I built this EXACT computer (no joke) with the exact same parts, except for the water cooling, the SSD, and the PC case but otherwise everything else is basically the same. I am happy with my build and you were the one that inspired me to build my own PC instead of buying a prebuilt, followed your guides to build my PC and I couldn't be happier. Love your channel bro and thanks for all that you do for us that are part of the PC community or new to it.
Same bro it was so worth it, I built mine a week ago and it was so much easier than I thought, with the help of scat and tech source. Plus the benchmarks I get on games for what I spent building vs spending the same on a pre built are night and day
@ScatterVolt I wanna ask you something since im new into pc building Which is better the 7900 gre or something from nvidia at that same price range and will the amd run rt?
@@RXIFPLTZ It’s really up to you and your play style. The 4070 super would be the nvidia choice the 7900 gre would have better raw performance and value since it’d be $50+ cheaper depending on model and what’s on sell and the 4070 super would probably perform better with some rt titles but the performance between to two is back to back and pretty even so its up to you and what you can find
1440p, if you can find them, you can use a 3 series cpu and a 5700xt gpu. Not too tear, but until the 6950xt did a flash sale, I’ve been using the 3800x (there’s better 3 series cpus for gaming) and the 5700xt red devil, and had no issues with 1440p. Some games are medium settings, which is basically console quality but at 2k. Not too tear but may be able to get 1440p gaming at half the cost.
In fairness for Starfield, even the developers state that the game was made with running dlss or FR3 in mind. Even they say you are supposed to run up scaling when playing, so for them it’s not cheating. Also Fortnite messed with things in the last chapter release so it runs better on DX11. With a 3800x, I have a similar build that was done 3-4 years ago, and I’m just now upgrade my cpu. 1440p, this is a solid build.
I appreciate you replying to my new prebuilt pc comment in another video, keeping it honest without being pretentious. im returning it and just building my own. moneys isnt a problem, but its scummy they went cheapest options for parts and charging me for higher versions (msi motherboard instead of a proper better brand while charging me premium, or proprietary aio cooler but charging me premium)
got a question, i’m about to build my first pc mainly using one of your $1000 build guides and the main part i’m worried or nervous about is the setup after the pc has been built. i have no access to ethernet cause my room is too far, do i have to buy a usb wifi card for that? i got the B-650s wifi so will the wifi antenna that comes with it work just fine?
You could but you'd be spending more money to get equivalent performance. Like an additional $125 to get a 13600k (which will be on a dead socket since lga 1851 releases this fall) and a 4070S.
This was an open box deal through Microcenter (so I assume there is some QA it has to go through before resale) and from what I could see, there were no bent pins. I see your point though.
The editing and the quality of every video is always consistent and top tier. Moreover, Scattervolt always includes those instructions like 'check out for 9 screws for the motherboard', 'put on the io shield', 'give the processor a little wiggle', 'open up the 2nd and 3rd bracket for gpu', installing windows step by step or the GPU and motherboard drivers which are of great help for first time builders! 1 question though, are those sensei mods custom sleeved cables towards the end? Anyways, Great content! ❤
I got myself a pretty similiar build, although I did use a 7800X3D, 7900GRE, Corsair 4000D airflow case, air cooler, Corsair 850 W PSU, 2TB wd black SN850X, 32GB Corsair RAM, Tuf Gaming B650 Plus Wifi and some white arctic fans. I spent quite a bit more than you did at around 1700€ tax included, but I think with the amount of performance for the price I did pretty well. I really didn't want to skimp out on the ssd, ram and psu so I went with the more reputable brands (Corsair and WD). And I have literally no RGB except for the GPU which has a glowing Gigabyte logo which made it possible to actually build it at a reasonable price. RGB is expensive man especially if you want fans that have decent CFM, so love you Arctic.

The thermalright peerless assassin (the cpu cooler I have linked in pcbuilds.gg), or any 240mm/360mm aio for that matter, will fit in this case. What specific issue are you running into?

Help me out, the build in the list has a basic $40 cooler but the actual build being filmed has a $100 radiator cooler thing. Is the basic cooler is good enough?
Of course, that's why I have it linked
Why did the 700$ pc do better on Fortnite the the 1200$ one ?
This is crazy. Im probably not building my own PC soon but If i will definetly watch your videos or website this is absolutly crazy never seen someone doing it so clear and userfriendly
You are my fav TH-camer I watch you videos and my dream is to build you white 4k $2000 gaming pc but I don’t know if I can achieve it but I’m trying you have the best vids
I’m selling it soon on ScatterVolt.com!
I think for future proofing ddr5 and am5 is cool but what about pcie 5 x16 support for future gpus . I think it is crucial.btw great tutorial.for wifi i use my phone connected with usb
There is barely any difference between pci gen 3 and 4 right now. Between 5 and 4 idk.
Hello we can't buy the listed PSU or RAM please suggest compatible alternative, thanks
Did you check the pcbuilds.gg link?
Hall Jeffrey Anderson Eric Perez Michelle
😂 it cost more then 2000$ without the screen i guss the better option is just buying a gaming laptop 1500$ with 4070
What prices are you using?
If you add up what I have in the pcbuilds.gg link, it’s ~$1200.
Not sure if you’d want to go with an expensive gaming laptop at this price when it’ll become obsolete in a year. With desktop PCs you can at least upgrade their components over time.
Rider Strong has a TH-cam channel!! Nuts!!
My cooler doesn’t fit😢 I have the exact same build as you but the cooler doesn’t fit my case with the mb installed
The thermalright peerless assassin (the cpu cooler I have linked in pcbuilds.gg), or any 240mm/360mm aio for that matter, will fit in this case.
What specific issue are you running into?
what if if do 7500f and rx 7900gre
Love these videos, currently saving to buy a pc

This PC Build Guide is up to date for 2024
Last week I bought similar parts just from different manufacturers with fractal torrent compact case. Its gonna be an absolute upgrade from my 7 year old GTX 980 to RX 7900 GRE. Just waiting to finish school this week to start building my first pc on my own. Great vid.
How'd it go?
@@NoSmoke1 My first PC build went well. I'm happy with the performance of all components.
I have the same card 7800 xt with 14600k and it's just a beast for 1440p gaming! Thanks for the video
Intel and amd underrated combo 😢
Thank you!
Can it run roblox
Impossible
Hi! Can you please help me to build my first gaming PC, thank you in advance
Just watch one of my pc build guides completely lol
What about thermal paste?
Build mine for 1300 got a rx 6800 with a ryzen 9 u can get a way better build
A Ryzen 9 paired with a RX 6800 would be a lot slower in gaming than a Ryzen 5 with a 7800 XT
Follow the guide for the water cooler
I love the rx 7800 xt with 1440p fps is the perfectly no bottlenecking
^^^
Is a ryzen 7 5700x and 4070 super ventus, MSI B550M Pro VDH Wi-Fi ATX motherboard, Corsair vengeance 32gb ddr4, 2x MSI Spatium 1TB NVME and 1440p 120HZ 27inch Monitor worth £1,400
No. Build a PC with a Ryzen 7000 CPU, not a 5000.
@@ScatterVolt thanks man after watching your videos I’ve realised what a stupid idea it was I’m gonna go for 7900GRE and ryzen 5 7600x or 7 7800x3D depends how deep my pockets will go ahah
I chose the RX 7700XT in my new pc and i am very happy with it. If you can spend 50$ more go for the 7800XT but if you cannot, 7700XT is amazing at 1440p as well!
