Do you guys have technology like Nvidia's DLDSR that uses the tensor cores? If so, you could use that to move up to 4K quality even on a 1080p screen. It doesn't take up that much performance either.
Bro not gonna lie when I started the vid and seen the 4060 I backed out but then decided to watch it anyways and man I’m glad I did 😁…. I’m currently putting together a shopping list with the Ryzen 5 5600 and an RX 6700 xt so this is the perfect vid to inspire my build even more….thanks for the great upload!
What a coincidence, I'm listening to this video as I'm building a PC and it's the identical components. Same CPU, GPU and MB. Going with 32GB RAM but at 3600 MHz and the SSD is a fast Samsung 980 PRO 2 TB. As for the case I'm looking to vertically mount the GPU so that reduces my choices. This is my new backup PC so it doesn't need to be very powerful and I plan to try video editing with this card. Anyway, back to my own build, cheers.
I'm not going to knock the ps5 pro but I've spent most my life on consoles and loved it.last was ps5 witch they said it was so powerful could play 2 games at once😅but I spent 800 bucks for the ps4 console with games and then got ps5 slim even more.my lust for games on console stopped and not chasing them no more they are a waste of money.now I got pc with starting 4070 so I'm happier so much more than ever.u can't beat a pc❤
One thing I will say is: local prices will make this PC cost 2x. Here? This PC WILL cost $1400 - 5600 is $200, 6750 is $500, and everything else will be more in price as well. This is because we have a stupid import tax and I know that many other countries will suffer the same fate. I am REALLY jealous of USA pricing, you guys get it best and amazon prime actually works for you.
You can go further than this because of online sub. Thats an extra 135$ that consoles pay yearly, plus games are more expensive, so if you buy only 6 games per year, thats another $420. As someone who went from PS4 to PC, the initial cost is a bit steep but is cheaper over time.
A beginners guide, with questionable part selection. Only go 5600 if at the AliExpress price, better options at $100. Thermalright has better coolers for that price. The motherboard is budget, spend $25-30 more on a better model. Stick to RAM from reputable brands, no one needs to deal with binned Hynix dies. The case and PSU are just bad picks, do not use that god awful PSU tier list site, cybenetics exists for a reason. The brand of GPU matters, for AMD stick to Powercolor or Sapphire, also don't expect to find a 6750 XT now, stock is already low.
They keep going in and out of stock. I've been using them for most new mid-range customer builds. The PowerColor Fighter is pretty cheaply made, XFX is about it.
Yes you are right but with second hand and being last generation the options maybe limited. You can in such case go with premium variants of cards from other brands. Me and my friend got the Aorus Elite Gigabyte 6700 xt from ebay, our cards so far are really good. Super quiet and very cool temperatures (plus bonus rgb presets). Yet to see any kind of issue in them. XFX brand is another great option if that is available.
This is the same build i did for son and his mate, I did use the amd 5700x cpu as it was on sale, It’s a great system that does everything. The gpu I used 7700xt.
In India 6750xt or the 6000 series cards are not usually available anywhere (except 6600). So RTX 4060 is probably one of the most value for money cards right now for us. Even when it is available it's around like $415 while the 4060 is around $320.
@@Riyozsu3060ti is also running out of stock, it's not even much better, it draws more power and even if it is in stock it's more expensive so not worth it

You know if the rumors are true and the ps5 pro performance is about 7700 XT/3070 TI/6800 or (7800 XT which is doubtful) level this is technically worse performance wise, still solid build though.
Fair point, however, if we include an $80 yearly subscription to PSPlus, then that’ll afford us a RX 6800/7700XT for this build which would put it supposedly on the level of a PS5 Pro according to your comment.
@@bfhandsomeface409they said 3070 ti from what I remember because of raytracing raster is about 7700 XT supposedly, it's nowhere near 4070 that's about 15% or 20% faster depending on the game or more same goes for the 7800 XT it's not likely.

I went for $800, since my initial plan included a disc drive and stand, and I think I just got myself a 1440p beast (7500F+7800XT). Since most of the PS5 titles I want have or soon will be released on PC, I think I'm settled.
A note on the AliExpress cpu’s. Out of three I’ve purchased that came in just a clamshell the 5700x3d which I purchased last came with two bent pins. Was a simple enough fix but considering it took 3 weeks to get to me I wasn’t going to send it back. Just something to think about when trying to save a few bucks. The $150 paid for it was pretty sweet though.
The PS5 Pro will definitely not be worth it even if they have an insane performance boost compared to the normal PS5. The only reason why people may buy this is if GTA 6 is exclusive to the PS5 Pro.

@@francisblanchet4584 It won't run smoother than a PC with similar specs. For example, Black Myth Wukong, it looks dog poop on PS5 with locked 30 FPS. On PC, you can use Digital Foundry's optimized settings and it will look gorgeous and run a lot better with higher FPS. Sir, your method of building PC is the best 🙌
When i saw the 4060 i was like wait a second
I gotta catch you guys off guard once in a while!
fr bro😅
@@ScatterVolt didn't catch me off guard tbh
Lol, you know I’d never use that GPU haha
The ps5 pro GPU is like a rtx 4070
Finally you recommend the 7600xt - I know it's slow but I like it going to build this now for sure
Great build. I have a Ryzen 5 5600x with Arous B450 motherboard with RX6750XT 850-watt PSU that runs great. My only issue is that I have a 1080p 144htz monitor
Do you guys have technology like Nvidia's DLDSR that uses the tensor cores? If so, you could use that to move up to 4K quality even on a 1080p screen.
It doesn't take up that much performance either.
rx 6750 xt is best for 1080p
@@astrolightingyt4531 it's good for 1440p mostly
Snag that $75 Ryzen 5600 through my Aliexpress link!
Don't vertical mount your GPU trust me. Great build you wil enjoy it!
I'm not going to knock the ps5 pro but I've spent most my life on consoles and loved it.last was ps5 witch they said it was so powerful could play 2 games at once😅but I spent 800 bucks for the ps4 console with games and then got ps5 slim even more.my lust for games on console stopped and not chasing them no more they are a waste of money.now I got pc with starting 4070 so I'm happier so much more than ever.u can't beat a pc❤
when i saw 4060 I thought to close the video for a sec...

I saved up $700 for a pc and this is the perfect tutorial
Scatter volt is a legend in this pc community 🐐
One thing I will say is: local prices will make this PC cost 2x. Here? This PC WILL cost $1400 - 5600 is $200, 6750 is $500, and everything else will be more in price as well. This is because we have a stupid import tax and I know that many other countries will suffer the same fate. I am REALLY jealous of USA pricing, you guys get it best and amazon prime actually works for you.
Drink every time he mentions his website 😅😅
I'm 10 minutes in, and I'm fffeeling aa a bbbittt ttippssyy..
Can you time stamp them all? I can’t remember what it’s called.

The fact that ps5 pro is actually 780$ not 700$ because it’s diskless
810$ actually 30$ more for the stand which is not concluded in the box
This PC is diskless as well so what's your point lol
This PC is also diskless
This diskless is also pc
@AdamJapaly don't forget the additional 70 or 140 for a brand new game they will likely purchase alongside.
Your videos have always been amazing! ❤❤❤
The 4060 caught me off guard lol
Hehe
I know my audience too well haha
You can go further than this because of online sub. Thats an extra 135$ that consoles pay yearly, plus games are more expensive, so if you buy only 6 games per year, thats another $420. As someone who went from PS4 to PC, the initial cost is a bit steep but is cheaper over time.
should i still use the 6800? and if ever should buy parts now or wait till Christmas?
If you ca wait for rdna 4 it will most likely be anounced on the CES on early January, I will do this.
Can you make video of your CS2 Gameplay like whole match
Because in every benchmark you are rocking some headshots however we can see few whiff too
You forgot about the 4k blu ray drive
This PC doesn’t use one either
This build was oddly relaxing 😌
A beginners guide, with questionable part selection. Only go 5600 if at the AliExpress price, better options at $100. Thermalright has better coolers for that price. The motherboard is budget, spend $25-30 more on a better model. Stick to RAM from reputable brands, no one needs to deal with binned Hynix dies. The case and PSU are just bad picks, do not use that god awful PSU tier list site, cybenetics exists for a reason. The brand of GPU matters, for AMD stick to Powercolor or Sapphire, also don't expect to find a 6750 XT now, stock is already low.
There are 2 6750XT listed from XFX and PowerColor on PCPP. Yeah, I agree for AMD, stick to these 3 brands.
Just get 3060 ti
@@Riyozsu3060ti is also running out of stock, it's not even much better, it draws more power and even if it is in stock it's more expensive so not worth it
7600 xt is available, right?
@@youknowwhat007 yeah but it's actually kinda bad lol it's nowhere near powerful enough to utilise all 16gb vram just get the 7600 non xt or 4060
@@justmatt2655 the 16gb vram is used in 1440p as shown in Starfield where 4060 with 8gb will stutter. Also, imo spending some bucks on VRAM means you will be able to play games releasing in future, like when GTA 6 release, it's gonna consume alot of VRAM then 4060 won't be enough.
I am doing almost the exact same, though my budget only gets me rx 5700xt + ryzen 5 5700x combo. I don't have a mobo yet because I don't know which one is the best on my budget but, This vid helps me find one for reference, thank You! (Would probably watch this video again as I build later on lol)
Way better than a console
Built my first pc today thank so much for the help 😢❤
does the displayport cable come in the pcgg link?
A cable usually comes with the graphics card so you don't need to worry about buying it
@@humdansiddiqui4896 thank you man i appreciate the reply, its my first time buying parts and building it so im kinda scared, what about the usb wifi thing he talked about? do i gotta buy it separately?
You know if the rumors are true and the ps5 pro performance is about 7700 XT/3070 TI/6800 or (7800 XT which is doubtful) level this is technically worse performance wise, still solid build though.
Fair point, however, if we include an $80 yearly subscription to PSPlus, then that’ll afford us a RX 6800/7700XT for this build which would put it supposedly on the level of a PS5 Pro according to your comment.
@@ScatterVoltwhy would you do that though? Free games don’t need a subscription. So that’s Fortnite, Apex, Warzone etc.
Yea um Id like to point out that these consoles upscale a lot.
Digital Founder said 4070 levels of performance, so about 10% more than the 7700xt.
@@bfhandsomeface409they said 3070 ti from what I remember because of raytracing raster is about 7700 XT supposedly, it's nowhere near 4070 that's about 15% or 20% faster depending on the game or more same goes for the 7800 XT it's not likely.
I love the fact that he used the AMD Wraith Prism Cooler for the thumbnail and at the end not a lot of tech yters show love to it
I had it on hand and I thought it’d look good in this build
@@ScatterVolt I feel like people hate on it for no reason, one of the coolest stock coolers in my opinion. Walk into MicroCenter and almost ever amd pre build has one
You can get an Intel 12600KF, Z790P-Wifi, and 16 GB of DDR4 memory for just over $250 at Microcenter. The AMD craze for a budget build is a little out of hand. A 12600 KF blows the 5600 out of the water.
That’s exclusive to microcenter tho so not really a widely applicable/ easily to replicate build
That wouldn't be a ps5 pro comparable pc, it'll MURDER the console😂😂
Great budget build. Keep up the great content.
It’s funny because I had to fight to get my PS5 when it came out, and when they announced the PS5 Pro, i was like “nope I’m not doing this again”. I ended up going out and spending 3K on a gaming pc😅
Please tell me that you built it? I built my PC last year. 12700k, 32gb of DDR4 Corsair Vengeance CL16, ZOTAC 4080, Asus Z790 TUF DDR4 Ver. THOR 850 platinum PS for $2500.
No I didn’t build it, I had an experienced friend build my PC for me. Core i9-14900KF 3.2GHz 8+16 Cores | Intel Z790 Chipset | 32GB DDR5 | 2TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD. It’s a beast of a machine and I’m happy with it
@@LordBLKRamen as long as you are happy with it doesn't even matter what any says. However, I got to say this, Welcome to PCMR. You are one of the elites now. No more peasantry....lol j/k. Enjoy it man. And very nice build.
@@mrdappernature8861 thanks bro 😂 honestly I’m really enjoying the machine so far. PC gaming is a different community than I’m used to so it feels like a fresh start. I’m really looking forward to trying games I’ve already played but on ultra settings. I don’t see myself going back to console and I’m contemplating selling my Xbox and PS5 lol
You should do a best CPU to buy in September video. To go with the GPU videos
Weird how Sony fans never ad online fees into the mix. Specially as the elevator pitch of the PS5 Pro
is "Play GTA VI at launch at it best"
To be fair you only need ps plus for multiplayer game modes and a good portion don't bother with those.
most popular online games are free to play
no ps plus required
1 it’s optional, and 2 you get 40 games plus extra discounts a year for $6 per month. Not a bad deal imo.
you only need it if you want to play multiplayer.... i don't
Yo bro! I’m about to order the parts for this video, but I don’t really like how the case insides are covered by the side things. Would this case from Amazon work? “Cooler Master Elite 301 Micro-ATX High Airflow PC Case, 365mm GPU Max, 280mm AIO Max, Type C, Tempered Glass, Triple 120mm PWM Fan, Intakes Grill, Breathable PSU Shroud”
If it’s mATX then it will work 😊
*Nah* i would rather go 800$ or 900$ for AM5 R5 7500F to be future proof and squeeze a better GPU in
any recomendation build with 7500f ?
@@AJ-sz3sy The best GPU would be Rx 7900 GRE, better and cheaper than 4070
If u find a used 6700 xt go for it too if you're on a budget
I went for $800, since my initial plan included a disc drive and stand, and I think I just got myself a 1440p beast (7500F+7800XT). Since most of the PS5 titles I want have or soon will be released on PC, I think I'm settled.
Ps5 specs out class this build.
Facts this doesn't come close.
The PS5 pro is better value to performance, but this is a good entry level PC build.
I was lucky enough to pick up asrock 6750 xt back in July before it was about to go out of production, so glad i got it before that.
Ps5 pro is a scam
How so?
No it’s not lol!
Bro, you got lucky with your P6 today 😅
Yea after Carlos and Checo shunted into the wall
We absolutely got robbed of an exciting race finish
@@ScatterVolt well Piastri was already a few seconds clear and they would’ve reached the back markers which was gonna mess up the end but that penultimate lap was pretty fun to watch
I prefer gaming on my consoles more than my $2000+ PC. Of course, PC looks better in every way, but consoles are convenient and comfortable. I don't have to tweak anything, and i can lay back in my recyliner on a 77-inch lg oled.
the PS5 pro costs $750 and $80 for the disk drive. add extra $30 for the vertical stand. you can upgrade to am5 platform with ryzen 5 7500f or upgrade your gpu for the 7700 xt for that price lol. and i haven't even mention the cost to play online (PS plus). not to mention you can do so much more with your pc like editing, work, school, etc.
Lol cmon! Will you put a disc drive on your pc ? Do you have a controller or mouse & keyboard included in your pc build ? Games are optimized for console meaning same spec will run smoother on console.
We're talking about a RX 6600 or 3060 which is slower than the PS5, RX 6700 10GB GPU.
@@francisblanchet4584 even with a keyboard and mouse (my keyboard is like $20 digital alliance mechanical and my mouse is $34 logitech g304) it’s still pretty cheap lol. at least with pc you can play online without paying $100 a year 😅.
if you’re wondering how my keyboard feels, it’s pretty solid for it’s price and i’ve been using it for the past 5 years with a bit of foam mod.
yeah the disk drives isn’t necessary for both pc and console, but someone else who might want it have to pay more.
@@francisblanchet4584Only some games are optimized for console. Not all, not even the majority. Also a decent mouse and keyboard combo is incredibly cheap, less than 1 year of PS plus, lol. Btw, I own a PS5 and a PC
The funniest and saddest part is that here in my country consoles are so expensive and full of taxes, especially at launch, that you can literally build an RTX 4070 setup easily with the official estimated value of the PS5 Pro.
😂😭
Based protectionism pushing people to evolve into pcmr before ever being tempted by the peasant life.
BOSTIL kkkk
I got everything you have in this build, however I went cheap on the graphic card and got a Soyo RX 580 (Huge Mistake!) it would not run any of my games, it basically just crashes or goes black screen, shutting down on me. That's what I get for buying a cheap a** graphic card! Learn my mistake so I ordered the RX 7800 Gigabyte version with 3 fans, sorta makes me sick to have to spend that much money for a graphic especially when it costs more than xbox s series, however I think it'll be worth it in the long run. The PC runs great, proud of myself except for the dumb mistake I made on buying a cheap graphic card. lol! Thanks for everything bro even though I've built a pc myself long ago before all this was on TH-cam but my memory was a little foggy so watching your video has help me a lot and reminded myself the skills that I still have. :)
The 699 price tag of the PS5 Pro is absurb, that's not even the standard version LOL.
Well, if we wanna play that game, then there’s a keyboard and mouse you gotta get with a pc, and $20 windows license, plus whatever else you need for a PC lol
@@ScatterVoltwhy are u defending consoles shouldnt u also critisize the ps5 prro cauze normally playstation company make these at a loss and get profit through game but in the ps5 pro they are literally breaking even thats for sure or even a profit idk .
