggestion?
@@jamescurfman3284 Feel free to suggest something. We have been going through the comments to see what has been recommended but not sure what to do yet.
Another thing about RV I love is, their use of Synthesizers and Bass Guitars underneath everything else. They shocked me at how great it is. I go all the way back to Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream (Not K-Pop, btw) to make that statement.
One of my favorite kpop songs
Great Reaction CoachCastTV! Red Velvet is one of few groups I really enjoy! BlackPink and Red Velvet have a great friendship! Red Velvet has a song called Red Flavor that kinda shows you their names with each member!
It’s also one of my favorites along with Psyco!🙏🏻
Thanks!
Hmm, sounds like they have a thing for bad boys. LOL
Red Velvet is absolutely goated 🩷💛💙💚💜
They never fail me to reel ppl around me into K-pop, lmao.
We'll definitely do more of this group, as they have our attention now.
Thanks for reacting to Red Velvet
BP, twice and rev velvet r the 3 big GGs in kpop. There r a lot interactions in award shows between them, this awards are weird and awkward (and funny) cause idols are not allowed to talk or stare to the oposite sex, some groups have like 12 idols, but the underage ones have to leave by ten o'clock, so the tables are half empty...
Interesting.
@@CoachCastTVbig three girl group of their generation also from three top biggest agency : sm entertainment: red velvet. Jyp entertainment: twice. Yg : blackpink
Yesss Red Velvet are soooo good. Their new album is great🔥
So far now you have covered three of my four favourite girl groups (Blackpink, Red Velvet and Mamamoo).
Irene (main rapper, lead (2nd dancer & original visual) is the oldest member and the
Leader of the group and the centre - she is known for having a face that is considered perfect under Korean beauty standards, which often means that her talent is overlooked (especially her vocal).
MAMAMOO, REDVELVET 제가 모두 좋아하는 걸 그룹이에요..
FEEL MY RHYTME 도 킬링보이스를 보기 전에 꼭 먼저 보세요..^^
Coach out there repping the Mountaineers! About to watch some Gameday with McAfee myself, but it was nice to wake up with another great reaction from you two! Much love and respect and keep crushing it!
That's right! Thanks so much, we appreciate you!
For example
Lot of Groups are Barbie Concept but Red Velvet are Witch Doll Concepts another one lot of Groups are using Fairy Concept but Red Velvet doing Fallen Angel Concept.. listen more to their song!!! And if you know John Legend the one who sings All Of Me he Collaborated with Wendy...
We love them. Will definitely do more.
red velvet is my 2nd favorite group after blackpink so i'm definitely excited for you guys to dive into their music 💓 their discography is absolutely insane and their catalog is pretty huge! i definitely love their velvet sound more but the red sound while it's not as angelic it's just as good and definitely super fun!! i know you guys don't usually make full album reactions but i think reacting to at least one of their mini albums in full would be an outer body experience for yall
Thanks for the comment. We are also excited to hear more from them.
Nice reaction Mrs. & Mr. Coach! Red Velvet is one of my fav groups. I'm glad you guys finally reacted to them! I look foward to seeing more!
We can see why they are one of your favorites. Thanks for watching. We'll have more soon.
I’m glad you guys came upon red velvet! You won’t regret it they are very talented in terms of vocals, concepts and harmonies! They are the queens of b-sides and are always changing concepts nailing them every time. I hope you watch more of their music videos and live performances. It would be amazing if you could react to their appearance on killing voice and their latest comeback ‘chill kill’
Anyways thank you for reacting to red velvet 😊
Thanks for watching!
yes irene is very underrated rapper red velvet is my favorite group
You should check out "Russian Roulette" is part of their Red side (bubbly and poppy). It should just act as an intro to the typical happening in their MVs. After that, I love " Peekaboo", especially for halloween. for more of their insane vocals "automatic" or "one of these nights" is great.
Red velvet are great. My favorite is wildside. It is one of their Japanese releases. You would love it. I promise.
You are getting great suggestions. The groups you are checking out are fantastic.
Yes, we could not be happier with the suggestions!
Red Velvet is amazing ❤
Irene is the one with the line Original visual and i believe she's the trouble girl you're talking about 😅
Good to know. She's on Coach's radar! LOL
We keep hearing about the "Bad Boy" and "Really Bad Boy" videos. We're looking forward to seeing more from them.
I thought blackpink would be my beginning and end of the kpop scene until I heard this song. Masterpiece!
Agreed!
I found Red Velvet through Seulgi's 28 Reasons M/V. You should check that one out sometime. Also her and Irene do a couple of songs together which are really good as well.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Waiting with respect for that killing voice reaction
My favorite Red Velvet song! cheers..
It was seriously good!
Interesting. She has an amazing look.
You should listen to their latest album coach, it’s Chill Kill & then check out their performance on Killing Voice too. Because here The Original Visual’s voice get more improve and i think you’ll love it😆🤩
I forgot which year. The fans of Blackpink and Red Velvet are hoping them combined to one big group, and called them Black Velvet
More reacts of red velvet!!!
This group has a couple of styles. They have red songs which are more poppy, and velvet songs like this one which are more smooth.
Well, that's very interesting. Sort of like another group we know.
@@CoachCastTV A good red one is Dum Dum. It’s quirky but still has great belting vocals.
@@bollyjeff Noted. Thank you!
I’m so excited to see you react to Wendy Lee mujin you will be shocke guys
same giant agency with Aespa.
If you want to see more Red Velvet songs.I suggest you to react to Feel My Rhthym - Red Velvet MV.
I like your reaction
I would also like to recommend bad boy by red velvet and drama, savage or girls by Aespa which is another group by SM entertainment. Their music is more experimental but they have insane bridges. Tempo by exo is another very good song with good vocals
So you should check their killing voice :D hehe Feel my Rhythm is considered one of the best comeback ever :)
Psycho is one of the best kpop tracks. Can you guys please react to IVE "Either Way" next. Superb.
Next "feel my rhythm- red velvet"
We definitely enjoyed this and will be doing more for sure. That's a great story!
Jisoo and Seulgi are also close friends, as are Irene and Jennie. Whenever Irene and Jennie are on the same stage they immediately make a beeline to the other.
More mamamoo live performance reactions pls
After gidle i respect red velvet the most and after mamamoo, 2ne1 and snsd
Red velvet killing voice please 🙏
RV, top 3 ggs in K-pop
Finally..❤❤
I commented a recommendation of a song to react to and it seem like youtube deleted it which is really annoying. It was a recommendation for Feel My Rhythm and I also talked about how the music video reference famous paintings and the song samples Air On A G String by Bach
Got it. Yeah, don't know what is going on with TH-cam sometimes. There are times when videos show a certain number of comments (like soon after a video posts and we can count them) and there are several missing.
We don't delete comments unless they are personal attacks, and we always check the filter to release any comments that get caught up in it. We appreciate you commenting again!
Just to see Coach's face please check their subunit Irene & Seulgi "Monster"😅
Someone else mentioned that one also. We'll keep that in mind. LOL
Pls don’t forget reaction to RedVelvet on Killing Voice ❤
We both like "trouble" coach...
LOL! "Good Trouble" was a song by REO Speedwagon back in the day and it applies here.
@@CoachCastTV Irene is a "Good-looking Trouble" LOL
So Peek a boo, Dumb Dumb, Rookie, Bad boy and the list goes on. enjoy!
This song definitely made us want to hear more of their songs! And Irene made Coach want to see more videos as well. LOL
❤️🔥 ❤️🔥 ❤️🔥
react to their killing voice please!!
omggg can you react to their killing voice?
I like Feel My Rhythm way more than Psycho
