Good deal. I'm trying to figure out how to best make use of the unused space of my 14 ft Lowe Jon boat myself. I'd like to add a bait keep and maybe a fish keep as well.
It's a simple solution for a lack of storage. Access to the insides of the benches will make it easier for additional mods that require wiring. I'm hoping it lasts longer than a year lol.
Haha! It’s not pretty, but it does the job. I drilled too close to the bottom to use the nut so I had to improvise at that point. The plug that was there to begin with was unusable so I have to disagree with it being worse than leaving it alone.
Where u gonna sit?
Of all the jon boats I ever have saw, you got the best jon bote of any of ems

th-cam.com/video/XuVqs-VqC54/w-d-xo.html I made a live well out of a Coleman cooler for this boat. Maybe this will be helpful as well!
Take me for a ride in the boat
Taking out the fosm changes the floating of your boat!
I have not noticed a difference.
Its there to keep your boat from sinking if you overturn it.
Get er done!
This is a straight up getting by style build. You should get a year of fishing out of it though!

@@kirkoutdoors8806 If you don't store it outside it might last but, I mean you did a straight up get er done build. Definitely not buy once cry once.
The foam is there for a reason my guy.
Maybe so, but it is unnecessary.
@@kirkoutdoors8806 you better get a sump pump!
How can you say it is unnecessary? It is meant to save your life and required by the USCG. You are breaking the law.
Where u get the hatches

Your drain plug work is terrible. Its worse than just leaving it alone.

Is that solid enough to sit/step on?
Yes, it has done well so far.
