- How beautiful is this MV?! Today's video is my Red Velvet 'Feel My Rhythm' MV REACTION. The song itself is really interesting and the fashion and visuals match perfectly. Every set of looks is so unique and serves us up a totally different vibe. The Feel My Rhythm MV is totally eclectic, totally Red Velvet and is full of their classic juxtaposition.

This Feel My Rhythm got a lot of hint：
1. Joy lying on water (Ophelia - John Everett Milley)
2. Irene swing ("The Swing" - Fragonard)
3. Irene with umbrella with Seulgi ("The Woman Holding the Umbrella" - Monet)
4. Yeri Hair Style with strawberry ("Four Seasons" - Mucha)
5. At the End of the MV is the fountain frome from the painting of Hieronymus Bosch , it can be found in The Garden of Earthly Delights
6. Seulgi standing on the ladder (paul dominique - lady looking behind the wall)
7. Wendy & Yeri looking at Joy in the water (paul dominique - Nymphs Finding the Head of Orpheus)
Hieronymus Bosch painting is all related to this Feel My Rhythm MV including the RedVelvet all sitting inside of room with a table (actually is a monster)(Climbing the Ladder: On Hieronymus Bosch's Vision of Hell)
This is a Triptych - a single narrative artwork split into 3 panels. the castle at the end of the MV is in the first panel.

The whole MV is a mix of classic paitings from different arts and classic ballet, on the beginning you can see ophelia and the whole background on the dance parts and some solo stuff is Bosh!

If you look at the teaser pictures, irene actually had a peach gown which is also gorgeous and i wonder why they changed it for the mv. The rest of them wore the exact same gowns from the teaser. And yes, i also wish we could've got more joy and yeri black outfit look. Let's hope we're gonna get it on the behind the scenes video.

You'll notice the contrasting scenes of cool blue and coral pink and also the gowns of different era. That's because the mv is about the journey of travelling through time and space! While travelling, there're members (Irene,Seulgi,Wendy) who want to stay in the winter season and those who want to go to spring season. You can see Joy and Yeri are reborn as spring goddesses through the flower and the egg.
One of the concepts might be pulled from The Garden of Earthly Delights.
I love all of the references it's so beaut!

I'm absolutely in love with the whole album, styling, music video, choreo of Feel the Rhythm. From Summer to Spring, RV can rock any concept & season indeed. Even after all these years they always surprise Luvies with their music.
A lot of the scenes and props are inspired by the Garden of Earth Delights by Bosch

I'm just so amazed with their concept I wanna cry 😭 Here's some knowledge everyone! The entire mv is based on "The Garden of Eartly delights" by Hieronymus Bosch. For those who didn't know, "The Garden of Earthly Delights," narrates a bewildering perspective of sinful humanity when free of moral restraint. Nude men and women parade upon animals' backsides throughout the illustration, symbolic of humanity's ravenous greed for carnal desires. Couples dance in the waters of the pond, expressing admiration for the marvelous intricacies of the human body. A few individuals do engage themselves within sexual orgies, perhaps rejoicing in the lawless atmosphere of the Garden. The voluptuous fruit (which is the strawberry as you can see in the mv) utilized by the naked men and women in the landscape, communicates the sensuality of the human body. It depicts the unending cycle of Adam and Eve's sin, whereby everyone serves as a prisoner to his or her appetite. Males and females innocently nurture the owl (which is Seulgi), a longtime symbol of witchcraft, unconsciously damning themselves to eternal punishment in hell... They also use other painting references just like the Ophelia (Joy on the river), the swing, lady looking behind the wall (seulgi climbing the ladder) and the woman with parasol (seulgi and Irene holding an umbrella)....

I wonder if anyone else noticed this. For the garden scenes where they're wearing the pink gowns it's only Irene wearing white (Joy is wearing a very light peach gown too). it's also a different gown from the one she wore on the teasers, that one was pretty pink ruffle gown with like petal details.

my theory is the members portrayed roles that can be found in the popular movie, "Alice in Wonderland." The classic book turned film depicts Alice and her exploration in a surreal dimension.
Based on the teaser, Seulgi is speculated to be Hatter. She is the only one who' is wearing a hat in the photos.
I also think that Seulgi who was seen painting the teaser relive the scene where Alice painted roses along with soldiers.
Moving on to Irene, she is speculated to be playing the role of Queen of Hearts. Her dress stands out the most among the members, not to mention she is wearing a crown.
As for Joy, I think that she could be Alice. In her individual teasers, she is seen with a red book, and is apparently reading the story of Red Velvet in their own Wonderland.
Yeri then played the role of Chesire Cat with her cat-like appearance in her individual teaser.
Lastly, Wendy represents the clock and white rabbit in "Alice in Wonderland." She connects the members from the real world to Wonderland.
Red Velvet's teaser clip also featured "flowers with eyes." This reminded me of a certain scene from "Alice in Wonderland" where the main character passed by a garden and encountered moving flowers with faces and eyes.
And I think it has probably connection in their past comebacks especially psycho and Queendom. But I might be wrong about my theory.
Because Looking back at "Psycho" MV dropped in 2020, Red Velvet was seen sewing pink dresses. In 2022, they finally finished their outfits and wore them on "Feel My Rhythm" teaser photos.
I also noticed that the members' poses from the former track were similar to the latter track's photos.
Lastly, in the jacket photo and teasers for "Pyscho" and "Queendom," Red Velvet appeared humongous just like when Alice was still in the real world.
However, after eating a piece of cake, Red Velvet shrinks to a smaller size. This explains their smaller appearance as ballerinas in their concept photos for feel the rhythm.
And also the The visual depicted Red Velvet as women in the springtime, taking viewers into an enchanting, picturesque world filled with adventure and wonder. As a few fans on Twitter noted, the video evokes several famous paintings like Jean-Honoré Fragonard’s “The Swing,” John Everett Millais’ “Ophelia,” and Claude Monet’s “Woman With a Parasol”
