One thing I will say is: local prices will make this PC cost 2x. Here? This PC WILL cost $1400 - 5600 is $200, 6750 is $500, and everything else will be more in price as well. I’m currently putting together a shopping list with the Ryzen 5 5600 and an RX 6700 xt so this is the perfect vid to inspire my build even more….thanks for the great upload!
You can go further than this because of online sub. Thats an extra 135$ that consoles pay yearly, plus games are more expensive, so if you buy only 6 games per year, thats another $420. As someone who went from PS4 to PC, the initial cost is a bit steep but is cheaper over time.
the PS5 pro costs $750 and $80 for the disk drive. add extra $30 for the vertical stand. you can upgrade to am5 platform with ryzen 5 7500f or upgrade your gpu for the 7700 xt for that price lol. and i haven't even mention the cost to play online (PS plus). not to mention you can do so much more with your pc like editing, work, school, etc.
Lol cmon! Will you put a disc drive on your pc ? Do you have a controller or mouse & keyboard included in your pc build ? Games are optimized for console meaning same spec will run smoother on console.
@@francisblanchet4584 It won't run smoother than a PC with similar specs. For example, Black Myth Wukong, it looks dog poop on PS5 with locked 30 FPS. This is the same build i did for son and his mate, I did use the amd 5700x cpu as it was on sale, It’s a great system that does everything. The gpu I used 7700xt.
A note on the AliExpress cpu’s. Out of three I’ve purchased that came in just a clamshell the 5700x3d which I purchased last came with two bent pins. Was a simple enough fix but considering it took 3 weeks to get to me I wasn’t going to send it back. Just something to think about when trying to save a few bucks. The $150 paid for it was pretty sweet though.
I went for $800, since my initial plan included a disc drive and stand, and I think I just got myself a 1440p beast (7500F+7800XT). Since most of the PS5 titles I want have or soon will be released on PC, I think I'm settled.
I got everything you have in this build, however I went cheap on the graphic card and got a Soyo RX 580 (Huge Mistake!) it would not run any of my games, it basically just crashes or goes black screen, shutting down on me. That's what I get for buying a cheap a** graphic card! Learn my mistake so I ordered the RX 7800 Gigabyte version with 3 fans, sorta makes me sick to have to spend that much money for a graphic especially when it costs more than xbox s series, however I think it'll be worth it in the long run. The PC runs great, proud of myself except for the dumb mistake I made on buying a cheap graphic card. lol! Thanks for everything bro even though I've built a pc myself long ago before all this was on TH-cam but my memory was a little foggy so watching your video has help me a lot and reminded myself the skills that I still have. :)
If you don't care about wifi or aesthetics you could save a little more on the motherboard and case and be pretty much in line with a $700 ryzen 5600 - rx 7700xt build.
I am doing almost the exact same, though my budget only gets me rx 5700xt + ryzen 5 5700x combo. I don't have a mobo yet because I don't know which one is the best on my budget but, This vid helps me find one for reference, thank You! (Would probably watch this video again as I build later on lol)

Not a bad build for the budget - if you have another $100-150 you could go with an AM5 platform. This would give you more upgrade potential to extend the life of your build.

Good choices: I am still a big fan of Am4👍 my personal thought: The T500 is really good but maybe overkill from a budget perspective. Either a better cpu fan or 3600 Ram or a larger ssd might be worth a consideration instead. WD SN 580 is cheaper atm and got good reviews.
Great PC for the price. Great job. My pc is $1400, but this just shows how good a gaming experience you can get at a very resaonable price. Is this $700 pc worh it ? YES, Yes, and YES.
This is more or less my PC currently. I was tempted to upgrade from the 5600 to a 5700X3D or an RX 6750 XT from an RX 6600 XT but I'm wasn't sure. Just bought a 1440p monitor.
Great build. Hey how about uploading some shorts, react to what's happening in tech community cause there is a lot happening and the reason why I'm saying this is bro you are close to 500k. You'll get more reach.
I need advice on what parts should I consider buying in 2024. Budget ceiling at $2500. I want to play in 1080p, ultra, without Ray Tracing, without Path Tracing, without other useless features, in stable 3 digit fps (1% low at 100+) in 98% of games and without any part upgrades for at least 7 years. If I'm delusional about those requirements, feel free to say it. Have a nice day/night.
for $700 this is amazing! but i would rather get Ryzen 5 7500F and Rx 7800 Xt for the same price for a $1300 pc, best cpu and gpu combo for gaming imo.
A beginners guide, with questionable part selection. Only go 5600 if at the AliExpress price, better options at $100. Thermalright has better coolers for that price. The motherboard is budget, spend $25-30 more on a better model. Stick to RAM from reputable brands, no one needs to deal with binned Hynix dies. The case and PSU are just bad picks, do not use that god awful PSU tier list site, cybenetics exists for a reason. The brand of GPU matters, for AMD stick to Powercolor or Sapphire, also don't expect to find a 6750 XT now, stock is already low.
They keep going in and out of stock. I've been using them for most new mid-range customer builds. The PowerColor Fighter is pretty cheaply made, XFX is about it.
Yes you are right but with second hand and being last generation the options maybe limited. You can in such case go with premium variants of cards from other brands. Me and my friend got the Aorus Elite Gigabyte 6700 xt from ebay, our cards so far are really good. Super quiet and very cool temperatures (plus bonus rgb presets). Yet to see any kind of issue in them. XFX brand is another great option if that is available.
You can definitely build a SFF pc that is as good or better than the "pro" for roughly the same price plus you'll have an infinite amount of games to play.
What is the best mobo and best CPU for gaming without mentioning the budget? Not asking about GPU at all, i only want to know about CPU and motherboard first, for playing with any resolution from 1080p up to 4k with low to high or even to ultra settings.
People underestimated the 7600xt since its launch mostly because it had the exact same(or slightly better) GPU die as the 7600 8gb variant. 7600xt in theory is a much better gpu because since most games now use up a lot amount of VRAM when gaming, it actually makes more sense to have a 16gb vram for a GPU especially if you're doing it at 1440p resolution(that's assuming you have ZERO intention to upgrade to a 4k monitor because it's overrated and overpriced).
you can't build something for the same price, figure on over $1000. then remember if it has vanilla windows on it it's going to be bogged down by winbloat, you actually need extra compute and threads plus memory to realize all that over the top hardware and get the most out of it where consoles can squeeze more out of the less they have, even on xsx where they have realized that it runs better in some circumstances because of the highly tuned and gaming centric windows dx stack on there
This is really dope, think its time to make the switch to PC. Wanted to find out opinions on switching the amd cpu to an intel i5 12600kf for an extra $40-ish and a $99 b760m motherboard. Seems to be a special going on. Would the extra $40 give a great improvement to gaming or not really.
Ps5 pro price include a controller so your build should include a decent keyboard & mouse so you'll have to cheap on some parts. Games are optimized for console meaning that the console will run smoother vs equivalent spec.
@@itsatrap4986 a 20$ combo is real trash. PS5 pro got 2tb and this build only got 1tb. It's up to you to cheap on one of the most important part which allow you to interact properly with the game.
I will be following this build guide to the letter, I bought same motherboard, I'm just not sure if the bios has been updated for 5000 series and on the box it says 3000 series ready but no indication for the 5000 series. So I bought a ryzen 5 3600 for now to be sure it works and an rx 5700 xt the rest will be followed to the letter
why's the 4060 hated on? im planning on building a pc, never done it before and was wondering why people hate on it 😂, and if the one u used is better? and whats the price difference between the 2
So... I had a pc with R9 5900x and 3080 ti until recently, but I decided that it was overkill and went back to the laptop I've been using since 2017 (Lenovo thinkpad x1 tablet gen 2) which is sufficient for smaller 3d modeling projects in Creo Parametrics, while I use Xbox for gaming. Now I'm thinking about building a PC again and I'm torn between 3080 and 6800/6800xt. I was thinking about 4080 Super/4070 Super/7900 GRE, but it's still on par 3080 ti or more powerful, which is overkill as I sad... and I probably don't want to admit to myself that I might have made a mistake.😁I need raw processing power and just a solid gpu for the work I do, even the Pascal generation is enough, but since I use a 1440p monitor I would take something more powerful. I mostly play fps campaigns, actions, adventures... I'm one of the few who liked Starfield. So - 3080 or 6800/6800xt? I don't need cuda cores, I use Ansys for analysis.
One last question, what’s a good atx board for this build? I’m think ing the MSI B550 Gaming GEN3 Gaming Motherboard (AMD Ryzen 5000 Series, AM4, DDR4, PCIe 3.0, SATA 6Gb/s, M.2, USB 3.2 Gen 1, HDMI/DVI-Port, ATX). Good choice?
Great video as always! Pc part picker says that the motherboard might need to update bios to be able to support the cpu. Shouldn’t you update the motherboard with the flash button before starting it up with the cpu in? Just asking because I bought the same pc just with a few modifications. Funny i have gotten tips for discord etc and with all the help i came up with the buikd and then I saw your video and it was the same parts basically😂
Bro pls help me ,when i go to the pc part picker Website and chose the same parts you did i get this warning: ,, The MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard supports the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 3.5 GHz 6-Core Processor with BIOS version 7C95v2A. Snag that $75 Ryzen 5600 through my Aliexpress link!
Don't vertical mount your GPU trust me. Great build you wil enjoy it!
6750 xt.. gotta love it! ❤
Keep watching
it costs as much as a 4070 where I am
@@jordanmntungwa3311goes used for about 250-280
It is NOWHERE to find in my country. Plenty of rx 6600 and 7600 tho
Nice build, thanks for the video. Doing research for my first pc build, mostly will play rts games but trying to make the best pc with the cash i got.
Excellent!
One thing I will say is: local prices will make this PC cost 2x. Here? This PC WILL cost $1400 - 5600 is $200, 6750 is $500, and everything else will be more in price as well. This is because we have a stupid import tax and I know that many other countries will suffer the same fate. I am REALLY jealous of USA pricing, you guys get it best and amazon prime actually works for you.
building a budget both gaming and editing pc, I need processor recommendations, my picks are :-
r5 7600/7600x.
r7 5700x.
i5 12400/12400f/12600k.
i5 13500.
which one is better and will set me for atleast 4-5 years of no upgrading?
The one that uses AM5: www.pcgamer.com/hardware/processors/amd-promises-am5-socket-life-support-through-to-2027-and-beyond/
R5 7600 best am5 cpu for its price and you can easily prolong this cpu for 4 years
I wish it's the same in my country, because $700(35k) won't give you these parts unless you bought used parts😢
Finally you recommend the 7600xt - I know it's slow but I like it going to build this now for sure
Scatter volt is a legend in this pc community 🐐
Bro not gonna lie when I started the vid and seen the 4060 I backed out but then decided to watch it anyways and man I’m glad I did 😁…. I’m currently putting together a shopping list with the Ryzen 5 5600 and an RX 6700 xt so this is the perfect vid to inspire my build even more….thanks for the great upload!
The fact that ps5 pro is actually 780$ not 700$ because it’s diskless
810$ actually 30$ more for the stand which is not concluded in the box
This PC is diskless as well so what's your point lol
This PC is also diskless
This diskless is also pc
@AdamJapaly don't forget the additional 70 or 140 for a brand new game they will likely purchase alongside.
On PC, you can use Digital Foundry's optimized settings and it will look gorgeous and run a lot better with higher FPS. We're talking about a RX 6600 or 3060 which is slower than the PS5, RX 6700 10GB GPU.
@@francisblanchet4584 even with a keyboard and mouse (my keyboard is like $20 digital alliance mechanical and my mouse is $34 logitech g304) it’s still pretty cheap lol. at least with pc you can play online without paying $100 a year 😅.
if you’re wondering how my keyboard feels, it’s pretty solid for it’s price and i’ve been using it for the past 5 years with a bit of foam mod.
yeah the disk drives isn’t necessary for both pc and console, but someone else who might want it have to pay more.
@@francisblanchet4584Only some games are optimized for console. Not all, not even the majority. Also a decent mouse and keyboard combo is incredibly cheap, less than 1 year of PS plus, lol. Btw, I own a PS5 and a PC
This is the same build i did for son and his mate, I did use the amd 5700x cpu as it was on sale, It’s a great system that does everything. The gpu I used 7700xt.
Sir, your method of building PC is the best 🙌
Really good breakdown of everything ,much love ❤
A note on the AliExpress cpu’s. Out of three I’ve purchased that came in just a clamshell the 5700x3d which I purchased last came with two bent pins. Was a simple enough fix but considering it took 3 weeks to get to me I wasn’t going to send it back. Just something to think about when trying to save a few bucks. The $150 paid for it was pretty sweet though.
when i saw 4060 I thought to close the video for a sec...

If you don't care about wifi or aesthetics you could save a little more on the motherboard and case and be pretty much in line with a $700 ryzen 5600 - rx 7700xt build.
finally pc building community have a moustache guy. keep up brother ❤ with your content of your pc building , love from india. thanks for insights
I love the fact that he used the AMD Wraith Prism Cooler for the thumbnail and at the end not a lot of tech yters show love to it
I had it on hand and I thought it’d look good in this build
@@ScatterVolt I feel like people hate on it for no reason, one of the coolest stock coolers in my opinion. Walk into MicroCenter and almost ever amd pre build has one
thank you so much this is gonna be my first time building a pc
Awesome! Don't forget I've got everything you need linked in the pcbuilds.gg in the description!
Not a bad build for the budget - if you have another $100-150 you could go with an AM5 platform. This would give you more upgrade potential to extend the life of your build.
Explain?
@@Bilraotuream4 is dead and am5 has I think 2 more rows of upcoming CPUs until 2027 or sth. Still for a budget build I guess it's still ok to go am4 but I wouldn't. Boards are getting cheaper and CPUs too.
I have a 7900gre and going to wait it out until next generation. Can’t believe Sony didn’t release it with at least a 4070 comparable GPU as lots of gamers have chose that GPU
I Should have waited for the release of new gen but good thing I had good deals building on AM4 for $710. Might upgrade again for at least another 3yrs when AM5 drops prices on our country or another generation of GPU arrives
Ryzen 7 5700x3D
MSI 6800xt Gaming X Trio
Gigabyte B550+2x16gb Corsair ram
Thermalright Pearless Assasin 120

1tb Kingston nvme+250gb sata ssd
Tecware flatline case+3 additional fans and a Custom black sleeve

The 4060 caught me off guard lol
Hehe
I know my audience too well haha
Please also create a video for a best budget Gaming PC Under $1000 and $1400. Also I wanted to ask your opinion on this; Do you think Last Gen and older gen GPU Prices will go down when the RTX 50 series releases?

I said to myself when the PS5 pro price got announced and everyone was talking about making a PC for the same price, if ANYONE can match the price to performance of the PS5 pro its scattervolt!
I saved up $700 for a pc and this is the perfect tutorial
Good choices: I am still a big fan of Am4👍 my personal thought: The T500 is really good but maybe overkill from a budget perspective. Either a better cpu fan or 3600 Ram or a larger ssd might be worth a consideration instead. WD SN 580 is cheaper atm and got good reviews.
Drink every time he mentions his website 😅😅
I'm 10 minutes in, and I'm fffeeling aa a bbbittt ttippssyy..
Can you time stamp them all? I can’t remember what it’s called.
I was lucky enough to pick up asrock 6750 xt back in July before it was about to go out of production, so glad i got it before that.
A 5700X3D is a nice upgrade since you can run so much games better than what you currently have and will be visible for new AAAA games.
You miss some important steps like applying the XMP profile in the BIOS. And overclocking automatically using Ryzen master isn't worth it for gaming.
Your videos have always been amazing! ❤❤❤

This build was oddly relaxing 😌
I need advice on what parts should I consider buying in 2024. Budget ceiling at $2500. I want to play in 1080p, ultra, without Ray Tracing, without Path Tracing, without other useless features, in stable 3 digit fps (1% low at 100+) in 98% of games and without any part upgrades for at least 7 years. If I'm delusional about those requirements, feel free to say it. Have a nice day/night.
$2,500 PC to play at 1080p? LUL
This is pretty good value for 700 and parts can be carried somewhat into upgrades: GPU. GPU in the PS5 Pro going to be stuck in the PS5 Pro.
It's quite nice for $700
@@ScatterVoltAnd for about 60 dollars more you could’ve used the 7700xt which is theoretically what’s in the ps5 pro
Since I already have the standard PS5, I'd go for the PC & not the PS5 Pro.
for $700 this is amazing! but i would rather get Ryzen 5 7500F and Rx 7800 Xt for the same price for a $1300 pc, best cpu and gpu combo for gaming imo.
There are 2 6750XT listed from XFX and PowerColor on PCPP. Yeah, I agree for AMD, stick to these 3 brands.
With a used GPU and used CPU/Motherboard maybe
Thank you I won’t buy ps5 pro because of this video ❤️🔥buying straight out of the provided links 🤣👊🏻❤️
Just purchased all of the components. Can’t wait to build it

dont worry about the frame generation mistake. I dont think the ps5 pro is going to have an option to turn pssr off anyways.

You can add a $200 monitor and $50 each on a nice mouse and keyboard to get a full setup for $1000 too.
A logitech KB/M is $20. So, you don't need a monitor to play on our PS5??? LUL
@@itsatrap4986 Yeah you don't need a monitor that can go as low as $100, you need a $500 TV. Congrats you made yourself look like a complete idiot

You should do a best CPU to buy in September video. To go with the GPU videos
should i still use the 6800? and if ever should buy parts now or wait till Christmas?
If you ca wait for rdna 4 it will most likely be anounced on the CES on early January, I will do this.
you can't build something for the same price, figure on over $1000. then remember if it has vanilla windows on it it's going to be bogged down by winbloat, you actually need extra compute and threads plus memory to realize all that over the top hardware and get the most out of it where consoles can squeeze more out of the less they have, even on xsx where they have realized that it runs better in some circumstances because of the highly tuned and gaming centric windows dx stack on there
Thank you for the detailed bios and windows demo :) I have my build but since I have a Mac I have no op:(
This is really dope, think its time to make the switch to PC. Wanted to find out opinions on switching the amd cpu to an intel i5 12600kf for an extra $40-ish and a $99 b760m motherboard. Seems to be a special going on. Would the extra $40 give a great improvement to gaming or not really.
Well if you can grab a new Ryzen 5600 for $75 off of my Aliexpress link through pcbuilds.gg then that’s the way to go versus a 12600kf for ~$150
@@ScatterVolt Awesome thanks
@@ScatterVolt Ahh man, live in South Africa and the seller doesn't ship here. Why can't we have nice things
Then it sounds like you were on the right track with your original comment above!
Ps5 pro price include a controller so your build should include a decent keyboard & mouse so you'll have to cheap on some parts. Games are optimized for console meaning that the console will run smoother vs equivalent spec.
PS5 Pro also needs yearly PlayStation Plus for most online gaming whereas the PC is free 😅
A microsoft or logitech KB/M combo is literally $20. Or a gaming mouse from Steel Series or Razer is just $20.
@@itsatrap4986 a 20$ combo is real trash. PS5 pro got 2tb and this build only got 1tb. It's up to you to cheap on one of the most important part which allow you to interact properly with the game.
Can you make a video showing an all white pc build ? Same price range give or take?
Get the $360 RX6800 for 16GB VRAM and more speed than the RX6750XT.
Well spent +$50.
My only issue with PC builds in this range is that my PS5 plays stuff like Fortnite at 120fps with what looks like much better settings.
He is using a combination of good looking graphics with fps friendly settings, he is playing on high technically with double your fps.
why's the 4060 hated on?
im planning on building a pc, never done it before and was wondering why people hate on it 😂, and if the one u used is better? and whats the price difference between the 2
Night and day difference when compared to watching someone like MissMikkaa build a PC.
Cut her some slack!
Ps5 games are expensive af and i really believe in the long run for gamers Pc is the way to go
Wow the 7600 XT is pretty impressive
Bro pls help me ,when i go to the pc part picker Website and chose the same parts you did i get this warning:
,, The MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard supports the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 3.5 GHz 6-Core Processor with BIOS version 7C95v2A. If the motherboard is using an older BIOS version, updating the BIOS will be necessary to support the CPU" What should i do
Everything listed in my pcbuilds.gg list is compatible. There is no need to throw it into pcpartpicker.
Unless I mention a bios update in the video then you don’t need to do one.
What type of LED strip is at the top of the case? Awesome build btw!
That isn’t an LED strip lol

dx12 on fortnite is better for amd gpu's at least in my experience, I always get stutters on dx11 & performance mode (rx 6650xt)
